    A few key points:
    - Try to pull the glue off of the rubber where you can, avoid rubbing unless absolutely necessary.
    - The more layers of glue you apply to the sponge, the easier the removal of the glue layer will be later.
    - Tear Mender is the cheapest and easiest to obtain, but most elastic water-based glues will work for this technique.

Wow, I gave this a try and what a relief. I now have a method to remove the glue from my rubbers. Works great so far, thank you so much for posting this.

This works really well. Saved my d09c. I bought the same brand glue mentioned in the video on Amazon (6oz/117 ml for 11 dollars) I have to apply two layers, apply generously don’t be cheap. One layer is fine, but it breaks when you peel. Two layers, thick enough to peel without breaking and easier to find a starting point. I used half bottle for the blade and its two sides of rubber.

Very useful video. Thank you so much.

I screwed up a previous glueing, so i wanted to start over. This saved me from throwing the rubber away. Thank you!

I wondered if that would work; glad I found this video. Another way is to use an old golf ball, after removing the white plastic coating; this leaves a ball of rubber band which will let you roll all the old glue off in minutes.

Brilliant. Do you use that same glue to glue your rubber onto racket?

Steven. What glue did you use to glue the rubber to the blade in the first place?

Careful not to use heat from hair dryer. Use only cold air. Heat will burst the air pockets inside the sponge. You will miss every shot after that.

Tear mender is just an adhesive right? Could I use any other adhesive or do I need Tear Mender ?

Can u use tear mender to glue new rubbers on new blade. No varnish on blade. Iz tear mender is alternative of rubber glue or you all just uae it to romove old glue but not to glue new rubber on new blade
