I swapped them, but it didnt help. But even with both off, the high beams still work. So they both might be broken, some people would have to replace both. Once i replace both, ill let you know.

Thanks so much!! Saved me unknown $$ (and time) by not having to go to the Auto Shop. $29 dollars and only a few minutes to have fully functioning headlights. Can't thank you enough for your willingness to help us all! And, I just subscribed! :-)

thank you so much yes it does help me the exact same thing I mean the exact same thing was going on with my car and the repair shop said it was going to be expensive so I am going to be trying this myself I am a woman so I think he was trying to get over on me
Do you have any advice on a single headlight out? I changed the bulb I also removed the fuse and it looks good. Would that same relay affect just a single bulb?

I have a 2007 Envoy. No low beams. I changed bulbs & fuses and still no low beams. Took it to the shop & he changed the switch inside on the dash, charged me $150 plus parts 🤬 and still NO low beams! I went out myself & changed the part you just showed and whatda know!!! I now have low beams! Sweet geeesh-us I just love how garages see a woman & screw me over🤬
Hey guys I figured it out! I'm not trying to be funny but because it appeared that both low beam headlights went out at the same time I thought it was an electronical issue but it wasn't the case all I did was change the low beam headlights bulbs. After countless hours and buying the wrong things it was just the bulbs. SMH...lol
Thanks! The Relay fixed the low beams on my GMC Envoy, different part number for Envoy than Trailblazer but same thing mostly. Only now my high beams only work when I pull back the lever to flash them. High beams don't work when I push lever forward to keep them on. Any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it. Again Thank you!
I have a question!! So I am obviously having this problem HOWEVER my low lights work on occasion (they will switch on and off randomly or come on sometimes and not others) do you think that is a greater issue than this simple fix? (Like a wiring problem?)
Didn't help me so apparently possibly both of the bulbs that came in the new light housings I bought just plain old blew out but didnt hurt to try!!! 😂
I had the same problem with my 2009 Silverado, so I changed the relay and that did not help. My light bulbs had to be replaced. I should have checked them first and then the fuses and relays.
THANK YOU! I just fixed my lights! One thing to note, there are 2 relay things one for the fan and one for the lights. I guessed which one I needed to replace got it wrong the first time & got it the second time (duh) but nothing bad happened Soooo that doesn't mess anything up, right?
Do you happen to have any information on how to fix my low beam? The driver's side day runner light comes on, but when it gets dark and/or I turn my headlights on it doesn't switch to the low beam. Any ideas? Passenger side works just fine!
My dr. side headlight on my 06 trailblazer will shut off and come on while im driving and even when car is parked. I replaced headlight housing with aftermarket factory replacement housings about 6 months ago or so. I think it might be headlight socket but not for sure. Would like your opinion before I cut into wire harness. TY

I replaced the relay for the headlamps, and still no lights. I checked the fuses, and bulbs, all good. I guess the next thing is to check continuity on the wiring?
@@CheapGeek To let you know how I made out... Yes, I checked the "Fog Lamp" Switch. I tried a new one and no luck. It turned out that both headlamp bulbs blew at the same time! Checking the fuses is a good thing to do. If both headlights are out. It's more than likely the HDM. Your headlights have 2 fuses, 1 for left and 1 for the right. It would be odd for both of those fuses to be bad (blown) at the same time. It's more than likely the HDM.. :)

Brian Spencer there’s typically a fuse or relay for the left and right low beams. They can be separate. Checked the fuse box behind the middle back seat?
CheapGeek Yeah, I’ve replaced the fuses for both low beams and checked the bulbs using the passenger side headlight (both bulbs work). I’m starting to think it’s a wiring issue with the connector for the bulb. By the way, thank you for the replies and help.

Anyone have this issue? Troubleshooting options or suggestions welcome. 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ Driver’s side low-beam headlight issue over the last couple of years. Replaced bulb. Replaced fuse. Replaced solid state relay. All seemingly resolved the issue for a while. Using standard halogen bulbs for replacement. Driver’s side low-beam headlight issue over the last couple of years. Replaced bulb. Replaced fuse. Replaced solid state relay. All seemingly resolved the issue for a while. Using standard halogen bulbs for replacement.
As it is now, every time the vehicle is started, the driver’s side headlight does not illuminate. Upon touching/pulling/inserting the fuse, the headlight illuminates. My best guess is the port is going bad on the integrated fuse relay box, approximately a $1000 fix.
