    So the sweedish shef verse was entierly in english, what stups did is they just oversweedishised the english language to sound like gibberish but if you listen closely you can hear +- what they're saying

      I heard some english in there, I just assumed it was said in English because some word are easier said in English when it comes to rapping. Turns out it was all “gibberish” as I thought haha. Very unlikely indeed!

      Technically, the Swedish Chef speaks Mock Swedish, and it's mostly English in a heavy accent and "Bork bork bork" for punctuation.

    Sam the Eagle was always misinformed on things. He thought Rudolf Nureyev was an opera singer when he was actually a ballet dancer. So that's always been a running gag with Sam.

    Hi, Swede here. No Swedish is ever spoken by the Swedish chef, not even sure you can call his "accent" Swedish, sounds closer to Danish or Dutch. But he does reference lingonberries and that's pretty damn Swedish of him.

      And half the joke of Swedish Chef is that he doesn't actually speak Swedish; his original subtitles were in Chinese, adding to the confusion as they were equally incoherent.

      His language has always been described as 'Mock-Swedish'. IIRC, Jim Henson used to listen to learn-to-speak-Mock-Swedish tapes in his car, and that's what he used for the character.

    This Cypher potentially could have been the longest in nerdcore beating Gameboy Jones's Fairy Tale Cypher. There are DOZENS of Muppets and so many more nerdcore artists out there.

      @Timber I think the joke works on 2 levels. Sam Eagle has no knowledge of any national anthem outside of the United States, so he inadvertently chooses the one American song that's just another country's national anthem with different lyrics.

      I dunno, the back for blood one was called a cypher on others channel uploads. Kinda the weird gray zone. Then there was most fashionable faction which was cypher styled. So again gray area. So, yea prolly right you are.

    The Stupendium used English for his bit, but the accent is so thick and exaggerated that it's almost another language, you need to listen multiple times to actually hear the words, but they match with the captions.
