Could the Empire's fleet at Endor invade Reach (Halo)? | Empire vs UNSC

- The Fall of Reach, as portrayed in the Fall of Reach and various other media pieces, was one of the most important moments of the UNSC Covenant war. Similarly, the Battle of Endor, as shown in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, was the defining moment of the Galactic Civil War, leading to the Rebellion's victory over the Empire.

Great vid, as always. I agree with the outcome, without any hard numbers for either side. Plus the Empire would have crushed this pitiful planet into dust for there insolent and pathetic attempt at rejecting the Emperor's gracious offer. ;)
Lol could you imagine noble 6 killing hordes of stormtroopers that would be an amazing game

Someone make that a mod
On top of everything, the covenant possessed pinpoint slip space to be able to close in out of nowhere. Something the empire did not have!
Pin point hyperspace jumps are possible, they just require a ship currently in system to relay the information to whoever is jumping in. Several Jedi Generals used this technique to great effect during the Clone Wars, and Imperial Grand Adirmal Thrawn refined it further through the use of interdiction ships.
@@addisonwelsh no ship can jump into or from the gravitational well(that's what sw call it) of a planet.
@@themanwithhighground4279 They only figured out they could do that thanks to a navigational algorithm stolen from Cortana
@@addisonwelsh dude I'm talking about Star Wars. In Halo slip space is possible from atmosphere
I know that only covenant ships can do that
Also sw ships needs hyperspace lane to make hyperspace jump, on the other hand Halo ships just need to know the location of point to make slip space.
@@themanwithhighground4279 Dude, this fight is happening in a vacuum, which means no Rebellion and no UNSC. Which means the Covvies never get Cortana’s nav algorithm, and never learn how to make jumps in atmosphere.
And blind hyperspace jumps are a thing, that’s what they did before they mapped the hyperlanes. It’s incredibly risky, but this is the Empire we’re talking about.
I think a ground engagement wouldn't have gone well for the fleet either. If i remember correctly, stormtrooper armor is designed to protect better against lasers than against slug-throwing (bullet) weapons, and the UNSC practically eats lead by the ton. I'm also inferring from when Ewoks managed to kill stormtroopers with rocks and stuff like that, but still, even if they have good protection against bullets and not just lasers, a single spartan could mop the floor with multiple standard stormtroopers considering they could take out shielded elites and rampant brutes with next to no problem. I'm mainly making guesses, the best i can, if anyone has greater knowledge or different points of view i would like to see it.
Spartans have problems with rampant brutes as well, I believe in the book The Fall of Reach, John 117 almost died from a brute. A full clip from a assault rifle doesn't stop it.
The Brute nearly chocked Chief out, a full clip to the brute's belly only managed to ticked it off.
Yeah, they are strong as hell, but I have a feeling most brutes can be outwitted by something as dumb as an ostrich. Even if they are smarter than I think, Chief is still alive and has faced worse odds later in the series, stormtroopers are practically toothpicks compared to that. It may have been a bit of a stretch to say they were no problem, as I remember wrecking rampant brutes like nothing in Halo 2, the momentum of their attacks was high enough that a timed jump could easily evade them, so I always took it they weren't the brightest.
Brutes are dumb -_-
Solomon Harvey brutes ARE dumb af, for the most part, but when you meet their leaders, such as Tartarus and Atriox... then you see why the brutes were allowed to join the Covenant...
Old Republic Hammerhead vs Rebel Hammerhead
The Old Republic Hammerhead is a Cruiser-class vessel and the Rebel variant is a Corvette-class. I'm not sure speed would win this one, and the fighters the Old Republic can field would tip the scale. Old Republic all the way.
"Over 750 warships." I think it's safe to assume that this number is false. The original number was 314. However, the 750 This stems from the Hood line in Halo 2, "The fleet that glassed Reach was 50 times this size" which would mean 15 Covenant ships multiplied by 50 would be 750. This line was only ever repeated in the comic edition and the 2010 reprint, once each time. However, the 2011 reprint brings this number back down to 314. I think it's pretty safe to assume that Hood's line was purely hyperbolic not actual literal, and the actual number was just over 300. Hopefully, Halo: Warfleet will shed some light on this.
IamCanadian3333 yeah I think an accepted interpretation of his words is that Hood was exaggerating when he saw only 2 CAS carriers
Just like how he exaggerated the "glassed half a continent," when it was more likely that it was likely just Voi and its surroundings. At most, maybe most of Kenya. Conclusion, Hood likes to exaggerate circumstances to try and make a point.
I think the initial fleet was about 300, but then the supporting fleets added up to the number said
Wasnt there a support fleet
Also remember Covenant ships had shields but we see Mac guns shred them all the time especially the Super MAC rounds from the orbital platforms
