Thanks to Hyro for shooting all the beautiful drone footage you see in this video. Be sure to visit his channel, it’s linked in the description. I also linked to all the tour operators we used, and to our reviews of the Ritz-Carlton Aruba and Hyatt Regency Aruba!

      Today is your mother's birthday.
She doesn't know that you manage a RUclips channel, nothing.
      She's alone and not well.
Could be a blessing if you and your sisters start to be in touch with her. She needs emotional support and care.

Same with me. My mother and grandparents were brought up in Aruba. I also have lived there, and left in 1978 at the age of 16. Our Island was untouched by Hardly any tourist. Sorry to say this but the Tourist Industrie already have distroyed our Island. Thanks to the terrible selfish brainless government on the Island. They don't love there own Island.

As an Aruban I really enjoyed your video, especially that you talked of its history and highlighted the environmental devastation of the utv’s and atv’s. I would like to add too that the oil refinery in Aruba (and Curaçao) was of enormous importance in the allied war effort against nazi Germany. If it wasn’t for the fuel supplied by these refineries, the war would have dragged longer. It was of such vital importance that the island was attacked by German u-boats. The torpedoes missed the refinery though a few people were killed. Because of this danger Arubans were required to live in total darkness at night to prevent nighttime attacks. Arubans scrupulously complied with this requirement.
