im sure a dozen people have said this already, but as a hard stuck gold player, gold rank is absolutely riddled with ugly ass jade weapons and has been for weeks 😭
Heck, it didn't take me that long to get a Jade weapon and i'm hard stuck in silver rn. One good thing is that jade weapons are rare there

ONG bro I played for like 2 weeks and got a jade weapon they are not hard to get I don’t equip them becouse gold are way better
I had 2950 comp points at the end of last season and upset that I gotta wait a year to get another gold weapon.

there were jade weapons in gold/plat lobbies pretty quick, its not a testament of how good you are its just how much you play
Yea, especially since season rewards are removed
it takes 150-120 comp games to have enough points to get jade, playing that much you’d probably be a pretty high rank
@@mikluvx not when the matchmaking is truly 50/50, doesnt matter how much healing and kills i got as a support, if my tank is no where to be found and my dps cant aim then im never going to rank up doing solo queue, was master supp at the end of season 8(grinded up from gold 3) just to now be hard stuck in high plat low diamond with the new comp system cause every loss is expected so i loss 40% but every win is also expected so i only gain 12-18%

It's like they thought bad aim was "slow" instead of inaccurate/overshooting. Then they STILL hit all the rails, you don't have that rail accuracy on a hero that's good on every map just to stay gold. Their pathing on Tracer sealed the deal later on...

I was so close, I got the person on the blue team right and I knew it was one of the supports on the red team. I don’t know how Jay was ignoring the prowess of the Sojourn on kings row, he was so tunnel visioned on the jade weapon he completely missed it!
i knew it was xa for blue the whole time. on kings row his sojourn was really good. and in the second game rewatch it and xa was cooking on sombra literally all game. was getting pick after pick

ive been in gold for a while. Gold tends to be the place for people who chronically play this game but refuse to improve at the game. Jade weapons fucking everywhere. this is where all the no deoderant people are

I'm unsure of when you did that, as in I don't know what season it was, but if you do some basic math you'd need to *win* like 25-30 games a day in order to get 3000 competitive points in a week, as of Season 9 that is. Accounting for the fact that you said you're hard-stuck gold I'd assume you have a 50%ish winrate, at which point you'd be playing 50 games a day or so. Let's assume each game lasts about 20 minutes, including queue time, that's around 16 hours a day you'd be playing. I know it was higher at like 25 points per win in earlier Seasons though, which brings it down to like 17 games which probably is doable but, I mean, what?
@@avanananabruh fuck maths, you wanna know what I did (idk if I pointed it out in my comment and cba looking back) here’s what I did I woke up at 8am or earlier and play till 4am next day or after then maybe get a rest and start playing again at 8 even when I had college I would play until the very last second before I left I didn’t really take a “break” to speak of.
I got 2 jade weapons and i'm currently on mid plat-high (i got some games where people troll i was plat 1 to Diamond and ive had shit luck) but yeaa i think a purely gold ranked player could get such.

The GM/Champ players are trying to blend into the gold players while also trying to win. If they just went full tilt, you'd be able to see the difference very quickly.

Gold players still hit shots, they still LOS, they're gold cause their game sense is bad and overcommit
a GM player doesn't do that they just wiff easily hit shots or do what that mercy did which is bronze level shit
