    I have poor range of motion on my left arm/elbow/shoulder due to an injury/surgery. Can I still get a benefit if I currently can’t do the movements exactly as shown?

    • @HumanGarage
      @HumanGarage  Год назад +38

      Absolutely! Whatever your max range of motion is will have just as much benefit to your body. The intention is what matters most as well, do to your best of ability, and even modify the maneuvers if you need to, as the fascia releases your range of motion will adapt accordingly. Please check out our essential fascial maneuver sequences playlist and try the seated modifications and elbow maneuvers, let us know how it goes! ruclips.net/p/PL6HV2prxhhV8y7xeEEHdjnm-t1wPTgIix

      Understanding that there isn't really a wrong way to do fascial Maneuvers is a great place to start! If the opposite arm and hand work, use that hand to gently pull the fascia while doing the counter rotation. The best thing to move fascia is the breath. Just do the resets and Maneuvers to the best of your ability, because your ability will increase over time. HGFM works in self healing!

    I want to share that I did this routoine 4 times within 10days in May this year. I have scoliosis, my thorasic curve was 28 degrees in Nov 2022, I just had exrays (Nov. 2023) and it went down to 20 degrees! I stopped as I had spasms in my back when playing golf, this lastest approx. 3 weeks. I was too nervous to continue but now that I have these results I am starting back again and plan to do every other week to get back easy. Thank you for this video, at 67 I never thought I could decrease my curve.

    I just discovered a breathing technique, inspired by this video, that helps with my extreme daily anxiety and I'm SO excited to share it. I've tried lots of other breathing techniques over the years, but nothing else personally helps me as much as what I just discovered. I breathe in and KEEP breathing in as much as I can, with small "gulps" of air until I can't breathe in any more (blowing myself up like a balloon). Then I hold my breath for as long as I can (at least 30 seconds, but I know many people might not be able to go that long at first). Then I breathe out and slowly take several large breaths in and out. Then repeat. While I'm holding my breath, I can feel myself and my brain "slowing down", and I think that's what's helping the most.

    I've done this routine twice and both times I unlocked sharp stiffness and pain associated with intense corporal punishment from my childhood. Had a big, big cry both times, but I felt lighter and freer afterwards. It felt like sharp rocks were being shaken and dissolved from my hips and spine.

    These exercises have changed my life. I’ve had chronic pain that’s been a struggle as my passion is dynamic movement. After a decade of various treatments, and waking up each day in pain…2 weeks of doing these exercises have me waking up pain free while training as intensely as I ever have with freestyle calisthenics, ATG, weight training, yoga, & various sports.
    I’m going through the 28 day reset now and feel amazing in my body. So grateful. ❤❤❤

    Did this for the first time yesterday, looking for relief from left hip pain. Felt fantastic. Happened to take my BP which is usually high, around 153/94 and to my surprise it was 129/77. This is an amazing result for me. Will certainly be doing this program from now on and hope my BP will remain stable. Thank you ❤

    Tried this for the first time. Got a little confused at first coordinating all the twisting, but confusion was replaced by clarity halfway through. That was absolutely incredible! Wow! Thank you so much!

    I've been almost bedridden for 12 months without knowing I was suffering from severe low vitamin D. Today, it was my first time trying this. I felt so dizzy, but I hope this will help relax my weak and stiff muscles. Thanks for making these helpful videos. I look forward to doing this for 28 days and see if I'd be able to start working out lightly.

    I suffer from scoliosis, carpal tunnel, sciatica (among other things) and lately, I have been experiencing gout-like symptoms. I tried this last night and I felt INSTANT RELIEF. Looking forward to getting my health back and committing to this journey with Human Garage, albeit remotely. (Hopefully I get to visit your center someday!) Thank you for all you do!

    I’m so grateful that I found you on TikTok! I have Fibromyalgia and I tried this and I noticed a difference right away! I did notice that when I did the twisting on one side it was hard for me to balance… just wondering if that might be something anyone else has experienced. Thanks so much!

      One side of the body is generally more restricted than the other, as the body unwinds we will begin to feel the patterns in our body which need to be addressed, keep going and give our 45 minute class a try if you are familiar with the 15 minute stress reset, and organ reset classes!

    i'm navigation an RA flare this past month or two , lost strength and also working to bring my weaker right leg/hip back into balance with the left. on this movement when i do one direction of crossover the R leg shakes and i am very unstable, so on the first go around i did not do as many repetitions, but i can see that these movements are going to be wonderful as i make progress...and in combination with other things I am doing ,will help me enormously. also tried your finger release. i have never seen anything like it , but it helped ,even once. these make so much sense to me, in terms of faschia being unifying and connecting and the fact that healing & release involves multiple areas as they relate to each other. thank you

    This is so interesting. I stumbled on a video of yours. I have been trying so many things to correct a right hip issue. For years I have noticed that I carry stress in my lower right abdomen. I could actually feel my body winding up as though a ‘shirt’ was being pulled and twisted on my lower right abdomen. My navel is clearly off center to the right. I will definitely do these.

    Just did my first 15 minutes. Not feeling pain but I was yawning a bit. Could be because it’s before bed but I’ll let you know after further tries. One thing I did note was how severely tight my right side was. I’m not sure even a massage could unravel those knots I felt.

      Thank you for sharing! Have you had a chance to do our organ reset, and finger release as will? Combining those classes with this one will help rebalance and integrate the body as it heals and adapts the new changes. We also have videos on Seated modifications which are very powerful if balance is difficult. :)
