nice, I was just in England in June and spent a month in the UK. I have been in that area your talking about but I dont recall the door actually. I got some nice pics of the area, gotta check it out whenever you visit England, a most see. I stayed in Hexham on a farm for a week and went south to Bath and Exeter. Love England, my home away from home. Been there several times. Nice video and good work! Cheers!

Wow, so this charming English town is approximately a thousand years old! Back in the 11th century the English language was more like German than modern English. I love the famous door, and I have to agree that it inspired Tolkien, but it looks more to me like the Doors of Durin, which were an entrance to the underground Dwarf city of Moria. The sheep story is amazing! Huffkins bakery is definitely one of the main attractions, in my opinion! This tour is so pretty, educational and entertaining. Thanks Victoria!

Great video! 😀 I loved Stow-on-the-Wold, especially the church door! Wish we could have stayed longer but it was part of a Cotswolds tour.

We just returned from a 2 and half week holiday in the United Kingdom. We spent 3 days in Stow on the Wold.....Loved it.
You did miss one very important OLD building/business that has been in operation since 947AD... The Porch House Inn. Said to be the Oldest Inn in England. A Great place to visit.
We stayed at THE BELL, just down the street from the Porch House. I HIGHLY recommend THE BELL as a place to stay while in Stow On the Wold. The owners are absolutely the best, very cordial and accommodating and the food was delicious!!!. If I am fortunate enough to get to go back, I will definitely stay at THE BELL again!!!!

Ive driven past stow on the wold many times but only last month turned right into the town upon reaching it. It was lovely. I had my parents with me who thought there was nothing there as years ago they had visited somewhere else that they thought was stow on the wold. A mystery where that was

Lovely video. But the amount of sheep they sold sounds crazy.

The 12th century is 900 years ago and not a couple of centuries.

PLEASE learn to pronounce the name of the town! It isn’t “walled”.
