    Very good summary and tricks. Especially the stretch idea.

  • @wladynosz1565
    @wladynosz1565 4 года назад +6

    Summary:
    - Stretch body parts (like feathering the ab muscles, when landing/jumping)
    - build in anticipation, before an unexpected action (like camera focus for a few sec., or slide towards attention-area, or even wait a few sec./slowly begin action ---> speed up [slow motion, if otherwise unlogical] can be broken, if needed/fits)
    -> Next: momentum, personality, impact

    Thank you for making this! I've learned about Squash and Stretch before but I don't think I've ever seen someone apply it to brickfilms. I always assumed Lego parts were too rigid for this to be applicable, but clearly there are some clever ways to make it happen.

  • @DragonBrickStudios
    @DragonBrickStudios 6 лет назад +4

    While the principles of animation are not a new concept to me, I found it very interesting to see how you were able to apply squash and stretch to a minifigure! Keep up the great work, I always look forward to the next installment! :D