"I'm gonna take the empire with a small escort force, say they only have around 50 that I calculated of ships, and pit them against a larger number that I have calculated myself which is a defense force"
Even with those 50 ships, there are way too much variables you have missed.
Their fighters for example are far faster than hornets or any space ships they have. They have bombers that are meant for quick strikes, a small concentrated force can drop star destroyer type ships. They have interceptors that are faster than fighters. Carriers for their troops.
Star Destroyer shields should be way above covenant shields, as a single SD is capable of glassing a planet with bombarding of their primary weapons, shields can withstand hits from this. The only saving grace is that MAC cannons for UNSC may ignore the shields as we have not seen kentic weapons vs SW shields. Every shot from a SD is going to be a killing blow on UNSC heavy ships, and there is no guarantee that it's going to be the same with UNSC.
I know this video is old, but maybe look at the technological differences between the empire and the covenant, they may look the similar, but the Empire is more advanced. Look around for real numbers and not what you want to believe. I know it's your personal opinion, I don't mind that. It's my opinion that this should have been looked at deeper and shield, weapons and speed should have been calculated along with it. A bigger army does not mean victory.
Keep in mind those nuclear mines, that would thin their numbers. Also how far are they appearing? Cause SW ships have a maximum range, while a rock going a moc-12 doesn’t.
Yes fighters may overwhelm them IF they’re not destroyed by the fleets guided missiles. A star destroyer has around 72 tie fighters. And given the 50 ships were looking under 3,600 star ships. Which be a lot less after getting hit by those mines.
The empire would need a good amount more ships to win over head, then there’s the reinforcement fleet for the unsc. That would most likely keep things up in the air.
Ground forces would be in hell, stormtroopers’ armor is supposed to absorb energy blasts. Knocking them down and not killing them, well considering they getting taken down by blunt force. Bullets would tear threw them. Yes blasters could eat threw spartan’s shields but spartans are better trained and equipped.
Vehicles would be walking targets, AT-AT isn’t a war time vehicle. It’s more of a command center incase of riots. The empire’s forces are meant as “peace keepers”. While the UNSC is a armed military. And for the UNSC all I have to say is, Scorpion Tanks.
If you look at commanders the UNSC is more strict and focused. While the Empire’s command is glory seeking, naval officers try to get victory at all costs to “win the emperor’s favor” something the UNSC could and would exploit.
So I completely agree with this video, the empire doesn’t have a prayer. Even if they win naively twice, they wouldn’t have much left for a ground assault and glassing the planet would be their only option. In which spartan strike teams may even finish off.
the empire focuses on energy warfare reducing range also if a fighter can get through those shields mac rounds definitely will
Tie fighters are slow, almost half the speed of most unsc fighters
"Star Wars ships have Shields! That would have stopped the MAC guns!"
Nope. Star Destroyers have armor to deal with physical attacks but even then it is not going stop a slug the size of a car traveling at relativistic speeds, sizeable fractions of the speed of light. The Star Destroyers would be shredded pretty quickly by the MACs. Those shields have real trouble dealing with solid asteroids and being rammed by other ships and missiles.
One of the rarely invoked rules of space combat is a solid slug traveling at least 10% of light speed is nearly UNSTOPPABLE. Shields and armor mean next to nothing.
With their already limited numbers so depleted by the planet's defenses, the Empire would stand no chance of taking Reach (forever beyond their grasp). Stormtroopers would be little more than cannon fodder for the Spartans. Like sicking Astartes (almost exactly like) on Imperial Guardsmen.
Size of a car? my son... a MAC projectile is like the size of a tractor trailer.
A slug from an Orbital Defense Platform is probably around the size of a house.
Okay. If I said 'The size of a bus" would than work too? But I think you are thinking Super MAC. I would think a most UNSC ships fire "lower" caliber rounds.
Either way, HUGE slugs fired at relativistic speeds.
Xyro,
My Bad, Just looked it up at
halo.wikia.com/wiki/Magnetic_Accelerator_Cannon
"Ammunition
A standard ship-based MAC fires slugs of either ferric Tungsten or depleted Uranium and approximately 9.1 meters long at around 30,000 meters per second.[2] The high muzzle speed gives the 600-ton slug the kinetic energy and momentum necessary to damage a target and partially mitigates the unguided nature of the slug and its lack of maneuverability. Orbital Defense Platforms fire a 3,000-ton slug at four-hundredths, or 4% of,[3] the speed of light, around 12,000 kilometers per second."
DocWolph you are soo incorrect, a executor class star destroyer was able to resist three star destroyers at light speed crash into it and it's shields didn't go down

