This actually looks like a home (albeit a small one). Most air stream renos I've seen don't look liveable for long term but this one is so cute & homey & comfortable looking

Very nicely done. Lots of thought went into making this Airstream work for them and their lifestyle while accommodating their pets. All 5 of them seem supremely satisfied. I wish them all lots of continued happiness and contentment.

I have three cats I'm home all day so I'm constantly scooping I can tell you I wouldn't want the litter box under my bed.

We have a tiny german shepherd mobile security system..the only downside, she's banging out loaves all day long. Under the bed is out of the question. 😆

Try using Feline Pine litter. No smell for double the time; just remove the solids. I hope you have a few litter boxes available, will reduce mess and stress!❣️
All I could think was “wow” the whole time I watched this video. What an incredible airstream conversion guys! 😚 - I absolutely love how much thought went into making sure your cats were happy and comfortable on the road - particularly for the fact that they have their own space/s too. You’re great pet parents! 🐈

Cat litter for 3 cats under bed doesn’t smell?
Nope. The bed platform actually helps contain any smells and we do clean it in the mornings and in the evenings.
I have 3 cats, too. I just clean it often and it doesn't smell.
IMPOSSIBLE!!!! Cat owners seem to loose their sense of smell... :'(
If your litter smells you're either not cleaning it properly or you need a different kind of litter.
It's easy to keep a litter box from smelling ^_^ Make sure you clean it once or twice per day (depending on how many cats you have), and use quality litter and baking soda.

My daughter-in-law does most of the family vehicle driving, I think it’s cool. Hubs does it for us because when we first married on any trip within a hour I was sleeping. I had to force myself to stay awake when I started driving the kids to visit grandparents 9hrs away.

awesome sweet video... so much good info!!! i love airstreams, they are my ultimate favorite.... we are full timers as well but we bought a Vanleigh Vilano, cause of the storage issues with the airstream. i love your mods, amazing!!! i love your cats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ..... so cute!!!
enjoy your travels guys.... i also enjoyed the eye contact you have as a couple, that is priceless and makes life easier and enjoyable. ohhh... almost forgot, i also do the driving since i loooooooove driving... we have a 43' RV plus a long bed dually truck and so far so good. We would never go back to owning a house again after been able to take our home everywhere we go. The sky is the limit. Thanks for sharing!!!!
Where are the wall planters from. They are perfect for travel.
I like the look of it, actual life going on. I was alarmed by the large battery pack under the bed. Is that safe? is there air circulation for them? I don't know, am actually asking.
HI Carla - These batteries are Lithium so they do not require venting. We confirmed with the manufacturer about the safety of them being under the bed and they confirmed it was completely fine.These batteries are regularly used in tiny spaces like RVS, Boats and Vans and are often placed under beds.
@@DuelingJourneys that's the thing that I've seen RV/bus converted tiny homes put the electrical stuff underneath the bed. Bad Fengshui is one thing. idk, any possibility all that electrical currents could eventually transform you into a zombie? and cat poo underneath the bed? not so much. The rest is almost perfect (subject to personal taste)

You go girl. She drives the rig and crushes it. I LOVE IT! I took a trip a few weeks ago. My husband took me to the campground, and due to scheduling I had to bring it back. I told my neighbor I was driving it home and she didn't believe me until she saw ME pull in with the rig!! I love what you have done inside. Very cool for sure.
Keeping most of it white really gives it an open feeling. You have done a really nice job. Enjoy your travel journey.

Girl, I was so happy when I heard you were driving, I’m retired from driving a semi truck 🚛 (and I love 🧘♀️ yoga too) not to many of us out there.
These is pure luxary,that is not cheap.All together,with the truck you are looking at guessing over one hundred thousand dollars.Like the layout of the trailer,it helps when you have lots of money to live these way on the road.Not saying anything bad,i can myself relate to someone in a much less of a setup.Hope the best for them in there travels.To tiny house host,and subscribers.Stay safe and lets hope for Peace in the world.✌🌍

Although the airstream was beautiful to begin with, all of the personal touches make it look like a home versus a hotel suite on wheels.Such a great idea to remove the corner piece of the couch. Makes the space appear so much bigger.

I have a theory about people who "dislike" fabulous videos like this. It's the same 100 or so people who just like to "dislike". They don't actually watch the videos, they just "dislike" the video Val & Josh have a beautiful life together with their wonderful cats. Well-done & I'm envious!!
Most of them are judgey people who hate what they think is not for them as if their taste is a universal standard.
They annoy me to no end sometimes.

