Spent 9 years doing this job 89 to 99 started on chieftain arv then upgraded to carrv when I ended up at 7 armd as we used to call it gods chosen trade

As REME T/A we didn’t operate armoured Recovery. But I did have a days familiarisation on one out in Germany. Driving it is awesome. 50 Ton Capstan winch on those.

Still using 43 variants. They were supposed to be gotten rid of in the 90's.

Love this kit!
No bang without the RE and the REME.
A tank that is out of fuel or stuck is just a lump of (very expensive) metal.