MC80a star cruiser vs Secutor class star destroyer please
First mistake... There were multiple Spartan Teams, both S2s and S3s.
well how to solve every problem- Eclipse just ramming the fleet...
um yeah what about the smart AI? i mean a single astromech pretty much slaughtered a star destroyer on its own whats stopping a smart AI from just slicing in and disabling all the imperial ships? especially if its escorted on to once by a spartan team. honestly the biggest problem with the empires fleet is its doctrine as none of their commanders could adapt ,with the exception of thrawn of course, to an enemy that used their own tactics against them. also remember the UNSC is really good at reverse engineering and enhancing tech they get a hold of, imagine if they got even one fully functional star destroyer and managed to figure out its shields. you now have a very large fleet with shields and mac guns and turbo lasers.
Because the empire even codes it computers with auberesh writting. A language unheard of in halo
@@gabrielherman3004 while that is a factor it really only buys time until a top ai like one of the several based off hallsey get in.
Might stop some of the less advanced halo ai though
One super mac round would pretty much shatter a star destroyer from a range that far exceeds the star destroyers effective range. The also aren't very maneuverable, so unless they light speed right onto the doorstep (only to get shredded by mac fire regardless) They'd never get close enough to launch a shot or deploy a fighter with enough fuel to make it to the planet.
Even the super star destroyer would likely be crippled beyond any usefulness by one good Super mac hit.
Star Killer Base vs The Sprite of Fire (Halo Wars 1&2) (5th attempt)

I agree with the outcome, though I'd think an Imperial force of the same size as the Covenants would be a fair match to see what the difference would be. In my humble opinion, Covenant ships are slightly stronger than Imperial, but Imperial still mop the floor against UNSC ships.

