It's New Year's Eve and I feel a little bit less alone (Omicron changed all plans) because I could share this joy with your family!!! I can't handle June....what a personality!!!! I love how Claire shares the spotlight with all.....and Carson also seems to have nothing but love for his very outgoing sisters. It's wonderful to see!!! We are four in my family and my brother is also second. He had very gregarious sisters and always took a back seat to us. He never resented us. This family is so special. I never received presents on my birthday and Christmas growing up, and while watching this vlog makes me kind of sad because I never got to experience that joy, it makes me happy and grateful because I know what I need to do in order to give this joy to my kids someday.
Things don't bring long lasting joy. It is fleeting joy. Don't buy into it because you will be disappointed. The more they get the more they expect. Give to others and that is where the true joy comes from.

Thank you for sharing your Christmas with us. This was so delightful to watch. I sat glued to every second of you all. I don't know what Wicked is but the look on Ashley's face was amazing... and the look on Claire's face when she looked up at Ashley after learning about Legoland is priceless. That's when the tears started falling. The love in that little girl's eyes for her mama is what makes the world right.
