I thought it was great to have the comparison - between the standard conversion and your grade. Across your channel, it's quite clear that you personally can take any camera and any lens and put together your own personal look. Which is great (and underlines the whole point that gear is only a small factor!) That's why it's kind of nice to have the standard look, to see what the lenses are producing out of camera

The quality your getting out of that camera and those lenses!!
I am sure you too,are blown away with the results your getting through this cleaner approach.
You have fine tuned an already very slick style. Its obviously your eye/location choices not the camera that made this really pop but the sharp charity your now working with is somehow creating narrative . It's gone from fantastic shot of your partner to making it feel like there is a relationship between a fashion model and the camera man as they walked together through the streets.

It makes me extremely excited. Also, yes focus throw is 270. Pricing appears to be $2149 per lens (according to Duclos lenses) or $1800 Eur (according to some EU site I saw before it appears to have been taken down). I think most people are agreed on not shooting super blown out all the time, but it can be a good option to have and will be a creative decision for some projects. Or when shooting in smaller or darker spaces. They look great stopped down too.

@@EdProsser I recently downloaded a sample R3D footage from Red website. It's a Red komodo footage with a skater. I mean, I don't know, it was very hard to color grade that even after changing the Metadata to log. However when I screen grab your log footage and try to grade, it's smooth. Planning to buy a Red Komodo so want to know how to acquire clean image in raw everytime like you do

@@vignesht8199 Probably you did CST from RED log in a wrong way. To verify that try to enable Davinci Color Managment and compare results with you previous grading. And take a look on videos about IPP2 workflow in Davinci. On the official RED RUclips channel you can find video about RAW settings in Davinci.

For the love of God, can you use a subject who will smile? You and Mateo or whatever the guy's name is does the butterfinger LUTs use your wives as subjects and quite frankly it's cringe. Like it's so distracting seeing them really not doing anything but just gaze out in space like they're doing something for the camera. What about a micro short? Something with actual acting and cinematography. I know that sounds harsh but if you got money to buy a RED V Raptor or what toys money can buy, get an actual model or actor/actress that will actually have a better presence in front of the camera.