Death Star shows up reach is dead
Chill Trooper the Death Star is designed to absorb damage from energy based weapons. MAC defense platforms would very quickly turn it into Swiss cheese at any range. Even if the Empire gets on the ground, the Spartans would proceed to make short work of the ground forces.
The empire wouldnt be so stupid, honestly. If they wanted to exterminate, theyd just base delta zero with their star deatroyers, or use the death star 2 to blast the planet. If they intended to keep the planet, theyd orbitally bombard the shit out of military targets and then send ground troops. The only reason they didnt bombard Hoth from orbit was because of the shield generator and ion cannon around the rebel base, and the whole ground mission was to take them out. I could see the empire throwing waves of TIEs at the orbital MAC cannons, and basically plowing through the ships like so much debris because the UNSC ships are pretty tiny compared to an ISD, and totally unshielded. A MAC round may do some damage to an ISD, but they are massive and their shields are seen in the movies tanking asteroid hits (which hit harder than a MAC round)... So id give this one to the empire, unless their commanders were actively being stupid. I dont think even the Covenant could stand up to the full might of the empire, but theyd stand a much better chance than the UNSC. Though, i do like the comments about an alliance against the Covenant. That is something Palpatine would do, and use it to further his own plans for control.
SPARTANs could hold their own for quite a while, but do trust me that they wouldn't be immune to the ground forces of the empire. Blasters (which shoot plasma) like the E-11 Blaster Rifle will literally eat through the SPARTANs shielding if they are not careful. Or if the Death Star has an auto fire. It's a real possibility for a mutual kill. Since the composer only affects the crew not the station itself.
In hindsight since the Composer took at least half an hour to compose a city and the Death Star is the size of a moon. The DS can probably fire before all crew are dead.

The Covenant invasion fleet was at least twice the size of the Imperial Endor fleet so since the UNSC destroyed about half their fleet then it’s safe to say the UNSC would win the fight. Regret’s Earth “invasion” fleet was like 2 ships or something in HALO 2 and Lord Hood says “Something isn’t right, the fleet that destroyed Reach was 50 times this size.” 50 X 2 = 100 the imperial fleet at Endor is 50 ships half of the 100+ ships the Covenant had.

Jay let's see, force doesn't work on Spartans as they aren't from the SW universe and we've seen with the yuzan vong who were broken from the force you can't directly attack them with it. Lightsabers can't deflect regular projectiles and cause shrapnel damage if connecting with a saber, and chief fought the diadect which was basically a Halo version of Vader force and all.
Darth Vader can take out all the Spartans, he has done it before using the force, he killed thousands of rebels in one of the comics using the force and blocked all incoming bullets and missiles using the force
NinjaTyler The force can work on Spartans because the force is manipulating physical objects, so you don’t make sense in that point

@Bailey Masters Considering that’s Post-War tech that is extremely unfair you do know that the Infinity is outfitted with Human/Covenant/Forerunner hybrid technology.
This bad boy is literally the most advanced ship the UNSC has and is the most advanced ship in Haloverse at the current time period, and damn it’s size 🤣 it’s 5,600 meters approximately, a Imperial Class star destroy is around 1,600 meters.

Personally, I suspect the Flood can influence digital and electronic devices, as well as influencing Artifical Intelligences, especially if it is in close proximity. cis fleet that attacked coruscant vs 12 colonies of cobol
chaszczek old or new
Jamarian Travis i was thinking new becouse from what i know of orginall bsg at peak fleet numbers they only got 12 battlestars
The Old would stand better than the New.
The CIS fleet would crush the new fleet in seconds, the CIS could simply switch to particle shields and tank all the missile and projectile fire displayed by the railguns and launch tubes while the armor of the new Battlestar fleet would be burned when the plasma of the turbolasers hits it, causing decompression and ignite the air still inside the battlestars, with absolutely NOTHING Adar (new) can do but watch his fleet burn.
The TOS colonies would hold up better than new BSG against the CIS fleet. They have laser (plasma?) weaponry that would prove a match for star wars Turbolaser tech, and they could have an additional number of battlestars that are not mentioned which they can use against the fleet.

