ive tried getting into daoc uthguard and eden like 4 times. every single time the community has been TERRIBLE. people are so rude and impatient with new players, i basically was insta kicked from every single group when i asked a question about where the group was or needed some basic navigational info. as soon as they realize you havent been playing the game 20 years they insta kick you. I cant overstate how bad the community is compared to every single other emulated mmo community i participated in.
I was wondering when I’d have the same experience & luckily, i think all the try hard players are at max lvl/realm rank now…fingers crossed that I can continue to enjoy the game
Can't speak for Eden. Uthgard i can picture it, i came in pretty late in the lifecycle of the shard so there were a lot of leet people PLing their 20th alt, not very patient overall. But also some cool people if you stayed away from the PL areas, also i had a whole guild reforming there so lots of good natured help. Phoenix was largely full of laid back groups and casual people seemingly playing for the first time, sure I saw PLers too but i'd say a good community overall (and same in the RvR arena, while i was there)

As a returning Eden player I had not the same problem, you should probably wait a week so the hardcore players don't get in your group.
Crafting Video ?
I haven’t crafted since the game was out originally…do folks craft on the Eden server? For what I wonder?
