Just think, if Tim would have won the dice game with the goomba on the last turn, he would have been able to visit boo, and he had 66 coins so he could have stolen a star and secured the win. The last turn screwed him over
He said "pull off the coin star" right after failing that. He would've stolen from the person with the most coins and he would've won, possibly without even a tie in stars. (steals normally 20 coins from Jon, plus 10 from the mini-game. He would've won without being in a tie.)
What's this sad face emoticon for? When I see emoticons (especially the one for the sad face), I say, "We all understand that the sad face is a cry baby!". I saw it on the crash screen of a Windows 10 computer, as well as in a comment about the Wii Shop Channel being discontinued. When I see that, I call it a bad name. And I do it...! ...JUST SO I GET ATTENTION FROM "FRIENDS"! By the way, I agree with that. If Tim beat Goomba, he would have been able to go to the Boo House. And since he had enough coins to STEAL A STAR, he would have chosen JON. Jon, he got 2 of the bonus stars rather. He had 2 normal stars. And for the bonus stars, it was the Minigame Star and the Coin Star. Jon won by 4 stars. Tim and Daisy both got the Green Star (NOTE: This is the bonus star you win for landing on the most GREEN SPACES.). And yes, I am talking about this board being Tim's win. (NOTE: Their real names are Chuggaaconroy, Nintendo Capri Sun, and Proton Jon. But no matter what, I am sticking with calling the "Runaway Guys" team as Chugga, Tim, and Jon.) But anyway, Chugga (if you were the one who started the "Runaway Guys" series), what does the sad face emoticon mean?
XARATH DOMINION?! A bot? What's a bot? (BTW, were you talking about my comment on the emoticon when I saw a sad face for that? Because that's what I was talking about.)

That is so freaky. I'm watching Jon streaming right now and exactly when Tim said "You will give me an egg" Jon said it on the stream and played the sound.
Wow. Tim has got real sour luck. Landed on the Launcher space twice and got sent back to start when he had enough to see Boo. Congrats on a great game but that roulette save Jon from defeat.
So basically, Jon has already won Mario Party 4 pretty much? Not that I'm disappointed about that: It makes up for the bullcrap Jon went through in Mario Party 3
"Daylight Savings sucks, no one likes it, it needs to go away." "America is just dumb." Chugga, I award you 1,000 YES points for each of those statements. Because they are SO MUCH YES.
Eh, this one was mostly skill. He had mini game by a large margin, coin because of that, and no hidden blocks. The only luck was with star location, which mostly went against him anyway. Other boards have been luck, but not here.
It's ironic, this board was much more of a rollercoaster than Toad's Midway Madness. All 3 players and the AI all had a good potential to win the board. Even when the game seemed to screw Jon over by helping him, he managed to take it in the end. I thought this would be Tim's for sure, though.
Daylight Savings Time was actually conceived by Kaiser Wilhelm as an energy-saving measure (farmers had nothing to do with it; that they did is a common but incorrect belief), and adopted by many other countries. And back then, it did have that effect; power use was far higher at night than during the day. These days, however, with basically everything being electrical, increased use of lights at night is no longer noticeable.
Yes he does. in Mario Party 4 there are 6 boards Jon;s won 3 out of them he has to win one more to be the overall winner so the most is to tie him but for that either Chugga, NCS or even the AI have to win all the remaining boards to tie him so unless that happens Jon's pretty much won already.

What follows are my thoughts on the episode, as well as the board game as a whole. *SPOILERS* I actually thought that this was the best board of Mario Party that TRG has ever played. High scoring, high stakes, high tension. There honestly wasn't a clear winner for a good chunk of it. However...I understand why people were upset, because the last turn played out something like this: Tim: Alright, I have a high enough roll to see Boo, enough coins to take a star, let's see if I can secure a win. Goomba: Yeah, fuck you. You're going back to start instead.
Jon is now three for three after a seemingly improbable comeback on a board where luck should have played a huge role in Emile's win. Will the streak continue as they head to the Scariest party this side of the Mushroom Kingdom. Join Jon, Emile and Tim in Boo's Haunted Bash next time on TRG
So ProtonJon, the most unlucky person on the Runaway guys, managed to win opn the most luck based board, while Chuggaaconroy, the most lucky person on the team, came in last. For Jon, this was truly a Christmas Miracle.
how is it still anyone's game? Jon has three wins in a row! The only way to stop him now is with a tie for 1st. I am calling that no matter what Jon wins this Let's play no matter what. even if I want Tim or Emile to end this in a tie with him.
I love daylight savings because I love it when it gets dark later. What I wish is that daylight savings time was done all year round and not just half a year.
more like the game is making him won every board as his present from it or have a auto win in board wins. then again, when they started this, it was Jon's birthday and the game wants to give him and Waluigi some love.
