I've watched Madeleine's channel a few times. Please tell her to change very little. Perfection is the enemy of Good! So many times, on social we try to be perfect and in doing so, lose the human "element". This may lead to a lack of trust and likeability. Madeleine has a unique Color Insight profile and energy style (Yellow/Amiable). Basically, she should continue to Keep it Real and be herself. :)- Well Done!

Aaron, and Madeleine, the joy of your channel is just hanging out, for one moment in these crazy days...life is peaceful. You have a very certain vibe that takes us out of the crazy for just a small moment of real peace and tranquility. Whether you're fishing, cooking, talking with Captains (which was epic, even though I didn't understand a thing, it was relaxing). Just be you, in all your hippy gloriousness. Is that a word? Think the world of you and your family...keep on rolling on!

Don’t bother. As someone who grew up in the keys I can tell you they are fished out. The coral reefs are dead. The main landers and developers have destroyed the once abundant waters. Tourists have abused the waters for their own entertainment. You can’t purchase a decent home for under 1 million dollars. The vast majority of houses are vacation rentals owned by greedy investors who could care less about the destruction of the environment. The labor force can’t afford to live there. They are bussed in from Homestead. So unless you are a millionaire, stay where you are. It’s now the playground for the rich and famous. The watermans lifestyle is the exception not the rule. Good luck.

The blue crabs are about to mate. The male (top) will hold on to the juvenile female (triangle apron) until she is ready to molt. When she molts (her last time) she will become a mature sook (more of a shaped apron), during the time she’s soft he will flip her over and they will mate. After the deed is done, he will remain with her until her shell completely hardens (4-6 hours) to protect her, then they will go their separate ways. In 4-6 weeks she will start to grow yellow/orange eggs under her apron.

It's funny you've said that about the chillies having no heat. I buy jalapeños here in Pennsylvania, the same thing here that last several months to a year. I have bought them from several stores, no spice to maybe a little tang. What's going on!?!

Exploring new spots is half the experience. The food looks delicious!

A beautiful day on the water is never boring. That red sauce could make an interesting pizza. Maybe a seafood pizza? Your Gheenoe is a spot finding machine. I love cruising along on the front deck of my boat, some of the really clear lakes around my house have ten foot of visibility. There is always a lot to be seen and found.
