I don't usually care for RGB and tempered glass, but that is gorgeous. Aside from the rear and front fans cycling in opposite directions, it is all so uniform and professional-looking.
I’ve been waiting since CES! OMFG finally can build my new Gaming PC! The satisfying sound of the unwrapping! I cannot wait get that link up ASAP thanks Paul! Love it!
Pain cpu 8086k, gpu 1080ti, 16gb Corsair ram, 360mm Corsair radiator, 500gb ssd, 1tb ssd, 3rb hd, aorus mobo, 850 PSU, it’s all on my kit at www.kit.com/fox_mamba if your interested in more detail. Very great cooling best case ever for me
I like the stealthy CoolerMaster logos on the power button and CPU AIO cooler. I wish they would do the same for the logo on the front mesh of the case - or even better remove it entirely.
ive had this case sitting brand new in a box for over 2 years waiting to build. life happens and now the gpu/cpu shortages arent helping at all lol. hopefully ill finally be able to build my dream pc this year!
Awesome piece of kit, I'm heavy into USB ports and would love to see a Type A and also Type C 3.1 at the front. The number of USB ports is actually a strong reason why I would buy this case.
The issue I've read with the front I/O is having enough ports on the motherboard to support all of them. The only solution I've seen to allow all front I/O ports to function at full capacity is to install a PCI-E USB expansion card. What do you think?
xCrOaTiAnx its been a painful wait. I've been waiting since they first showcased it :c disappointed at the lack of LED psu shroud tho, i thought that was really unique
I bought an H500M back in Feb 2023. Out of the box mine already had the front glass panel installed. Nor was the tower packed in a grey carry sack as seen at the 1:47 time stamp. This is my 3rd build and will be a HEDT build. One thing I would have liked to see CM do is give the option to have either glass or mesh on the top like they did on the front.
I really love how the side vents in front wrap around, it gives it a unique look that I like a lot. The Plastic fail was awesome!!!. you made me smile a lot. as far as the front swappable mesh and glass panel, I think I would remove the screws and use round velcro on the screw spots, that way when I game I can use the mesh and swap it easily when I am just watching videos, surfing or trying to impress my friends ;p Thanks again for the awesome video.
This case looks amazing, I've been in love with these double 200mm fans since the first H500 came out and the tempered glass is always beautiful plus the front IO is looking healthy as well. I'm definitely buying this once I get the money for a new rig.
Definitely a good idea to remove the cooler master name and just have the hexagon shaped power button. One thing that puts me off CM products is I really don't like their logo, but a simple hexagon is really sleek. Shame they didn't do the same with the logo on the front of the case.
200mm There's only 200mm Fans on market and it is CoolerMaster and I don't think we can buy them because they are Silent but it doesn't bring lot of air.. Every good people replace the 200mm fans for 3x140mm
Such a great case; I’ve been waiting to see this properly released and reviewed since it was first announced. If no one releases anything better before my next build, then this will be its home. :) Those larger mesh sections that also provide increased distance between the panels and fans look amazing. For me, it’s all about airflow, functionality and size, and aesthetics; this case appears to deliver on all counts. I'm definitely looking forward to all the Computex 2018 coverage as well.
How did you get your AIO to fit in a push/pull config? From what I read the clearance up to is only 43mm, but to do push pull you need at least 52mm on the inside. I'm looking at picking this case up soon, but need to get this sorted out.
yay for addressable unicorn poop! i like the front panel much more than the previous versions, because it looks like you can use the glass panel without choking down the air flow as much as the older setups. and i do like that cooler master power button, its classy without being gaudy.
I just recently did a custom loop water cooling build in the h500p mesh. I will say, I think spending the extra 50 for the h500m is definitely worth it, especially since you are already paying so much for custom water cooling. You cannot mount radiators thicker than 30mm on the top with the h500p, but you can on the h500m. Also the front radiator bracket on the h500m goes all the way up to the top, where it only had holes cutout for 2 fans on the h500p. So trying to do a push pull fan configuration on the h500p is a huge pain, and you end up having to put spacers on the top fan so it doesn't bend (half the fan is on the bracket, half of it is off). Anyways, I think the h500m isn't worth the extra money if you are only aircooling / using an aio, but for custom liquid cooling, the h500m is definitely worth the extra money.
I kinda like the old cooler master imprinted logo.I still have one of there old glite series case which still run like a baws and are one of the sturdiest cases ever.
I LOVE cooler masters new way of putting their logo on. I hate when case or any part has overkill badges, all we need is a nice insignia. Good job cooler master
Just curious...I'm looking to buy the h500m, but I was concerned about the clearance for mounting an AIO up top. I was going to go with the Cooler Master ML360R, but the clearance listed on the site for mounting an AIO up top is only 43mm. From what I read I thought the mounting for the ML series was over 50mm including fans. I see not only did you get it in, but you also got it in a push/pull config. What fans are you using and did you have to do anything special to make it fit?
It's probably too late for you but I'm trying to figure out how he did that as well as I just bought this case and the AIO he's using. It looks like its the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R. However its listed as having 52mm in height with fans and rad. I have no idea how he got the bottom fans and the rad to fit underneath the mounting plate thingy but I guess it is possible if you only use a 240 aio and mount it to the middle of the plate with low clearance RAM
I saw the bottom of that coldplate after you took the plastic off and you can see just how rough that surface is.. I thought my 40 dollar 120mm AIO was weird for being so rough and needing lapped, but I see now even the high end ones are skimping on smoothing the contact surfaces. Oi.
now make a smaller version, this thing is way to big for me also i'm not sure if i just wasn't paying attention but that front panel doesn't have any kind of dust filter or does it?
I've been watching hours and hours of case reviews. This is the case that I am going with. I love the GPU sag mount. Looks like you can mount a 360mm AIO as well. A bit pricey but the thing looks beautiful.
May i know what diameter of radiator and fans he put on, on top exhaust to achieve sandwich set up. I have watchef other videos but sandwich set they say is unachievable
Damn, I was really tempted by the case but the lack of cable management hole/s at the the bottom of the motherboard tray (like the H500P/mesh) makes for quite a messy look, having to cram the the usb cables and RGB cables of to the side. (9:12 bottom wires)
Not plastering brand names everywhere is a good thing, also shows a bit of confidence in their design
You’re cranking out a lot of videos just before Computex. Thanks for working so hard for the sake of informing and entertaining all of us Paul.
Thanks Kyle! It was a lot of work last week but it was worth it. I've got a couple more in queue before the show!
I don't usually care for RGB and tempered glass, but that is gorgeous. Aside from the rear and front fans cycling in opposite directions, it is all so uniform and professional-looking.
I actually prefer that power button without the branding. There is a quality to subtlety!
I really like this case over the white one with this setup. With the whole blackout scheme it allows those RGB lights to really shine. Great job.
I’ve been waiting since CES! OMFG finally can build my new Gaming PC! The satisfying sound of the unwrapping! I cannot wait get that link up ASAP thanks Paul! Love it!
Ben I already bought it on Newegg and the baby is running smooth
@@FoxMamba what did you put in it?

