Never cheat you feet….as an avid walker and on my feet all day for work proper shoes and insoles make such a huge difference. Thank you for diving into this topic and shining light on it.
EXACTLY!!!!! DANCERS, ESPECIALLY BALLET DANCERS HAVE TO KEEP THEIR ANKLES AND FEET STRONG AND PLIABLE TO BE ABLE TO JUMP LEAP LAND HOING "THRU THE FOOT" ....ROLL THRU THE FOOT. LAND TOES, BALL OF THE FOOT THEN THE HEEL. THEN REVERSE TO GO UP. I noticed D.J.'s smooth strong walk when shooting and approaching the target the other day. VERNON ur attention to detail incredible!!!!
Got injured from last week's push day training, last episode of injury and hurt are just in time. Cannot wait to go back to the gym, thank you for the solid content as always.
Really needed this. Been lazy tying my vans and I think my bilateral plantar pain is coming from that. Still training in my vivos, game changer. My laces ripped off to motus flex pair though need to try another model. Probably was too aggressive on tightening them with the knit design
I need some help. I have bear foot shoes and will where them when I am home. While I’m at work I have to have a safety toe leather boot. What can I do to help? Is there a bear foot boot out there? I have foot pain daily.
Vivobarefoot makes a boot but it is definitely not a safety toe boot. In that situation you may have to find a insole that gives you some bounce from that rigid shoe. The safety steel toe boot is a hard work around for sure.
Do you recommend any brands in particular in the barefoot style of shoe I’m a 4E wide foot and really struggle to find shoes for all aspects of life I’m currently in a 4E asics and they’re horrible for any weight bearing exercises, they’re great for walking and running.
after years of destroying my feet from hard skydive landings, rucking, and foot patrols I've become extremely selective of footwear. Lifting: Reebox Nano 2.0, Vivobarefoot Primus lite, Adidas Adipower Running: Topo Atmos, Hoko Mach X, Asics Ventures Rucking: Oboz Sawtooth II and Altra Olympus Winter boots: Vasque Torre GTX Skydiving: Van Sk8-hi "Boat Shoes": Altama low tops Cleets: New Balance 442 V2 Pro CQB: New Balance FuelCell 4040v7 turf trainers Garrison: Danner MEB Casual: Xero Prio, Icarus ascent, Whitin, primus knit, splay freestyle, New Balance Tiago Lemos 1010 Formal: Gobi II & Carets
Anyone have any good recommendations for outdoor winter shoes? Looking for something like a lowcut hiking shoe, but still good for the feet during winter/colder weather
Danner trail 2650 (I think that’s the number?) they make a gortex one. Pretty wide toe box and super comfortable. Not necessarily warm but will keep you dry. If you don’t mind more of a boot, the mountain 600 is good too and offers a bit more warmth
Man i follow you and dj so much for the advice you guys give. No one dose it better. I would love to see dj try my morning warm up routine. . 600 situps with a 20 lb kettlebell 400 Russian twist with 35 lb kettlebell and finish with 600 pushups. That the warm up. 😊

Hope you are back ASAP!
Altras are the jam for the times you need a bit of cushion but still want a wide toe box and zero drop.
I got vivo's because of you and DJ and they're absolutely GOATed for working out
LETS GO! I have to take them on the road with me now, feels weird to workout without them!
I have flat, wide feet. I wear the New Balance skate shoes. Slightly more cushion than vans, still a flat sole but much wider.
Awesome topic! Thank you for talking about this. I have learned some much.
Glad it helped, more coming!

Carets determination safety boot, it’s about $250 but wide toe, zero drop, and safety toe

Altra has good options, especially for wide toe box and minimal drop

I love feet
Alright dj it’s time you start showing that Shipley hairline
Is DJ ok?
He seems to have really lost a lot of weight
He's probably just off his sauce cycle.
Had some health complications and was hospitalized couple months ago I think he’s in recovery
@@JesusChrist2000BC He is recovering from surgery.
@@deepchillstate5872 Because of his sauce cycle.
