I’ve never seen children who welcomed a new baby so readily. Usually they are a little jealous and resentful. This is one exceptional family who very lovingly prepared and included their children. I think maybe they should write a book.

To combat anemia and get energy back, take a Tbsp of blackstrap molasses every morning, swigging it back and swallowing with juice. Helped me immensely post birth. (I also was bleeding too much after going to my postpartum recovery room and knocked out so the doctor could do his life saving thing.)

Claire is such an old soul, so pure, sweet and loving. I am in awe of how a girl as young as her can be so mature and wise, especially at how she can express herself in such a beautiful way and at how she acts as the big sis she is towards her siblings. This family is so full of love!!

Claire has the typical, first born bossiness down pat, she's 8 going on 25! Then there's sweet Carson, his patience is unbelievable, loved it when he told Claire "You've been holding her for a long time." To see a young boy love his sisters, Dave and Ashley kudos to you!
Also, Ashley smoothed that over by telling Carson that Millie is theirs forever, so there will be plenty of time for turns. 😊

Cried through most of that. Loved the beginning footage shot by Claire, and the candid dialogue with Carson about underwear and sleeping naked!, and how Claire talked about all the emotions she had, and feeling peaceful/excited. Loved all of their excitement (including June's) at the baby, and the ! Ashley is a trooper :-(. She looked so tired and physically beat up from all the blood loss etc., but she still rallied for her kids. Such a lovely family

I remember thinking when watching Millie be surrounded by her family on her first morning that she was surrounded with love and laughter from the first moments of her life. She will have such an amazing and supportive and loving family, I am so happy for you guys!!!! When Claire was holding Millie for the first time she looked down on Millie with such love it took my breathe away. June was so happy when Millie came home, she said I love you baby Millie. And Carson was very patient and loving when he asked to hold Millie. Your kids are so incredible, I love you guys so much!!!