Always learning & laughing with/at you
That's what the case should have been from the begining, good effort
Couldnt stop laughing when you pulled the plastic off hillarious, couldn't really hear it though maybe try and get the mic closer 😂
😂😂😂
them people that have orgasms over it fuck my life!
I love the direction we're going with PC cases. There's so many options.
I like the stealthy CoolerMaster logos on the power button and CPU AIO cooler. I wish they would do the same for the logo on the front mesh of the case - or even better remove it entirely.
5:53 - first time I heard your editor(?) talk. I like him! :)
I like the silhouette logo. I shows a lot of class from the manufacturer and it's cleaner overall. It's very satisfying!
Cool case man. And I ALWAYS enjoy your choice of music for your videos. Safe travels!
OUCH Paul! And I saw the sadistic grin on your face as you did that. lol
ive had this case sitting brand new in a box for over 2 years waiting to build. life happens and now the gpu/cpu shortages arent helping at all lol. hopefully ill finally be able to build my dream pc this year!
Best video I’ve seen of this case so far. Thanks for showing us this.
Did you notice better cooling with a radiator on top or behind the front fans? Thinking of starting a new build with this case.

Thank you Paul for those wonderful satisfying sounds of removing plastics. I can now die in peace...
I just bought this case and came looking for a vid on it and my god these comments are true. The plastic peeling is top notch, so good
I really like this new minimalistic approach with the logo. also i kinda regret not waiting for this case

Thanks so much for making this useful video. This is a real comparison between these both side by side that I really need.
5:50 No big deal Paul. We all make mistakes. Don't feel bad buddy 👍☺️☺️
This case is my next PC's new home. Always did like Coolermaster, back when I had the HAF-X
LOVE the dual 200mm 200mm should be the standard. one or two or four or more ... they are nearly silent, move lots of air, and keep things cool.
This case looks amazing, I've been in love with these double 200mm fans since the first H500 came out and the tempered glass is always beautiful plus the front IO is looking healthy as well. I'm definitely buying this once I get the money for a new rig.
Love the coolermaster logo without the name! Looks soooo much cleaner!

