Female cats can mate with many different males and carry kittens to all of them at the same time. So one litter can all have different fathers and still be born at the same time from the same mother.

That’s because female cats often have multiple fathers to their litters of kittens. If a female is in heat and multiple male cats show up, she will mate with them and different kittens will have different fathers.

Even if the father was orange, girls get color from both parents so boys will always be the color of their mom. The mom only has black to give the kittens so I'm wondering how the ginger cat got there
The mom can have a recessive gene for orange and that’s why one of them is orange. It’s all genetics.

Well one day my grandma showed up with a tuxedo female baby and said do you want her and I said yes and my husband came in and saw me saying yes and he didn't say no so ....
Within hours of the kitty being with us my husband already took her over and named her Angelica and our dogs new this kitten is the new boss and they babied her around.
She sleeps on my husbands pillow every night right above his head
I had a feeling if my husband saw a kitten he would fall for her...and he's a mechanic with a rough way of talking and grew up really rough, and mechanics always look dirty from the grease and the oil and the dirt and he doesn't look like the kind of guy who sleeps cuddled to a baby kitten..but he loves her and spoils her. Maybe your dad would be okay with it if he was around a cat a little bit and sees how awesome and loving they are...maybe he is allergic or maybe he thinks they are more work then they are worth and just doesn't understand how fulfilling a pet can be.
I had a cat once. Even though my mom was allergic she let me keep it, the we moved out of the house because the landlord was selling her property, after that we dropped it off at my little sisters Nali's. Then a few months later I saw that all the kittens and cats were gone... Then they told me they either ran away or were taken by owls. She was still a kitten😪 she was sweet.

Thank you for feeding this lovely little kitty family! I feed 7-8 homeless kitties in my backyard. They are fed twice per day & given fresh water. My house in way in the back away from the street. They feel safe here & do not have to worry about being harmed. 🐈💞🐈💞

@@kalopsia889 the fathers tend to kill the male kittens to get rid of competition but usually leave the females alone, so they can mate with them when they're of reproductive age, though its not really uncommon for them to also kill female kittens too

Not just males, that is a myth. Both male and females are known to kill their young in extreme situations. Occasionally on the wild when a mother has a number of kittens she can't support them all and knows that they won't all make it because of lack of food, so her only choice to save her kittens is to kill the weakest for protein in order to save her other's life.

I remember we found a pregnant cat at our summer home. She gave birth in our yard, 5 kittens. We ourselves had a male cat there and when he came to see what the heck was going on with bug eyes, the mother lunged forward and right through my doll house which he was hiding behind, and pieces flew eeeverywheere. He ran like hell. She still let me pet them though. We got the mom and all kittens to foster homes and they were adopted!

I rescued a mom like that and she gave birth to three kittens, a male who looked exactly like her- white with those distinctive black markings, a little tuxedo female like the one year, and a gray and white female.
The mom and her identical son used to curl up together their whole lives. He ended up three times her size.

@@Kiwiqwp Although, it's rare for a Tom cat to do that in the presence of a human. Especially if the Tom concludes that the mother and kittens belong to the human (which he might given the circumstance). He's not going to want to aggravate a 6 foot tall being who's got 170 pounds on him.
