I have seen so many builds, but this one is well thought out and perfect. I would probably just have a Keurig and a wine 🍷 rack. 😂We all have to prioritize🤣
Thanq for the video, I REALLY, REALLY love your fridge freezer. The children's bunk area is fantastic. I love the cubes at bottom of the master bed. Your bathroom is great, in fact your whole home on wheels is great. Stay safe on your travels.
You guys are so cool- I love that your vision went through so many transitions. Also, that coffee set-up is PERFECT and she deserves coffee in bed EVERY morning! Awesome future ahead of your guys! Happy Trails!
Gorgeous renovation, best airstream reno that I have seen. I would have done something different with the bed in the lounge, perhaps a murphy bed or used that space for the kids and their space for the adults. Just seems to be lacking floor space and an actual lounge would be nice.
Fabulous well thought out gorgeous build. Very inspiring just wish we were younger to do on the road . We do go in our teardrop camper so it’s a great option. Can’t wait to see your course of how you design. It’ll help us as well. Thank you so much
I LOVE what you did with your Airstream! I work at Airstream currently and have been with them since 2004. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work there and to see what so many people do with their Airstreams!!
My late husband Karl and I lived in a 1963 Airstream travel trailer for 5 years. I wish we could have remodeled it. It would have been nice. I live in a tiny àpartment now, and I miss trailer life. I'm glad that it's working for you. Any suggestions on getting a trailer that I can renovate?
Perhaps too simple a solution for your plague of fruit flies: bowl with vinegar (and maybe some fruit?), and just a drop of liquid dish soap; the vinegar attracts them, whilst the soap makes the fruit flies drown. Great setup!
This has worked well for me. I use cider vinegar, shallow containers and a bit of sugar. The soap breaks the surface tension of the water and the extra bit of sugar seems to speed up the action. I had the small jelly size canning jars on hand and found that filling them a bit less than half full was plenty of liquid. They’re stable and less likely to be knocked over than other containers I had. I’d put 2-3 containers at different heights in your bathroom to see if height makes a difference. For some reason, it did in our bathrooms. Change the containers as needed. I hope this helps.
I am in the middle of the battle with fruit flies for two weeks now (started with forgotten grapes) and vinegar + dish soap unfortunately doesn't work heh.
Fruit fly problem can be solved by plugging in ZEVO traps in bathroom and kitchen. They will be attracted to the lights. A bad infestation will require that you give it time to resolve and remove waste probably daily until controlled. You may additionally purchase some of those sticky ribbons to hang temporarily in bathroom and near kitchen sink and even use those standup sticky wands. Leave nothing for them to eat in kitchen. You may also need to pore a few cups of boiled water with just a capful of bleach down sink drains occasionally. Lastly for faster results, keep windows covered to darken interior of your place and use more of the ZEVOS throughout. That will kill them faster. Getting rid of them will be a real job if it’s bad. This will work if you are determined enough. Good luck.
Love this! Amazing job. Love the colors, that mountain is cool. That deal was amazing! My daughter and her b.f. were trying to buy his grandpa's r.v., but they wanted $3000 or more, and it has water damage, bad roof..has had rats in it. 😢
Ooh! Hard choice between those two--this Airstream is definitely a beauty, and it's nice to have a car separate from your house. Lots to consider--can't wait to see what you decide. 🤗
This is a really nice and thought out build. I really enjoyed watching this video.. I was just wondering in regards to the bunkbeds for the kids. Is it possible to cut out a window for the top bunk? It would be so cool to lay in bed and look up at the stars and the clouds.
wonderful life-style. You are the brave one's. This is a life choice that could apply, for many people. Wish you a steady place , too. No problem if that is on your trailer! But ,what you accomplished is still not for everyone. I'm sure the cost was huge.
Nice how did you do the click up table please? What hardware did you use please? 😊 we are going to sell our 38 3 slide Damond Intruder 375 like to go into a toyhauler not to haul tours but fir the balcony.
One question though about the not having a separate bedroom point near the end- how would you manage as a couple to be intimate without your kids hearing it? Or possibly seeing it if one needs a trip to the loo at night. Not trying to be rude or crass literally just wondering.
I really love this build, and as I’m looking by into doing Vanlife myself as well, I have been looking into building it super low tech, low electricity to keep the emf radiation levels low considering living in a tin can. I’m wondering how good for health all these electrics are - especially so many under the bed (the solar inverter being a huge magnetic field generator). Growing up, I’ve always learned you don’t want to live underneath an electricity pylon, and living in a tin can trapped with so many electrical fields I cannot imagine it’s good for the body. Have you ever measured the emf radiation levels?
Impressive build, and so much storage 😁 You can live tiny and still have space for the luxuries in life like that coffee station
Beautiful family +a great build, I also like coffee, it’s one of my liquid comforts.😊☕️☕️😊.
This is one of the best RV layouts I’ve ever seen! Great job! Great storage!
Beautiful Blessing Darlings..🎉🦋😎✌🏻🥳

Thank you! That’s an amazing compliment
Love what you did with it and all of your storage.
Happy trails.

