You're bright, and clearly have a scientific mind - you see cause and effect and are able to extrapolate in your mind. I'm almost 50, and have had struggles, just like you, at times during my life. I think much of suffering for younger people is caused by social media (Instagram, TikTok, Snap-bollocks) and due to youtube shorts, you tube as well. We need to find 'meaningful' work in my opinion (doing things meaningful with our time), that is the key to feeling 'purpose' and connection, and happiness. That's where I'm 'at' at the moment. Above all, be VERY careful of socal media - it's a recipe for major mental health issues - it's not good. Use the internet the 'reach out' and connect with REAL people.

The narcissism, the perfection, the feel good mentality when it comes to politics, religion, morality... it feels good to lash out, it feels good to be "adhering to standards", mocking on others who don't have, it feels good to justify the punishment that others have done, without realizing it's two sides of the same coin. I tell ya, people are narcissists when it comes to social media, even the victims who portray themselves as victims of narcissists, they themselves are one. The mechanism for human survival, the ego has become one of the most corrupted, twisted mechanisms for humans to survive. I started watching all your latest videos, I appreciate what you're saying very much. You are exactly on point about everything you've been saying. I'm about the same age in my mid-20's now where I started also realizing all of these truths about life today especially having to live on my own and survive. Your words helped push me to continue my goals and personal development over the week. There's a lot that I was doing wrong in life thinking I was just a good person but realized I was weak and naïve in so many areas. A lot of people need to hear the same words, many are too distracted and uninterested in personal growth. If people around us wised up to these issues and cared about personal accountability, we would improve the mental health crisis and achieve better communities that try to look after one another.
Just seeing this right after the “Life is Bullshit” vid. I’m glad to see the resolve in this one. We all feel like life is BS at times, but the purpose of life is to find your purpose. That means different things for different people. It’s not always comfortable, but the journey of finding the best version on yourself is a journey worth taking. Find the discipline, consistency, persistence to keep moving forward. Feelings come and go-good and bad. But the daily habits you form and keep will determine your journey. And don’t be afraid to fail. You will. That just means you tried something new-which deserves its own reward.

He's not looking for success or self improvement gurus. The meaning of life is apart from success. There are a lot of successful people who have committed suicide or mass murder. The world today is dominated by oligarchs who are killing masses with invented pandemics and unnecessary wars just because they are filthy rich n powerful but evil to the core.
I wish I had you telling me those things back in my days. Back in my days people are very harsh they don’t have the time and day to really tell you like how you’re telling us. The meaning of life is to improve and make yourself a better person. The bad times are actually when you learn the most and honestly ai would be the person I am today without those hard times. The hard times really has changed me for the better and was truly a blessing! Its so funny because I had the same thoughts when I was younger and still ponder on this same question still.
This is why I am a christian...we can all feel this world is broken by evil and pain and sin. Someday, I believe Jesus will set it right, thank God, and the lion will lie down with the lamb. There won't be anymore curse, and there won't be anymore death or pain. This is evil's hour, the world is a terrible, broken mess.
These are the kind of thoughts I had whenever I had some really good psychedelics. We forget that our experience in and of itself is an experience of no other, and we waste it by contemplating it. The purpose of life is to find God & to learn how to love. If we keep searching for the things in this world, we won’t find TRUE peace, joy, and love. We’ll find temporary peace & joy. All things here are temporary so it may seem like a cycle. Know that you were created & that our Creator loves each one of us. You may experience suffering (I know I did countless times), but now that I’m almost 50, I can say I’ve learned so much. All the hardships helped me to become the better & stronger me. I can see the purpose of my sufferings, but I wouldn’t ever want to go through them again, thats for sure. Always look for solutions & have a growth mindset. I don’t want to get too religious so I’ll say this much for now: God is REAL & He will allow things to happen ‘cause that is how we grow. In order to appreciate the light, you’ll have to experience darkness.
There are many, almost innumerable 'whys' to articulate for the way we live, and addressing some of them is where the progress to self-actualization kicks in. "Why do I want any of this? What does it do for me to have it? If that isn't the ticket, what is?" or "If that's only part of the answer, what's the rest?" What we devote ourselves to says a lot about who we are and want to be. If you don't devote yourself to anything, you're probably lost. Devote yourself to immorality, and you're still lost. At some point, you have to agree with your soul, and it's very tricky to even approach that element of yourself.
Exactly why I don't waste anymore at all I freeze everything and use everything until it can't be, has no more purpose in my life anymore. To win you just got to stop wasting everything even your time and what is in your mind.
We tend to take all positives for granted, and focus on negatives a lot. It's the "grass is always greener" mindset. I always try to be grateful for the good moments in life, even when I'm down. Because someone, or something could always be having a worse day than me. I may be down, but I'm still going to make the best choices I can, at least try. We'll all be dead someday, and when you get there, life is going to seem like the blink of an eye.