They did a beautiful job. The home is gorgeous and extremely functional. I just love that they took their fur babies with them, and the plants it goes a long way to make it feel like home. I am 68 and wish I could live an airstream. My husband can't be convinced.Again good job.
What a gorgeous home you have made for yourself. It must feel like a dream to travel wherever or whenever you want. All of that great stuff aside I must say I have never seen such a lovely couple. You seem to be made for each other and then top off your family with 3 feline kids, wow how awesome. I hope you enjoy your journey and make beautiful memories.

The only problem I have with this tour is that is the worst place to put a litter box. Under your bed. While you sleep, the cats go to the bathroom and wakes you up. Horrible place for a litter box.
This is for josh and Val....Hello, first I want to say what a beautiful home you have. You two have done a great job fixing it up the way you wanted it to be. I’m so happy for you guys to be able to live this kind of life. This has always been a dream of mine to travel and see our country. But unfortunately I’m now single and living from payday to payday. No savings to buy something to travel in. Plus I need to be home for my daughter that was in a terrible car accident when she was 17 and now in a wheelchair. She is now 29 and married but was able to have a baby , and needs help with my granddaughter. I worked my whole life , took care of my parents (Which are now gone). Then it was my time for me, but things kept getting in the way for me. My divorce didn’t help any. So now I live in a single wide mobile home and help my daughter and grandbaby. So keep up what you’re doing and I will live through you guys. Thank you so much for sharing and traveling on the road. And your kitty cats are cute, They look really happy and so do you guys.❤️this is lady from California 😘✌🏼 there is still hope for me someday ☺️🚌 my granddaughter will grow and be easier for my daughter. I’m 56 retired early for health issues, but I’m still dreaming. 🏕🏔🛶🧘🏻🌍🍷and relax. ( me time) 🤞🏼
I love that Val does all the driving and that they have cats. 😅 The changes they made to the airstream makes it 100 times better. I travel solo full-time with my kitty and I'm currently making changes to my RV (not an Airstream). Happy travels!
Being a felineophile with 3 cats,I love that this couple made sure their pusscats are supremely comfortable in the Airstream. I think this is the best renovation of an Airstream I've seen. It doesn't feel like a trailer inside, but a home. All the greenery filled my heart, the light open spaces inside were fantastic. A Lagun table has been a gamechanger for so many nomads, since flexibility is what you need in smaller surroundings. The Ikea and neutral vibes just add so much to the space without cluttering your mind. I wish this couple years of serenity and good experiences on the road. Videos like this make me want to travel all over the US - a country blessed with so much fabulous scenery and sunshine which makes solar a no-brainer 😆

I'm used to having outdoor-indoor cats in New Zealand, but I know in the States it's more common for cats to stay indoors. Do your cats ever go outside, say when you're parked in an isolated place?
When driving, do the cats ride in the truck or the trailer? I have two cats, and I've always been curious how that works. Do they need any calming meds for road sickness? Thanks!
We live in a converted shuttle bus with 5 dogs and 3 cats and they love it. We own an acre of land so they have plenty of room to run and play and we all live very comfortably in our bus and when we travel they can all come with us because they are always home.
Love watching these but I always wonder, where they will put the kids if they have any in future

This is a beautiful Airstream , I would hope for $52,000 they would be able to start with something decent and they have. What I'm going to write next may make me sound like a bitter You Know What but I bought an inexpensive camper two years ago worked on it by myself until I got injured last year. I then tried to hire a handyperson to work on the camper and all I got were a bunch of troublemakers. And that maybe because I can't afford a lot. So I have a camper that is partially demolished internally and sitting in the driveway. A week ago I started a new search for a handy man I got two responses and neither one is viable I'm not quite sure how I'm ever going to be able to fulfill my dream of mobile tiny house living when I can't even find somebody to fix the camper.
This isn't supposed to be a Pity Me comment I'm just bewildered at how people can afford $52,000 for an Airstream and then more money to fix it I don't have that kind of money

Well they obviously worked longer, maybe saved a lot more money and Vals touches inside for $3,000 were amazing and beautifully creative, do you have a partner?, that can make all the difference financially wise and they both still work so income is still coming in.Put your thinking hat on and think outside the box, ask around, put up signs.DON'T GIVE UP TOO EASILY, YOU TOO CAN HAVE YOUR DREAM.GOOD LUCK MATE.CHEERS FROM AUSTRALIA.

That's one of the reasons I bought the camper was to leave because I can't find a suitable one. I'm a hippie amongst khakis. My 18-year-old grandson bought a similar record player about 2 years ago and has been purchasing records ever since. Classic Johnny Cash, Fleetwood Mac, Beatles, Dylan, Beach Boys, etc. I’m 67 years old and it had given us another interest to bond over. Record players are making a comeback! People are realizing the quality of vinyl! 😎✌🏻🤙🏻🤘🏻😎
