Plus you can tune your ESS & continue to run on E85. If you run a 105 mm pulley you will be faster than the Whipple. Smart move on your part!!! I have friends running ESS and getting 900 to 1000 WHP. So Brother if you have the G3 intercooler DON’T install it. Get the G4 intercooler to go with your ESS G3X SC!!!!! Ken at HPR has been installing the G4 intercoolers on all his Costumer’s cars with the G3X for over a year now. That’s what he did on StangMode’s Black Mamba & on Zander13’s car. I want to to get the 8 second race ticket so you will need this along with the 100 mm pulley‼️‼️‼️👍👊🇺🇸

Can barely watch some of the other Mustang channels with distractions of painting or adding old nostalgic cars & motorcycles... This is refreshing and I think your going in the right direction with drift track driving and performance. 8's will be awesome!

I do have to roll on the throttle in first for about 1.5 seconds during launch and let off a little going into 2nd but I can roll 2nd to the floor and keep it there for the rest of the gears. I guess wheels and tires are next so I don't have to compensate so much.
Centri for the win! A 10R80 with a Centri where it shifts at 8000rpm and doesn't drop much during shifts, that Whipple is not going to be a problem. I should know, 800hp Procharger on a 120MM pulley.
I'm probably going to go Whipple because I am in a manual but that won't be for a few years yet.. When I do it I'm gonna take it to a shop and have them do it.. Thats when I'll have them do the oil pump gears and everything else.. I'll be saving for a while for this but I'm not looking for crazy power number's 680 wheel on 93 pump would have me very happy.. Even if it was like 675 to 700ish wheel that would be a handful for a manual.. This stuff gets expensive quick because you end up needing wheels and tires to get the power down better, first a clutch later a Stage 2 Ben Calimer MT82.. So I still have a lot of saving and thinking to do.. I am definitely looking forward to seeing you and DB boosted though.. Those 10 speeds with ESS kits are amazing in roll racing...
I have a manual ESS man still fun af. If you're obsessed with 60-130 than it doesn't matter what blower ya got 10speed always wins but if you want fun to drive and stock OPG ESS is the way.
I drive a boosted S197 but i am glad there will still be NA content on both of the channels. I love to see both. I think it appeals to everyone. Some people dont want boost and some boost right away.
Glad to see you went ESS. Just got my gen 3 boosted about a month ago with the same setup. Currently on a 120mm pulley and E85. Car is a blast! Gonna track it and get it dyno'd soon, then swap to the 100mm pulley. If you're ever in or near the central/northern NC or southern VA area, let's run 'em!

Putting the Whipple kit on my 22GT was the most fun thing I’ve done on my cars! I’ve built a 10 gt500 with a 3.6 KenneBell etc but the Whipple kit and all the new shit they send made it a breeze and fun anticipating the HP coming! It didn’t disappoint! There is no replacement for Boost it’s an adrenaline addiction!!
That’s so wild. I came from a C7zo6 to a whipple GT350. To a 2020 GT500. And I was in between an S650 with a Whipple or a 23 Mach one with the ESS . And I ended up going with the Mach 1 with the ESS .Just waiting for it to arrive to install it . Wish you guys were local so we could do some runs and compare😊

@@ItalianStallion410 Good luck bro. I’ve just seen it so many time. Stock 10R plus converter and boost, clutches are gonna be screaming and it won’t consistently shift at the demanded RPM. I went with an RSA Stage 2+ 10R build and so far so good. They are magicians with these transmissions.
@@ItalianStallion410 A 10R in really good shape will put up with a 120mm on 93 for a little bit doing digs but even those burn clutches. On E and smaller pulley if you’re gonna be dig racing just get the trans built before it hurts more stuff. Will save you money in the long run

Your ess set up is going to gap his whipple set up. 10 speed vs manual and he's stuck with the conservative whipple/ford tune and pump gas 😂.
He has a 10 speed not manual
Also his car with the stage 2 kit should be around 9.50 in the quarter mile just on pump gas