I prayed for this one, and God made it happen for us!

Great build! You can tell they really knew what they wanted and needed. The kitchen and all the appliances and extras is very impressive!!!
Ingenious...Clever...Lovely... and most likely smells yummy when the cook is in her kitchen😊
That it does!
Awesome home.
Making the most of a hard situation and maybe finding an even better life!
Absolutely gorgeous. But then how could it be anything else. I’ve seen you do fantastic work for other RUclipsr’s.
Thank you so much!
It’s perfect! I love everything about it. Great job!
This is probably the best airstream I've seen ever. Well done.
Wow! Thank you!!!
Very neat. Very slick. Congrats
Beautiful home, excellent job!

I thought I was definitely leaning towards a Schoolie, but your Airstream is Gorgeous!! I love your wallpaper- beautiful build ❤

You did a great job converting the Air Stream.
Very impressive renovation! Such smart use of space and nicely done.
Thank you!

Yes! We have to get a window made and we have thought about that!
Okay wow this looks so good!😮😮😮
Thank you!
I really like how they put their children first: more privacy for them
It is so important to us that they have a great memorable childhood where they feel loved and important
Beautiful and clever🎉
I‘m fancinated by airstream these days
You all designed a beautiful home. I love the yellow in your kitchen.
Thank you!

It wasn’t too bad- when doing all of the work ourselves. If we were to build this out for a client it would be $80-100k
Beautiful space!
Lindsay and Stewart! I know them from Nate and Marissa/Less Junk More Journey! 😊
🎉🎉 yay!!! They’re some of our best friends!
Very well done👍
Very nice!
You did a absolutely beautiful job.
Thank you
Love it! ❤️
I'm interested in that renovation course. I'll be following their socials.
Thank you they will be out soon!
LOVE it! 👍
Beautiful home🎉
Awesome
Stunning!
Could you share more details about the white projector? Maybe a link?
REALLY BEAUTIFUL 💖👍🏼👍🏼 Good Job You Guys 🥰🪶
I’m sorry I’d Love to BUT I don’t know how to do that ?? Can you explain it to me??
Love your Airstream.
Wow! Thank you!!!
Where can I find that awesome projector
Nice how did you do the click up table please? What hardware did you use please?

Did you put in an all in one washer/drier?
Did you have one in your 5th wheel?
Do you mind doing laundry mats
We had one in our previous RV but don’t have one now. I don’t mind laundry mats most of the time
is there a link for the mini greenhouse thing?
Unfortunately no- it’s a discontinued item
One question though about the not having a separate bedroom point near the end- how would you manage as a couple to be intimate without your kids hearing it? Or possibly seeing it if one needs a trip to the loo at night. Not trying to be rude or crass literally just wondering.
There are curtains and sound machines!
That’s a good question- and one we get asked often. We have to be creative.
Your home is very cute…love your coffee machine…but don’t refer to your little home as a “rig” that sounds like a cattle truck. Interesting video!
Cool
Get a bug zapper for the fruit fleas.
How much cost anything build ?
very nice build, how do you and your husband have some privcy?
We get creative with our time and we have curtains
I wondered the same thing as soon as I saw the build.

No- and I’m glad you brought this up. We are currently changing some things like using faraday fabric to cover the batteries/ inverter
😍😮😮
Put out some apple cider vinegar for the fruit flies. They'll kill themselves getting into it.
CAnt remember seeing an AIRSTREAM FOR A FAMILY.
That’s why we had to build our own 😂
1,000 bucks for a airstream I wish
It was definitely a great deal 🎉 but it was also a GREAT deal of work! 😊
@@livingsmalldreamingbig it's absolutely gorgeous
Thank you 😊
Very nice but a family of 4 in a camper seems like hell on wheels..
Not at all! We all love being outside and exploring!
