Wow, that IS quite a haul! Lots of nice sets. Happy building! I received a big parcel from Bluebrixx a week ago (instead of my own much smaler order) that was not really for me: The invoice in it was to some guy in Austria. I wrote Bluebrixx a message asking if I could at least build the set before returning it... I didn't get a reply yet, they seem to be busy.
@BricksOnAnIsland The Stargate set is for my wife's parents; I'm curious what they think. One of your comments motivated me to buy the runabout! I've heard BlueBrixx is very busy now, but I think they packed everything well. The box is very sturdy, but it got damaged while DHL had it, then the US postal service delivered to the wrong address 9 days ago and finally got it to me today.
@joe-bowling Yep, the time before Christmas is always a bit chaotic for companies. I hope that means we will get a peaceful and relaxing time as soon as the holidays begin ... ☃️🌈🎄✨️
Wow that shipment has seen some rough times for sure. It’s like Bluebrixx heard all the romeoville complaints and said hold my beer lol. Enjoy the builds
@jasonsbricksin5 It's a good thing I don't collect boxes! 🤣 I just feel bad about the Stargate set because that's been my in-laws' favorite show for as long as I've known and I'm going to end up giving it to them in a grocery bag.
@SO-ym3zs Yes it's a shame, because I could tell from BlueBrixx's videos that their people really loved the theme. I just hope some other company gets the license and makes sets that are easier to get for the whole world.
@@joe-bowling It's funny how Star Wars became this enormous cash cow for Lego, but Star Trek, which is a decades-long cultural phenomenon, hasn't had a great history as brick-built toys. Mega had the license and made some mediocre sets (though I have to say the giant Enterprise set looks amazing from a distance), then BlueBrixx only had the license for a while and lost it. Then again, Star Wars is more clearly aimed at and marketable to kids, where Trek is more of an adult franchise that has never had a good history in the toy world in general, whereas Star Wars has been a massive juggernaut.
@SO-ym3zs Yeah, my brother and I grew up with both Star Wars and Star Trek and we had tons of Star Wars toys and figures, but almost nothing Star Trek. But I feel like brick-building as an adult hobby has grown a lot in recent years and I hope some company realizes there are a lot of adults who love brick-building and Star Trek.

Looks like they dropped it from orbit! A shame about BlueBrixx losing the Star Trek license :(