The entire empire would be turned to the imperium's side when they see the BEAUTIFUL hair of the god Emperor in comparison to the Star wars Emperor
Surplus marsbars yes
The Empire will lose to any force in Halo have you seen the Storm Troopers aim? Wtf are they shooting at? The UNSC can finish the whole empire in under a year. And the Empire has no chance against the flood if the ForeRunners couldn't even have won the war then the Empire has no chance
I think that the UNSC would win most of the battles but lose a war with the Empire. They are just too big in numbers compared to the UNSC.
Plus troopers were told to miss their shots so they could track the rebels to their base, not to mention trooper helmets had thermal imagin, a HUD, and a basic targeting system

Covenant invasion fleet that attacked Reach (Fleet of Particular Justice and Fleet of Valiant Prudence) VS the Imperial or Republic defense fleet for Coruscant

The imperiel army and the space marines (warhammer 40k) vs the empire time of the 1. Death star.
Well the starwars empire is about 10 times the size of the imperium of man in warhammer and the imperium has been in a steady decline for the last 10 000 years. So I'd lean towards the starwars empire winning this one. The imperium of man is definitely waaayyy stronger in a ground engagement but actually about even in space (strength wise) but has less ships than the starwars empire. and I think (not sure) the empiruim of man has lost a lot of the technologie to make more ships or they just cant make the really big one anymore so that's another huge disadvantage. The battle would be more even if this took place before the horus heresy thought.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
jamie C ikr, the imperium of men wins this.
10 times the size? The Imperium of Man is pretty close to owning the entire Milky Way, it's not far off from the GE's territory.
I checked and the imperium of man has 1 million planets and the empire in starwars has over 50 million planets. So actually I was wrong the starwars empire is 50 times bigger not 10. With even numbers yes the imperium of man is stronger. But the emprium of man in 40k era is stagnated and weakened. Before horus heresy then yes the imperium of man would probly win like 9 times out 10. In 40k era though the imperal fleet would likely overwhelm the imperium with sheer numbers.
Do High charity vs the Death star, both with their normal escort of capital ships and fighters (btw the main covenant fighters are seraphs not banshees)
Retribution class battleship from wh40k vs executor class Dreadnought with highest calcs
Retrebution gets one shoted.
Pechenegus no a rebutituion has low tertons of firepower the excautor whould get fucked
In your dreams.
They use Canons (!) with
explosives inside shells (!!) and reload time about 30 min (!!!).
Even Victory 1 class star destroyer will be able to defeat that thing.
It is like comparing black powder bombarda and modern tank canon.
Black powder canon can be ten times bigger, but it is no match for modern canon.
executor with ease.
There was actually 3 other Spartan III teams on reach like Noble Team. Red, Gauntlet, and another unnamed team. As well as most of the Spartan II being recalled to the planet to defend the generators at first record of trouble.
Don't mess with the UNSC!! 😜
That's funny.
The Yuzzhan Vong would beat the UNSC
@White boi Couldn't have said it better well said my friend fact Rome went on to conquer Egypt.
@@justchilling704 It was greek egypt tho, totally different tech. Plus they didn't simply conquer it, it a complicated story that includes a roman civil war
@White boi Are you kidding me ? He think a blaster is better than a rifle and thought a star destroyer could win against the infinity. THE. INFINITY.
Replicators (SG1 or SGA) vs Empire/CIS/Republic/Rebels/Flood or anyone else, or even all of them
The Flood might be able to win if they have a galaxy of organics to consume. Enough Graveminds and Keyminds could infect the Replicators with the logic plague.
The flood can infect technology, really only way to kill off the flood is to over whelm it (if that is possible) or kill its food source. If I remember tho replicators do replicate pretty quickly and they adapt to enemy weapons, so if might be even match up. However, as a halo fan boy, I have to side with flood :D
Replicators from SGA sucks
Lord Anubis Seriusly? They are a intelligent biological weapon, the only way to kill them is to make them collapse.
cren189 replicators don't "adapt" to energy weapons, they are immune to energy weapons, and the sole desire of the replicators from SG1 is to consume, learn, replicate, repeat. Think Brainiac from DC but quite possibly worse.
"The shields could stop a mac round"
Guys. . .the shields couldn't even stop fighter's crashing into the ship, a mac round would turn the ship into a doughnut
i like star wars but most of their tech is geared to fight energy. they could probably handle the covenant easier than the UNSC
Actually you are wrong on that, the executor was destroyed after having a few hours of being pelted with turbolasers, and was destroyed by the last intercepter in that squad. Plus they were able to handle kinetic energy due to their navigation feilds. In fact i calculated that a normal impirial 2 class star destroyers kinetic sheilding had a breaking point of about 3600 megatons
@@gabrielherman3004 lol the mac round weigh 3000 tonnes and it goes 10 percentage of light speed try catch that and a 19 km ship will get its cheeks ramed by the unsc infinity alone
Now which MAC rounds are you talking about? The standard slug round has a chance at breaking through the sheilds, HOWEVER since the empire is attacking, its more than likely that a standard MAC round will only strain the ship as the star destroyers would set most of their sheild power to the front and to the top of the star destroyers, now a orbital defense platform could easily destroy and pass through a ISD and could even destroy another ISD, so i would say that they could destroy a large portion of the imperial fleet before they are targeted by the ISD's and a portion of the empires 3600 TIE fighters, interceptors, and bombers, as well as the executors added few thousand. Now on to the executor vs MAC rounds. 1st off, the standard MAC cannons won't do jack shit to the executors sheilds because the executor was built to dish out more fire power than half of the imperial navy and take just as much, the orbital defense cannons would be the only effective way to destroy it, more than likely by targeting the back side of the ship to disable it and the use bombers and frigates to destroy the rest of the executor.
