Fabulous B I recently learned that gender reveals have become a trend since 2008 and has grown in popularity since then. I agree that it’s a big deal for families, but I’m also trying to be understanding of people who don’t define themselves by their gender.

That’s great. He knows he’s the favorite son and probably won’t have to share his toys with his sisters because they might not be into that kind of stuff.
The thing is, all children are generally happy about all things in this life. That is until adults make a really, really big deal about something that the child feels obligated to make a big, big deal about it too. Thus, taking away bit by bit the innocence of their childhood.😥

An older sister usually helps you mature faster, at least it did with me.
I'm actually terrified of having children. All the responsibilities and fear of messing them up. I now have this RUclips Playlist entitled "don't be afraid" and there's all these videos of the Crosby family because if my kids have any chance to be like your kids... Well mannered, caring for each other, caring for others, smart, talented, loving... It makes me look forward to having kids instead of being afraid. So thanks for being such an inspiration

the biggest this is to just be there for them and love them. everything else will work out on it’s own. if you already care so much that you’re worrying before they even exist, then you will be a great parent!
Simple advice: play with them,spend time with them,put your phone away and only hang on it when the kids sleep,say NO to them when it is NO,don't be scared if they start to cry when you say NO,after a few NO they will take it as natural as YES. I have succeeded with my two kids,never had a problem with saying no to them,if everything is yes of course then you'll have brats that only you love,others don't.

One of the reasons kids exist is so adults learn from someone who’s been Home and remembers and still retains the knowledge and wisdom before forgetting it and being trained/raised badly out of it into fear and hurt and ignorance and such instead of love respect kindness understanding and such. Adults need to listen to kids without judging... they know and remember so much

Yes! We also had girl, boy, girl, girl.....way back starting 36 years ago, and the kids have grown up being one another's best friends.......children are the BEST blessing!!

This has to be my all-time favorite gender reveal video. It was exactly the most genuine and back to an intimate, beautiful and genuine way of finding out your baby’s gender. We all need a little bit more of normalcy back in our lives and this was a great way of reminding us of what that is. Thank you for sharing this with us. Ashley‘s reaction was so tender and touching. Your values and morals are something that I want to instill and emulate for when I have a family of my own. You guys are such an inspiration. Beautiful, honest, kind, happy and genuine. I knew it was a girl by the mothers instant reaction. For some reason women react slightly differently to a girl gender result than a boy. It's exactly how my husband and I reacted as well, so that also kind of clued me in. Congrats!

I don't think Carson was disappointed or any other thing. As adults, we put these ideas into children's minds ~ you should feel disappointment, you should be upset, you will be outnumbered etc. Meanwhile, we adults are robbing children of the innocence of their childhood and teaching them some really disturbing judgements. 🙏🙏❣

Honestly, they won't truly know if it's the last one until after they have it. Sometimes a family thinks they are done only for God to say "I need you to raise another one for me.". Other times people are done when they say they are.

i think it's because the brown eye colour is the dominant allele over blue eye colour (human genetics)
if the father's parents both have brown eyes, it's genetically impossible for the baby to have blue eyes. Brown is a dominant color and if the baby gets even ONE brown gene, she will have brown eyes. thats also why all the other kids have brown eyes. all of them have one blue gene since their mom has blue eyes and doesn't have brown genes in her eyes, but the brown in the kids eyes covers the blue
Elea I have a question, for example if the father has blue eyes and both his parents have blue eyes but the mom and both her parents have brown eyes, what color eyes would the children have?

Every time I hear that someone else is pregnant it triggers me though. My husband and I are unable to have children. We will be childless until we reach heaven, where our four babies we lost await us.