Weareonenation303 yeah, and I am not liking it in honesty, since Emile and Tim are not even getting a chance to be on the board and it feels bad that they are not even on the board to make this more intense.
Goomba's Greedy Gala was very close. Emile could had won Shy Guy's Jungle Jam if he bought a Magic Lamp. Jon owned Toad's Midway Madness. I think Jon has won because he hasn't got screwed hard enough. Allowing his good skill level to take effect. Emile depends on some luck to win. Tim COMPLETELY depends on luck to win since he is not very good at most mini games, sadly. Emile can still make a comeback if Jon returns with his MP3 luck and make a tie. It's unlikely to happen though.
I looked away for a moment to look at something, and I come back to Daisy running on the board and thinking for a split second it was DK's face sliding along the path. And that was a REALLY close game.
This actually wasn't the first time Chugga finished in last. He got last place on Creepy Cavern in Mario Party 3. Also, Tim totally got screwed on the last turn. If he didn't get something ridiculous to top like a 9, he would go to Boo, (possibly) steal a star, and win. It sucks that Tim is so lovable and yet the game always fucks him in the end (except in Mario Party 3).
Even if Tim won this board (by stealing a star from Jon --via the Boo House), the game still would have crapped him out in both this game (yes, MARIO PARTY 4) and the other previous ones except MARIO PARTY 3. (That is, along with MARIO PARTY 1 and 2.) If Jon had not won Creepy Cavern but Chugga, Jon would've been shut out from that game (yes, MARIO PARTY 3). But Chugga would have tied the game with Tim (winning 3 boards each). (NOTE: On Creepy Cavern, Chugga could've gotten the Coin Star if he screwed Mario over on the Fortune Space. Then Mario was guaranteed the Minigame Star. Chugga would've won with just the Coin Star at that point. Jon would've been in 2nd plus the Green Star. And Tim would've been last.) In MARIO PARTY 3, I would have loved to see Chugga and Tim tie the game (both winning 3 boards). Chugga would have won 3 boards (Chilly Waters, Creepy Cavern, and the 6th and final board Waluigi's Island), while Tim would've won the other 3 (Deep Blooper Sea, Spiny Desert, and Woody Woods). (NOTE: On Deep Blooper Sea, Tim got the only one star and shrunk the game with a Wacky Watch. He got 1 normal star and it was from a Hidden Block. And he got one normal star and the Green Star. So he won that board.) As for MARIO PARTY 4, if Tim won the one board (Goomba's Greedy Gala), Jon would've won 4 of the boards (Toad's Midway Madness, Shy Guy's Jungle Jam, Boo's Haunted Bash, and Koopa's Seaside Soiree), Tim would've won 1 (that being, Goomba's Greedy Gala), and Chugga would've won 1 (that being the last board --Bowser's Gnarly Party). Then Jon would not have done a "clean sweep".
SPOILERS: That goomba is dead to me. Tim got robbed from winning that one. I'm scared that this may have been Tim's best chance to win in Mario Party 4. I hope that's not the case.
gamerboy2003 There's quite a smal chance of that happening. With there stilll being 3 boards left, someone has to win ALL of them. If Chugga gets one then Tim get the next one, then Jon wins. AND even if they tie it, they have to beat Jon in stats. With 12 stars against 7 and 5, it's not looking so hot for the other guys.
Not to mention getting hit by the Launcher space the first 2 times he tried to see boo. I think this was Mario Party being merciful to Jon after the luck he had in Mario Party 3.
Every time you warned us in these last videos about shouting, when the actual shout was made, the volume of the commentary was lowered. However, this time around, Chugga and Tim go "OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH" out of nowhere and the volume was kept the same. Now my eardrums are bouncing all over my head. On the other hand, go Waluigi!
Jon's birthday wish was probably to win a Mario Party game completely judging by the last turn. Tim should have won but against Goomba's 9 it was asking for too much to beat him and take the win.
1:40 interesting fact, most data platforms (websites, smartphone/tablet infrastructure, etc) rely on time signatures, and since the world is so interconnected EVERYTHING accesses major databases. To stop daylight savings time would require a lot of work on behalf of basically every web developer ever, to change the time settings for their entire infrastructure. If they didn't, then things wouldn't just be "an hour off" for a while. A LOT of servers would just flat-out crash. It happened several years ago when the switchover was pushed back from October to November, and crashes happened. Things weren't as bad or noticeable because the internet was relatively young, and smartphones/tablets weren't really a thing back then. A change nowadays could actually be potentially disastrous for infrastructure that isn't properly prepared.
I feel the need to recite something about Daylight Savings time that I learned in US History this past school year. During World War 1, they were doing rations of anything that was going to be used during the war, and to save on fuel items and other things for the war, they began Daylight Savings Time which allowed the average American to have more of the day to do things around the house without needing to light a candle or turn on a lantern. Basically, after that, they forgot to make Daylight Savings Time apply only to when the country needed to ration war items. I have never appreciated it, and most of my friends have expressed a similar opinion. (Yes I know this is an old video, but you can't blame a person for binge-watching the videos of a channel they just found. I did this many times.)
