API 550A (UAD & Waves)

(ENG) The video shows a virtual API 550A EQ on a Logic Pro X Drummer riffs. It’s used alternatively the UAD and the Waves version.

The UAD versions sound more like the hardware, and I definitely prefer that. But both of them would do a fine job if you just know what to expect from them.

The waves has always lacked a little size and presence to me. You can here it here, the UAD seems to go an octave lower, with more punch
