I've watched so many videos trying to explain how to make parallel turns, and this is the only one where I can actually see what the person is doing because they aren't hidden in bulky snow clothing. Thank you!

How great to have that treadmill-style slope to practise on! I got so fed up of having to go back up the short slope to practise and then only having a few seconds each time to try turns. Going to keep going though!

I learned how to snowboard watching a video from Adventure. Looks like I'll do the same with skiing. Crystal clear instruction. If only you guys were in Canada. I will definitely consider stopping by if I visit.

Your demonstration of the wedge christy turn wasn't a wedge christy. Brilliant stem christy however.
doing the plough is not an issue for me, but carving is something I`ll never understand... especially on steep inclined slopes

It isn't really needed. Concentrate on the simplicity of what he is doing. Don't try to read more into it than is there. The skis know how to turn if you do Your part.

Doubt it’s possible to carve on that, your skis are supposed to do most the work not the turning of your feet

The skis know how to turn. They require that you face down the hill and balance from foot to foot. You don't have to force them by thinking about turning with your legs. Your skis turn your feet and legs, not the other way around. If you try to force them, you will use the wrong parts of your body.
