Hello dear channel I have question Im so confused Irish bouzuoki, mandolin and cittern Which one is which beacuse they have alomst the same also sound quality and sound textur is quite similar so , which one is which ..is there any difference between these three European traditional instruments? ..is there any we could find difference between them?? If yes then which one is which
Sorry to hear you are confused. They differ in scale lengt, body size, string sizes and tuning. I would suggest you explore my website where you can see these specifications at www.nyberginstruments.com
Compared to longscale 15" this seems somewhat feminine in tone. (are we allowed to say that?). 🤔 Evenly balanced, beautifully soft, calmingly smooth, alluring and so so pleasant.
Hey just realised that on this one you mentioned a K&K pickup, but on 'Doug' you said a Journey pickup passive transducer. So have you gone back to the K&K? And my wife has somehow stolen my 'comments' identity, but it's me Gregg Thorn (Quasialien - from Perth Wa) :)
Hey Gregg. Sorry to hear your wife stole your identity. I have it when that happens ;) I have tried out the journey pickups a couple times. I still offer K+K as default on my work, but am bringing in new options. The journey is 2 dots under the bridge but to my ears has more gain than k+k, and is easier to install for my situation.
so resonant - fantastic sound!
Thank you kindly!
That's one Killer sounding Instrument damn that red cedar top & fl, walnut are gorgeous !!
That red cedar must smell good too :)
Thanks Scott. 😊 It's nice to use cedar again.

Doesn’t look small to me.
