My fiance and I will be visiting Aruba in a few weeks and I can tell you that we have found these videos to be of great help! Thank you for all the valuable information you have provided on your channel!
Great video, Hyro! I am looking forward to touring the Aruba Aloe factory in September- we missed it on our trip 5 years ago. We did, however indulge in several Aruba Aloe products on the last trip and they are amazing and smell awesome! We may also check out the glass blowing place too! Thank you for all of the recommendations! :)
Great to hear Wendy. The day of this filming was on a Saturday but I recommend you to visit during a week day to see the workers busy in the factory and do the outside presentation.
I'll be staying in Oranjestad in a few weeks with my family. I plan on checking out the double decker trolley. And we might check out the donkey sanctuary too. Thanks for the tips!
We went to the donkey sanctuary and my daughters loved it! My oldest daughter is 18 and she was very reluctant at first because of the smell. But then when we got to feed and pet the donkeys (and cats) she loved it. We will definitely be going back in the future.
Always good to see you and Marlene. After 3 times in Aruba we still kick ourselves for not having visited certain attractions. All the more reason to keep coming I suppose. We do remember your showing us the Donkey Sanctuary though. That was pretty cool.
Another great video. 4 more weeks and wife and I will be there. Is the Aloe plant close to palm beach area. Also the bus that you were on does that past thru palm beach. TIA.
Good day Hyro. I love all the videos you do. I've been going to Aruba from the states Vermont to be exact for more then 8 times and I still learn and find something new to explore from your videos. Keep up the good work and maybe we can meet up next time I'm on the island? One Love🙏🏾❤️🇦🇼
Sounds great Chris, perhaps we can. Just contact me and perhaps we can setup a meeting day/time, it would be great! Glad to hear my videos are helping!
I've been following you religiously thanks for the video! if you can squeeze out a video about lounges or nightclubs in aruba within the next two weeks that would be greatly appreciated!!😂
Mooie suggesties allemaal Hyro.
Love your videos! I was wondering if u have any tips and tricks for flying a drone there since the rules are quit strict e.g. calling the tower, filling out a form, local phone number etc.
Depending on your drone but yes a local phone number helps because there is a large restriction zone that needs to be unlocked. Official rules do require what you mentioned but I’ve heard of few that do that. My recommendation is to fly with height restrictions since there are often patrol helicopters flying at low altitudes.
Thanks for watching Jennifer🙌🏼 It goes up till the end of the mainstreet then briefly the same route back but will split about half way via another street back to the port.
Hello Hyro!! We will be visiting Aruba in late August..🤗 we will be staying at the Divi Phoenix hotel and was just wondering if you can recommend any near by restaurants? Preferably walking distance..Kid friendly..please and thank you
Hi Kuntaer, thank you for your question. Your best best is to walk towards the Riu resort and beyond, there will be plenty of choices. Some more kid friendly than others. But if you would like something a bit more quiet and different, head on to the nearby Windmill. I made a vlog about it a while back and there is also a Sushi & Peruvian fusion restaurant. The Diana’s pancakes will also be opening soon.
Good question… I have seen it ride without a cruise in port but their schedule is weird. I believe if no cruise in port on a saturday, they won’t ride.
@@LetsgowithHyro Thanks Hyro, We've made it a practice to avoid going downtown when a cruise ship is in port & I don't recall seeing the trolley running. So, we'll have to make a point of going downtown when a ship is in if we want to take a ride on the trolley.
Thank you for your question. Not all of the attractions have wheelchair acces. The museums are your best bet. Some resorts have special wheelchairs for the beach sand.
I really want to visit aruba but am struggling to find the rt location and hotel to stay at. I will be traveling alone at the end of June hopefully. Need something affordable and on a beach close to activities. Also can u tell me how to adopt a donkey and do you get a certificate and updates on u donkey
Hello Eileen, getting an affordable place on the beach (directly) and close to activities is not easy. Many stay at an airbnb and rent a car and it's still cheaper than staying at a large resort, perhaps that could be an option? For the Donkey I left the Facebook link in the description of the video. You can contact them there and they will be in contact with you to explain everything.
@@LetsgowithHyro I was able to rent a friend's timeshare at Casa del Mar. I'll be there starting 6/25. Do u do small group tours or can I join in on another traveler's as I'm traveling alone and it's my first trip to Aruba
@@eileenmercado3218 hi I'm staying in Saveneta at the Coral Reef Beach apartment rentals. It's about 20mins from oranjestad. It's next door to flying fishbone and a quick 5mins walk from Zeerover and Old Man and the Sea. It's 9 apartment rentals that are sized from a studio to a family suite. I paid $83 a night. The Aloe plant is about a 10 minute drive from Palm Beach. If you meant the street car/tram, no, it’s only in Oranjestad.

How does one get around in Aruba? Any public transportation? How does the local population manage?
Yes there is the AruBus and many use personal transportation (mostly cars).
Hyro, thank you so much.🙏 On my "to do list" is certainly the water purifying system (as number one). How can I get this one, quickest possible!?
Hello Margo, check at webaruba.com It might not be available right now, try writing them if you can find the Plant Tours.
Thanks for your video! For the tram, does it go in a big circle? You can get off and then get back on once you have finished touring that area?

As long as there is sitting space you can get back on at anytime.

Music is too loud. Turn it down to not be blasted then i can't hear you talk when you start. Background music should be IN THE BACKGROUND.
My father has that problem too.
how difficult or easy is it to park downtown? I'm flying in and picking up a rental but I'd like to see downtown before I head to saveneta
It's fairly easy. Make sure to pick a white parking box and not the yellow ones.