And to think, Tim was given a 9 to overcome in the dice game. Something smaller and he's stealing stars and winning.
Weird seeing rabbidluigi on a TRG video.
Yeah, poor Tim. They did the dice game something like 20 times maybe? And most of the time Goomba got a low roll...

That is some strong birthday luck Jon!
So ProtonJon, the most unlucky person on the Runaway guys, managed to win opn the most luck based board, while Chuggaaconroy, the most lucky person on the team, came in last.
For Jon, this was truly a Christmas Miracle.
Daylight savings, when you gain an hour, is awesome.
When you lose an hour, it's decidedly less awesome.
Jon's still number one!
... But it's anyone's game!
ProtonJon refrence.
how is it still anyone's game? Jon has three wins in a row! The only way to stop him now is with a tie for 1st. I am calling that no matter what Jon wins this Let's play no matter what. even if I want Tim or Emile to end this in a tie with him.
I want the AI to win Bowsers Gnarly Party.
Jon has this in the bag. Unless Emile or Tim get godly lucky. Jon will easily win. Not to mention the AI is a moderate threat.
Benicthehedgehog
It's a reference to his streams, lol. Go look at the comments for the Bomberman Tournament. You'll see.
2014 is definitely the year of Waluigi for Jon.
I love daylight savings because I love it when it gets dark later. What I wish is that daylight savings time was done all year round and not just half a year.
Tim got totally screwed by that last roll.
You mean like how Chuggaa got screwed with 4 1s in a row?
Can you imagine if Jon won every board?! That would be insane! It would sure as hell make up for Mario Party 3!
more like the game is making him won every board as his present from it or have a auto win in board wins. then again, when they started this, it was Jon's birthday and the game wants to give him and Waluigi some love.
That would compensate a lot more for his shitty luck in MP3. The Karma and Birthday gods have blessed Jon and cursed Emile.
If Chuggaa keeps mentioning No More Heroes, he should consider doing a Let's Play of them.
Jesus christ, Jon is winning all of these so far...
It's funny, everyone was expecting Chugga to win, and he had good luck throughout this board but lost out at the end
Makes Sense Jon would win the Birthday themed Mario Party on his Birthday.
"Who wants to feel like it's midnight at two in the afternoon?"
Me: *slowly raises hand"
good golly.. jon is dominating
Man Jon's dominating this time! Keep it up PJ!
I looked away for a moment to look at something, and I come back to Daisy running on the board and thinking for a split second it was DK's face sliding along the path.
And that was a REALLY close game.
Mario Party 4 : The Return of ProtonJons Luck
:D
I said that since the first board, and it hasn't let him down yet XD
Princess Daisy, truly the maverick of the Mario-verse.
And Tim would've been last.)
In MARIO PARTY 3, I would have loved to see Chugga and Tim tie the game (both winning 3 boards). So he won that board.)
As for MARIO PARTY 4, if Tim won the one board (Goomba's Greedy Gala), Jon would've won 4 of the boards (Toad's Midway Madness, Shy Guy's Jungle Jam, Boo's Haunted Bash, and Koopa's Seaside Soiree), Tim would've won 1 (that being, Goomba's Greedy Gala), and Chugga would've won 1 (that being the last board --Bowser's Gnarly Party). Then Jon would not have done a "clean sweep".
Man...Tim sounds so disappointed in this...
That was a ridiculous ending. Crazy win for Jon.
The final game didn't matter but if Tim got the boo it would have been different.
SPOILERS: That goomba is dead to me. Tim got robbed from winning that one. I'm scared that this may have been Tim's best chance to win in Mario Party 4. I hope that's not the case.
the ONLY way for jon to lose is by tie
gamerboy2003 There's quite a smal chance of that happening. With there stilll being 3 boards left, someone has to win ALL of them. If Chugga gets one then Tim get the next one, then Jon wins. AND even if they tie it, they have to beat Jon in stats. With 12 stars against 7 and 5, it's not looking so hot for the other guys.

After his horrible luck in Mario Party 3, I'm glass Jon's been doing so well!
LOL I'm glad you did get back to
Explaining how you pronounced roulette. I was intrigued when you didn't finish the story
Dang if it wasn't for that Goomba team Tim would have been "VICTORIOUS"!
Dayum! That was a nail-biter of a close Mario Party 4 run.
Aw man, poor Tim. xD He came SO close this time too. If he had been able to get to Boo, he could've won too. That's the worst part.
YES! I'm part of the "First 300" club!
Ladies and gentlemen, as of now Jon can only be tied in number of board wins.
Jon winning and Chugga getting last is a wonderful game
Jon threaded the needle. After so many ruined plans, he threaded the needle. :O
