*writes down "I Hope you 'Windfall' down the stairs"*
Same. The amount of time my playgroup(specifically 2 people) have windfalled away a perfect opening hand from me is infuriating 🤣🤣
There are SO MANY cool tattoos between all the people at the table.
Sefris is one of my favorite commanders, glad I got to see them in action.
You ladies are doing an epic job, Scrybabies are in my top five favorite MTG RUclips channels to watch.
One of these days, I need to get Lua and Ian to sign my borderless foil Winota. She was my first CEDH deck and it's 4 cards away from being proxy free!
Lua and Tori are my favorite creators to follow. Keep up the great work!
Great theme. Great line up. Much love
Seconded! Excellent content as always.
It's always funny when opponents play powerful cards against graveyard recursion. YOU DID THIS TO YOURSELF! 😅😅😅
Love the deck selection. Great work!
Love finding new people to watch on your guys show!
Peachy acting like cody left the ancient silver dragon untapped after it attacked but peachy was the one that untapped it lmao
Fun game! I just hope Tori is having a good time and has a stone cold poker face.
Great gameplay, thanks for the upload. It's always a treat to see Sefris doing Sefris stuff.
Moral of the game? Don't let a player draw 1d20 cards and remove the creature immediately if possible (or team-up and remove the player with all you got).
31:33 Lua could have put down all the lands she hit with Genesis Ultimatum aswell if I am not mistaken. They are permanents too.
Seconded.
You sir are correct
I love Peachy!
the rest of you are pretty ok too, I guess. (I really love the energy of this pod!)
Ocular pat down ftw!
Does Cody have a card where he doesn’t have to pay the life for reanimate ? He’s played it twice and haven’t seen him pay life for it
Rolling the die for combat 😢
I love sefris
Cody has too many responses
Love you guys you'll always get views from me even if I can't watch all of it sometimes.... Playing so much more fun than spectating ...😢
Why is Lua looking at the top card of her library whenever... that feels bad... its a bad habit.
She had an elven chorus out. Allows you to look at the top card.
The blue player wins or I riot.
Obligatory comment to help with the algorithm slavelord.
Codys deck was definitely on a different wavelength than the other decks 😆 Cody... buddy.... if the other three players spend most of the game not playing magic, its not a fun time for them 😆
Edit: Im gonna be honest I wouldve checked out in that game 😆 If I know someone is playing control then I will pick very specific decks to at least keep myself afloat
Nah, his deck is not in a "different wavelength" or anything, he just drew 20+ cards with a risky reanimator gambit (standard for reanimator decks) and threat assessment wasn't good by players who had answers.
Take into account you need:
1. A way to throw a big creature into the grave (Tortured Existence)
2. A way to reanimate it (Animate Dead)
3. Not getting countered
4. The enchantment (Animate Dead in this case) to survive
5. The creature to survive one entire rotation (as it doesn't have haste)
6. Get a high roll on the die in this case
If you have 20+ cards than the rest of the players, yes, you'll have more answers to everything, that's totally normal. The deck is not control, he just drew 20+ cards. If you check the decklist, he has 6 targeted removal spells and only 2 counters, doesn't sound like a "control build" in any way. Also, Tori had a Swords to Plowshares. We don't know if she had it since turn 1 or was extremely unlucky to draw it just after the dragon hit but, if she had it from before, the answer was there and she didn't use it. She also didn't use it before the second time the dragon attacked, netting the 20+ drawn cards player more cards. This concludes my TED Talk.
Don't get me wrong, I had a blast with the game and they seem to had fun, it just you need to remove the dragon ASAP (or the player if you can't).
Why didn’t Cody win waaaaayyy sooner than he did? Lol
only hearing you shouting and complaining really triggers me and dont make me want to try edh
Would not watch again
3:03 whining about a "busted turn" and 3sec later playing a tutor on turn 2. Into turn 3 Rhystic and Sol Ring?😴 Lame.
