Thanks! I always thought it was a neat little track on the debut. To me, It represents the more emotional side of the album that being the bottom half along with The Background, Motorcycle Drive By, and God of Wine. I never get tired of the self-titled debut or Blue.
If I remember correctly Jenkins was on the drums for the recording too. So interesting they cycled through a couple drummers before taking Brad Hardgreaves full time
Yeah Jenkins did drums on I want you and then Michael Urbano did drums on LAWY, Narcolepsy, HIGTB, and Motorcycle Drive By. Hargreaves is on all the other tracks apart from those.
Great work!:-) I think all the lead work might have been Eric Valentine-I'm sure i read that Kevin was in Ireland when this was recorded. Often wondered what effects were used for the phased muted notes on the chorus-its a huge sound
Thanks! Yeah that sounds right! Eric Valentine did such a great job producing the debut. He did some of the other instrumentation here and there on the record like on Thanks A Lot & God of Wine with his Piano. Dude has produced some great work.
