FREE PROVISIONING GUIDE
Pascale has put together a FREE 40 page Provisioning Guide. The Guide explains and provides examples of how we can travel eating a variety of healthy and delicious meals for up to 6 months at a time on our tiny boat with no resupply. There has never been a better time to start learning how to increase the food storage potential of your home. I hope this guide will inspire you to make more informed long term provisioning choices for the future! The biproducts and waste from our modern throw-away society are a gold mine for the ingenious and innovative chaps like Troy and myself. While I miss the sailing on Mirrool, this farmstead stuff is addicting. The farm life is probably a good move providing a bit more legroom for your new crew member. Peace and Love to you all.
I want my own fire pit with all your modifications. I love the creativity of all your projects. The trampoline made me do a Homer Simpson: "Doh!" So obvious in hindsight.
Ooooh! Daddy Troy. That tractor is, of course, one of your best tools.
Homesteading, sailing, building stuff, it's all good. I just enjoy you two so much.
Troy you are so smart and apply your idea’s to so many different area’s and topics. I like it a lot. Please keep up your excellent work and to share your experiences gained. Thank you 🙏
I very much enjoyed the refresher on all these clever creations of Troys. It reminded me to look more closely at things before I discard them in case there might be a opportunity to repurpose the item instead.
Lovely to meet you guys at the Circle of Trees last weekend. Most welcome to visit us at the Witchcliffe Eco village if you’re ever down this way. Best wishes. Laurie and Anu.
Troy you're the "McGiver" of YT. Very handy at remaking things that have a purpose. I like the movable laying pen & that Barbecue is fantastic. Cheers mate.
Legends, can't wait to see the boat get started.
Dad sitting at the fire holding his daughter, brings back memories! Good video!
Thanks for sharing your creative repurposing ideas. I've only recently started following your channel and as I live in Australia, it's great to see your content.
Been with you for 4 or 5 years now. Starting with sailing and now to the homestead.. I can't do much on supporting you other than the likes and subscribes.. but I do have 2 sailing tees. And just got a homestead tee... love the videos ...
Hi guys, good to see you’re right in Recycling unfortunately we live in a throwaway society. It’s wonderful to see someone see beyond a piece of junk to some people and you can change it into something useful keep up the good work. Love your videos , Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia 🇦🇺🧑🏾🦽
Some superb items there, nice one. Love the cold/offset smoker! Especially the brake rotor/disc door :) And yes, you building a boat from plans would be epic to watch ... and doubtless will inspire many to try it themselves. All the best and much love to you, Pascale, and Constance.
Troy, your ingenuity is great, I’m not without. Your mind must be racing! Cool mate!
love seeing all the igenious ways you have turned waste into very useful items. 👍👍
Thanks Troy. I wish you were my neighbour I could use you!!!
Merch ordered, as I still have your FRS sweatshirt and hoodie, both well traveled and awesome! 😀
A bit of flat bar 100mm x 10mm on the carry all will give you a blade to level ground. Great mods. Good screw pun.
Sadly, my 3PL doesn't have a float function but the front does have a bucket, so I back blade as much as my neck will agree to.
Another great video and a real pleasure to watch. You guys are living the dream working on the land with some fantastic ideas on how to recycle almost anything into very useful stuff. Cheers from Brisbane Australia
Great video, looking forward to the boat build
I love what y'all do with the homestead but I'm looking forward to the boat build too brother keep doing what you're doing
Very handy stuff to have and that firepit/bbq is bloody awesome. cheers.
I am glad you two decided to evolve from Sailing to homesteading. Lot of good stuff and Oh my gosh! Building a family is the best. I live in Texas and have 6 kids, (ha! not goats), 14 grandkids, and now we have one great grandchild. Family is the most rewarding part of life but there will be some knocks along the way. Would not trade it for anything. God bless you guys !
Heath Robinson is smiling down on you
Amazing! Sailor, homesteader, Jack of all trades.
Ripper Video 👍👍👍
Mad Max smoker...... Frankenbarbeque
Great video I'm always amazed at your enginuity i always learn something from your videos, question i Been watching you guys since the beginning do you still have your sail boat.all the best to you and your family
YOU are SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😍😍😍😍😍😍
A lot of good information here guys. Condensing everything into one episode, was/is a great idea. Thank you again. I think,in a previous comment, I referenced the "Father of British Self Sufficiency" John Seymour, in particular a goat milking platform. However since then, I see that others have done that same design. So the designer of the original, is unknown. I guess, it's a case of whatever works for you. Again thank you for sharing your knowledge. How's bubba going/doing?? Take care and atb from across the ditch.
Love it.
Awesome video
Great video!
i suggested 'foxes afloat' from scotland give you guys a look see as they are also doing a little homesteading. maybe you could look them up/
Very clever stuff Troy..
Fn awsome
hot glue can fix dripping water drums :)
Nice logo.
❤❤
to smoke meat all you needis just some thin blue smoke, just very whispy. to much smoke and you'll get a condition calld creasote. smoking meat is like my thing. save your corn cobs, they make some nice light smoke. a very light smoke flavor flavor.
We have gone overboard and nearly ruined some bacon before, so I know exactly what you mean.
Hi guys, I had a look at those T-shirts but they’re in US dollars. I don’t understand we live in Australia
In the last video, we explained that to get worldwide delivery at a reasonable price point for everyone, we use a US based company. Our audience is only partially Australian and there are no Aussie companies that meet our requirements.
What kind of wood do you use for smoking in Australia?
Sorry, should have watched the video longer.
Tried to Email you, not sure that it went through so: I follow your RUclips channel and I also follow a channel call "Emily & Clark's Adventure". Clark is looking for someone to represent his "Battery bank manager" for sailing/homestead off grid stuff in Australia, I thought you might be interested. If you watch their most recent video it has some info. Also, there are other videos about the bank manager you can watch if you are interested. Just a thought I decided to pass on to you.
Building a boat ? I thought you said building a goat and the start of this video made me think you had already succeeded. You do realise you cannot milk a boat don’t you ?