The Empire vs the covenant
I think The Empire ships have more weapons so there for more fire power so depending on The Covenants shields The Empire would win a space Battle ask for ground I think the AT-AT Walkers are there only hope really.
The Immortal Super Being watch his scarab vs At-At. No hope
yeah but the accepted numbers of ships that the Covenant had was around 100,000 to 999,999, it has yet to be determined, but they had at least a few thousand ships that were destroyed by the UNSC soo they had at least 10,000 warships
+Conner Ambrose I don't think a planet destroying weapon can be called useless and The UNSC held up against the Covenant and The Empire is vastly superior to The UNSC so I believe they would hold there own very well and ask for the AT-AT the scarab will have to get close to the AT-AT and thanks to the lasers the Scarab would be destroyed.
+Conner Ambrose The Empire has always had shields so there shields would be stronger plus the Turbo laser are Stronger then most of the weapons the UNSC have the only weapon they have to hold off The Empire are there Macs ( I would say the Turbo lasers are as powerful as Rapid fire Rail Guns not Nukes ) and The Empire ships are faster.
When the Empire rose, it did so with the promise of peace. Two decades of oppression showed the people of the galaxy that their statement of peace was a lie.
So it is no surprise that when a new faction, these Earthling or Terran to some, came out of the unknown regions it was unclear how the empire, after proving just how violent it could be, would respond.
That was answered when the first world that was discovered by the empire was reduced to glass as a show of force in the hopes that it would "convince" them to surrender.
It did not have the desired effect. Form the depths of their controlled space came hundreds of ships each using old barbaric technology so massive that its size made even the most powerful Imperial weapons seem small in comparison, as well as an invention that allowed them to traverse the galaxy without the need for hyperspace lanes.
For the first time since its early history the known galaxy was witnessed to a scale of war unseen in over one hundred thousand years.
Yet for all their tactical advantages, the Terran's were forced slowly, little by little back into their regions.
Then it changed. The tide of the war stalled. The empire soon found planets so heavily defended and its defenders so dug in, that taking them required outnumbering the Terran's nearly twenty to one. Hundreds of ships were called from patrols and other missions just to be destroyed by a wall of missile , Storm Trooper recruits, fresh from training were thrown at them on the ground only to die in droves as the armor proved ineffective against the type of weapons used by their armies, and in the skies and space, tie pilots were open with their desire to fight against Rebel pilots instead of the nearly unstoppable monsters who attacked from ranges too far away for any imperial pilot to fight against effectively.
The war had turned into a blood bath.
And slowly, as the Terran's developed better engines and shields, they began to strike back, targeting the Empire's manufacturing capabilities and trade centers, unleashing a weapon so horrid that it caused wide spread riots and protests to erupt against the Empire calling to end the war. the Terran's called them NOVAs.
Those who saw them in action called them death.
Entire worlds were obliterated in mere moments. And when the Empire unleashed its own weapon against them in an attempt to force them into submission, it was destroyed.
slowly the Terran's invisible fleets ripped though the empire, targeting lightly defended hubs and obliterating them from existence.
And what started as a quick an easy victory for the empire, turned into its death tones as instability and war caused it to fracture. And nothing, not even the emperor or his minion could stop its collapse.
This is EXACTLY what would happen! Basically the UNSC VS EMPIRE war instead of the Covenant, who is discovered later after the techboon of the Terran humans.
Also I think even Luke Skywalker, Yoda, and other force sensitives would feel the disturbance in the force from the crys for war from billions all at once, with such vigor and ferocity that hasn't been seen in thousands of years in the Galaxy.
BC-304 Odyssey (Stargate, Post-Unending, Pre-Ark of Truth) vs Imperial-II Star Destroyer.
Found this video, my ears are complaining about how different this guy's voice is compared to now.
"ram reach out of existance"
Would love to see that lmao
Reach would easily take out the endor fleet, and if the empire decided to bring in the rest of their fleet they 'might' (and I stress that a lot) take the planet. However, it would be completely unsustainable losses. Main reason? After the initial battle the unsc would being in more of their own ships and reset the nuke mine field. The sheer arrogance of imperial admirals would make them brazen and come out of lightspeed inside the kill zone of mac guns. If even one orbital platform survived the initial battle it would cut down any of the super ssd's in a matter of moments. Remember that a orbital mac has enough force to go through the moon. (on full power) Also, a thing to remember is that when they claim so many 'naval assets' that is divided among fighters, frigats, destroyers, battleships, transports, etc. Start crunching the numbers and you will find that the empire doesn't have as many large ships as you would think.
They'd easily take Reach with their entire fleet, it would be no contest with that overwhelming number of ships. The Empire has more ISD-Is than the UNSC has ships.
All the major rebels feels from the movie's and show vs the ark in halo three.

