You seem to be mistaking justice for vengeance, in addition to not comprehending correctional facilities are meant to do just that -- correct and then provide an opportunity for reform. Repeat offenders who show they are unwilling or incapable of reform are the ones who get life without possibility of parole. Otherwise the aim is not to lock people up and throw away the key, but to have them serve their time and leave prison reformed and able to contribute to society. 20 years is very common. Decades of punishment and opportunity for reform. 15-25 years being the most common sentences for varying degrees of murder. Bloodlust is akin to what lands these people in prison in the first place, not justice.

You talking to us or Jesus? You know why you do that, right? Why it's gotta be the name of Jesus to show your disgust for something. Why it's not some terrible person who deserves the disgust.. No, that would make entirely too much sense. It's gotta be Jesus. The only sinless man to ever walk the earth. The man who preached nothing, but Love and Spirit. Never raised a hand to anyone. Went to the cross for you.. was humiliated and tortured to the point of no longer resembling a human being. For you. When He asked for water as He hung on the cross, they gave Him vinegar and they laughed and mocked Him. They were cruel, like you are. This is our history. Whether you believe He is God or not, He was an actual living person. Every well known atheist would laugh at you if you said He didn't exist as a human being. It's depraved of you to use His name as you do. And it's really bizarre that none of you can use ANY other name. You won't. You can't. It's gotta be Jesus, because what's in you, hates Him. You can't help but mock Him. I dare you to try not to. Those spirits will rise up so fast inside of you. You're bound to your flesh so you mock your own Spirit. It's. So. Warped.

Which would bring his sentence to 10 years, then he could have it further reduced due to good behavior and by joining certain programs that are offered by the prison. He could theoretically serve as little as 4-6 yrs on a 20 year run. Best hope is that he gets what is described as prison justice. People who killed children are not held in high regard there.

Why should he get charged more? and why should it be ok for the mother to do then? You open a can of worms just by saying "Just 20 years".

I can never understand the logic let alone the evil behind such acts.
