- Hey guys! Just wanted to fill you in on the past couple of weeks that Ive had, its been super busy but am trying to make videos as often as I can. Also wanted to be helpful to anyone who was curious in doing something similar to what im doing right now. Let me know if you guys would like more videos like this, or to hear about more of the behind the scenes stuff, or just vlogs of my day. Open to all input!

Okay so I had an idea to start a mobile coffee biz and was looking into small carts and all and then came across your vid, I went on instagram and I have to say I want to do the same thing here in LA. But for a different scene and I’m confused, I have about 1k to start and don’t know how. I’m frustrated. I think you making a video dedicated to what you need to put in the binder and how to even start from scratch, making a logo and where to go to get your name branded or TM would be super helpful.

TAYLOR!! It's God's grace that I stumbled upon your page and see your journey -- three years ago I was inspired to start my own coffee business as well! I think I would like to start off as a coffee truck. I havent done anything yet besides think of the brand and pray for it.
What is the most important thing I need to do NOW...?
I wanted to learn more about business by reading books and taking online courses. I have zero experience on the business ends of things but I have experience as a barista. It's all kind of intimidating.. 😖
Love this and would love to hear more about the whole journey as it continues! I'm in culinary school in Texas and have plans to open a cupcake truck someday :)
Thank you for sharing all the info. I have always wanted to start a mobile coffee business. I got married this year so it was put on the back-burner. Time to get back on the wagon to creating. Good luck to you and your hard work. May it be all that you imagined it to be.

Starting a business really is a lot of work and the costs alone are crazy. It's no wonder so many younger people are hesitant to even attempt it.

I wanted to reach out and tell you how awesome it is that you are so young and have this business. I’ve had mine 8 years and as you know there are some days that I wonder why I’m doing it. If you’re getting a paycheck and it has overhead then you must be doing well. If I ever happen to be that way or you this way you should stop in I know I will if I’m in your area! In Alaska we call them coffee huts and our state is practically littered with them. I made a video on why they are so popular here. There are almost no permits or zoning laws. It’s a coffee free for all!
I think I'm going to have to take this route as my start. Just aquired a slayer machine and am eager to share good coffee

I know he plays baseball so I’m assuming he can’t leave campus during the summer because of practice? Just curious and am so so hopeful for your future together 💕

I know you can't afford to think this way but every time I see one of these coffee trailers, there's always a line of cars around it. Should be a moneymaker.
I'd imagine it takes a while to pay off, though. Especially if you've used loans to pay for the trailer.

Not exactly sure how I got here lol but I found this really interesting. I watch a lot of youtubers and I find the BTS stuff intriguing simply because most people don't talk about it. It's very admin and not exactly "entertainment", but it's what people DO, and most people don't talk about it because they think people won't be interested. Like when big youtubers go on tour, or write books or whatever, they rarely talk about the bts stuff, but you can't imagine all the meetings and paperwork and vaccinations and visas and all of what goes into business dealings. I'm a chef, and people often ask me, "oh so you want to own your own restaurant someday?" and I'm like, "HAHAHAHA no." Admin stuff is NOT my forte. It becomes your life. I just like being the hands. Just give me a list of projects to do and I'll do it. Let other people be the brains and worry and handle paperwork and meetings. Props to you though. Power to you.

I’m not currently opening my own business, but it’s a dream and goal of mine to open my own coffee trailer one day (that’s actually how I found you!!). I’m from Everett/Spokane but am currently in D.C. due to my husband’s military orders. We’re moving back to WA to the Bremerton/port orchard area and I’m so beyond excited!!

I just recently turned 18 and I'm opening a coffee kiosk, not mobile and in a different environment than a mobile cafe, but some aspects are still similar. Very helpful, and motivating for me to see another young entrepreneur being able to balance work, personal life, and starting a new business, looking forward to watching your new videos. Could you please do some kind of video on the basics on being a barista or what you need to know to become a barista? I'm going home from college for the summer and want to apply at the local coffee stand near my house but I've never done anything like being a barista so I'm nervous that they won't hire me or if they do I'll be awful 😂😂

Good question, I researched copy rights and trademark. And from what I gathered you don't have to but it's in your best interest.
