Bowser only had one foot in the triangle and not both feet, which both need to be in the triangle in order to damage him. By the way, if the player stands in the triangle, the lightning CAN ACTUALLY HURT YOU. And just like in other 3D Mario games, touching bowser while he is stationary can also hurt you. IT WORKS IN MARIO SUNSHINE TRUST ME!
I think you can survive the charge attack as long as you're not too close to the lava. And, Emile, I didn't know that could happen in Bowser Wrestling either. Lastly, how anticlimactic was that for Panels of Doom?! (I think it's completely luck based though.)
I appreciate emile's happy-go-lucky attitude and enthusiasm, but like Jon mentioned when he was attempting the bowser final boss minigame, Emile needs to work on explaining all the rules, aspects and details of a minigame so that no one is surprised when a new thing suddenly happens
Also something I find worthy to note about the final battle: If you beat the final battle in story mode, while bowser is hopelessly complaining, the faces that the players make are HILARIOUS!!! Especially Wario's!
That explains why DK isn't in the rest of the Mario Party games as a playable character. He fell into a realm of darkness, but is able to help you in Mario Party 7
Why would Bowser fight in an arena with a built in hazard that he can't even activate himself? That's the only way to beat him? There's boss room stupidity, then there's this!
Where have you been? Since 1985, all Bowser fights have some hazard that kills Bowser that has no logical reason to be there. "Ok, I'm going to hop up and down on this bridge, and just place on axe on the other side of it that can tear it down in one shot." "Ok, I'm going to build a lair with a floor that breaks when I jump on one spot 3 times, and I'm going to attack by jumping on my foes." "Ok, I'm going to fight on this island in the middle of a lava pit, and I'm going to surround it with bombs that kill me instantly if I touch them."
They put a fair amount of effort into the Bowser games in Mario Party 4, while I feel the board aesthetic could've been approved they did put a lot into this game, and I really do like its style. Basically every Mario Party from 4 to 8 I think nails a solid style, and 4's to thank for kicking it off as the first Gamecube Mario Party, I suppose. Shame DK had to be sent to the Shadow Realm for this to happen, but sacrifices must be made, I guess.
That's either alternate dimesion DK who came from the Ultimate Mario series, or the original DK who now rethinks his life after he escape death from the end of MP4 which is why he's not playable in the next MP games.
Also, at 9:47, the more damage you do to bowser at the final battle, the faster he moves. That is why I find this fight to be somewhat harder than Corona Mountain, which ironically I am able to breeze through no sweat.

Of course after the actual competition is over, Emile loses at all the luck based games. And I'm wondering: are they doing the "bonus" boards with Whomp and Thwomp? I feel like they've mentioned this already and it just slipped my mind.
It IS weird to see Jon playing as Yoshi since I'm used to seeing Tim playing as Yoshi, I keep thinking that Tim is playing when Jon is actually playing. Also, RI.P. Chuggaa who "died" at Jon's Birthday.
That panels of Doom minigame just exemplified how bad this whole lp was and how Jon has no right to claim that he has bad luck, even though I'm sure he will.
8:05, bowser's charge attack is not instant death actually. He can fool you into thinking that it is instant death if you are close enough to the lava, which is what usually happens. Bowser's charge attack usually pushes you into the lava if you are close enough. I have actually been able to get hit by that charge attack and not get sent directly to the lava.

I have to admit, I had more fun with this final battle than with Super Mario Sunshine's, back when I played it.
All the different character presents are amazing. Specially the Bowser ones. It's sad Chugga thinks it was not worth it to collect them all lol
