Trenholme Junction 00 Model Railway - Running Trains Session 28 - New Junctions and Loops

Two new junctions, storage sidings and loop have been added to the south of the Parcels Platform on the Main Station to cope with the additional parcels vehicles acquired for the layout.
A new junctions has been added just south of the Parcels Platform leading to a very long passing loop. The existing long siding used for DMU stabling has been moved to accommodate the loop.
At the other end of the loop is a six point ladder giving access from the main passenger running lines. There are also two new sidings at this junction.
Both sides of the loop can be used for storage or both sides can be used as a running road with direct access to the Bay Platform.
Whist the track was been laid the lichen bushes were removed along the siding and new boards with photo colour edges to give a clean and stable break with the background videos.
This running session is to test the trackwork after the work was completed and also to show the Hymek arriving from a distant place with the newly acquired Hawksworth stock.
The breakdown crane passes through one side of the new loop and on through the Bay Platform.
A lot more work than what you think, pleased with the results, plenty of room for parcels and excursion stock to be stored.

Well done Doug, now 8 tracks wide on the approach, very impressive. It seems as if S&T are taking their time in putting those bracket signal posts up! Good to also see a Standard racing though at the end.
