    Thank you, you explained well and you’re one of the best videos I found on how to make lu pulu properly, the other videos on Tongan people making it don’t fully explain as you have, the only thing I never tried is using glad wrap before the foil which I’m going to skip but overall I’m gonna try cooking this because it looks delicious, well done.

      It's not usual to use plastic saran-wrap as long as there's a aluminum foil to cover over the plastic saran-wrap. Some commercial kitchen does it that way.

    • @s1mon18
      @s1mon18 4 года назад +1

      99iwaena where they do that? Even though the human eye can't see it, toxic particles will be emitting from plastic cooked in the oven. Simple science.

    • @99iwaena
      @99iwaena 4 года назад +2

      @@s1mon18 If you reside living Hawaii and work for local restaurants you'll probably see that being used. We also, uses plastic tarps to cover our pork meat and other meat/fish products when we're cooking Polynesian underground (Imu) style. Also, is there any substantial facts of your simple scientifically findings?

      My Dad's people are among the Coast Salish so salmon is the feature in our meals. My grandmother would take a slab of fresh salmon, coat it with her favorite seasonings, wrap it in tin foil, and bake it just enough for it to be cooked yet juicy. Aloha Chef Prez. It has been awhile since you posted this but wanted to share something "important". I love your recipe and desire to share this with others HOWEVER, by cooking in an aluminum container, AND putting saran wrap over the top of the Lupulu before cooking is releasing very TOXIC chemicals into the food that will be consumed. Plastic wrap is full of cancer producing chemicals and aluminum has already been linked to Alzeimers disease in many elders for years. Mahalo (thank you !) for reading this.