This is actually a great idea. I'm not sure the Combine could win just because they seem to lack any space vehicles, but then again he could just make the match-up ground only.

Coruscant fleet
What if the covenant fleet that invaded reach invaded corisant (definitely spelt wrong) with a empire fleet not a new republic or republic fleet
im going to steal that idea and word it better in a new commet
+Alexiel Black Thats just mean.
Alexiel Black Comment you mean. Already off to a great start.
Darksupernova well it would be easier for the covenant due to slipspace. Which has catastrophic effects in orbit. Slipspace past the shields. (Which would be difficult but with this method able to be done)

The Empire VS. The Klingons or The Empire vs. the Terran Empire from Star Trek.
Phalanx Destroyer Vs. Allegiance Star Destroyer
The entire galactic empire vs the forerunners. Both massive forces. I'm probably gonna go with the Forerunners primarily for its super structures and last resort ability. The activation of the rings. But this would be awesome to hear from Eckartladder. I hope I spelled his name right
Forerunner steamroll the empire. Their technology is just vastly superior.
Forerunners build planets for fun (shield worlds), are biologically immortal, build extra Galactic super structures (the ark is outside the galaxy as stated by spark).
The reason why Promethean Knights seem weak is because they were a desperate attempt after most forerunners has been killed by humans and the flood. Actual forerunner warriors were more like the didact but they ALSO have an AI that's really on par with Cortana and access to unlimited knowledge (I can't remember what is called).
Then they have their total military directed by 2 super AIs.