I like their logo, and now it's missing it gives me a note of the case being a knock-off...
Russell Jackson Agreed the case is amazing but that logo is so damn ugly
Can't say I've ever left on the protective cover before but seeing someone else do it is kinda enjoyable lol
im normally not one of your biggest fans but dude that was the best peel ever
What are these cooler master 120mm adressable RGB fans called?

Nice one, planned a mistake to teach us what not to do. Clever teaching.
LOL!!! the most satisfying ripping off of plastic sound EVERRRRR
this is what I hoped for in the H500p , the acrylic is cheap for the H500p
lacucaracha111111 the top is still a "motel 6 bed" according to GN though lol
BOS2161 hahaha that whole deal is my favorite thing to happen in the pc case world
Thanks Paul for showing us newbies that even tenured builders make dumb little mistakes haha!
Another excellent video, thanks Paul!
I really dig the HEX with no words. We already know it is CoolerMaster. Just looks more pleasing to not have the words emblazoned on everything.

Careful when you close your eyes when he removes the plastic cling wrap. You might explode with excitement. It's quite satisfying to hear.
can the h500m support a 360 rad on the top?
Yep, I put the NZXT Kraken x72
That's a sexy af case. I'm also really glad they added the bracket part for the gpu sag
7:50, was he doing a push and pull configuration for the cooler?
I'm in love with this case. First time for everything.
Holy cow that case is beautiful!!!!
I still love the old Coolermaster Stacker case, wish they'd do an updater version. That and the Antec 900 were fantastic cases.
i wouldT peel the plastic until you bulid the pc... no finger prints an no scrathes ;)
He only did it for the show.
It's satisfying tho
agreed!
Glass can be cleaned, and it doesn't scratch easily.
i mean, he didnt peel the plastic on the aio til he built the pc
"Reverse-ASMR" was a bold move. I can respect that even if my ears are now bleeding.
Best looking CM 500 case yet!

because I only buy used parts.

Nice build Paul!,,,,

There is a different mesh for the front panel? Does that protect the interior of dust?
Not a big fan of that case but it's looking pretty slick. Also I'm happy seeing even an experienced PC builder makes noob mistakes like me.

love the beats man!!
wow computex is next week? that was quick man how time flys. :)
Paul, On the CPU cooler radiator you installed 2 extra fans. Might I ask you what fans you used for the extra fans?
Consulta: qué ventilador le pusiste en la parte posterior del gabinete H500M al final del video, es de 120mm o de 140mm?
I really like the Cooler Master logo!
Awesome to show the fail. So glad I'm not the only one that does that. : )
Is that an ML240R radiator/fan assembly on top of the case?
Nice ASMR video.
Also the build looks great.
how do you connected the fan led? with it's own controller or external rgb controller? many thanks
One question, could you do a heat comparison between the two front panels? I'm interested in seeing what (if any) difference there is.
I saw the bottom of that coldplate after you took the plastic off and you can see just how rough that surface is.. I thought my 40 dollar 120mm AIO was weird for being so rough and needing lapped, but I see now even the high end ones are skimping on smoothing the contact surfaces. Oi.
Where can you buy the 120mm ARGB fans used for the exhaust in the back? I tried looking for them, but I could not find them for sale anywhere.......
So you cant do a push pull set up with the AIO at the top?
You should do a sleeper build. No Rgb components at all and have it be insane while looking cheap.
This convinced me to go for RGB on my next build.
now make a smaller version, this thing is way to big for me

Got the white case what type of radiator you're using? noob here thanks in advance
you can use a quarter to install that side panel
Can you put 200mm fans on top ?
Answer me please,Is it true that if you have an ATX motherboard in this case you have to remove a metal peace in order to pass the cables?
Could u make a video about water cooler installation ?
May i know what diameter of radiator and fans he put on, on top exhaust to achieve sandwich set up. I have watchef other videos but sandwich set they say is unachievable
I'm very far behind. I've had my NZXT phantom since around 2011 for my gaming PC. Do these new cases not have spots for disc drives?
Can you put the black site on the other side (because i dont have space at the right site of my table)
Damn, I was really tempted by the case but the lack of cable management hole/s at the the bottom of the motherboard tray (like the H500P/mesh) makes for quite a messy look, having to cram the the usb cables and RGB cables of to the side. (9:12 bottom wires)
So.. what do you use a type c port for on a pc? To charge it?
Why you always remove protective films off of tempered glass _before_ building PC? it really hurts OCD.
That is a good looking case.Thanx
1:50 YES! Thank you Paul! :D