The purpose of life is LOVE. Everything else work toward it or express some way or fashion toward it. Like the sun, it shines freely upon everyone no matter if you're good or bad. It expresses freely with no condition...the question is...can you do the same? Can you not hate another person because they're not what you are or not what you want them to be? Can you not hate the world because you didn't get what you want? Can you not hate another animal for eating another because it has no rational mind, no ability to think like human? If you can do that, then you're on the right path and your purpose is genuine.
Over the years you will realize that it's not about adding, building and accumulating what we're conditioned to believe we need, but it's about shedding and dropping the lies, a carrot hanging from stick in front of us that whenever we get it, it turns out unfulfilling; then we start chasing new carrots on new sticks; we keep running and chasing, trying to fill that void in our heart, but it never gets filled. Seeing and recognizing that defective pattern and that bottomless hole in us will help you see true reasons why so many of us are miserable. It's an addiction, and we're all in denial. When you get tired of all this circus, or when you hit the rock bottom, and are desperate, call on Jesus. I don't know your spiritual convictions, and right now it might sound off putting or cringy and difficult/impossible to even think about asking Him for help (I was like that - didn't know how to treat myself well and I was a stubborn atheist). But just remember, when you've tried out everything and run out of options, call on Him, He will answer, and you'll be mind blown. Peace to you.

If i may, but for a moment. I was told by a mentor many years ago that it is most important to understand what you do not want. You have the rest of your life to figure out what you do want. This is important. Its important to understand that this is an extremely important thing to understand and gain access to. The knowledge of what you know you do not want. Its right up there with the need for food water and shelter. It is the understanding of ones self. The fastests way to destroy something (or someone) special, is to compare it to someing else. Fill in the blank. Make choices that make you happy. Honestly. Sometime i live like a loser. The "grind" mentality can be poison. I live simply and do not "grind" instead a quietly gather and train skill sets. Both with work and in my personal life. My point is. You dont need half of what you sated was needed. You just need to be honest with yourself today. I started a job about a month and a half ago and im already jumping ship for a different job. Why is that not job hoping? Because i took the time to understand myself and i can concisely speak about why this new job is a better fit than the other one. This is one example at the end goal. Once you get yourself and know yourself and what you do not want. It creates mental and emotional clarity. Both are needed for true strength. And all truly strong people are kind. You just gotta figure out you, bro. Find a mentor. Teachers illuminate the path. Your path so you can clearly make your decisions from the heart. Its not about all the things u gotta have. I have 1 friend. Its about your mind body and spirit being true to itself. Find a mentor. Youll go through dozens before you find the right fit. Then when you grow out of them. Find another. And on and on and on.
Thats exactly how I feel bro. I always feel like we're in a simulation and some fucked up psychopath made it possible for this world to be incredibly punishing, incredibly evil and is capable of giving unlimited suffering in so many shapes and forns.

bro, it's true that for us to live others have to step aside. But we weren't put here we emerged out of it. we are part of the system. nature always had different species that overtook each other. Now its us. Sure we are on a different scale in terms of impact, but we are here non the less. The important part is: Life isnt a zero sum game. There are so many possibilitys at the horizon to a greater future with less suffering. Death is a part of the game as is birth. No suffering is, on one side not possible and on the other side necessary to feel life and the good. (In certain bounds of course). We a conscious beings that can chase dreams. and i think its our responsibility (given by the ability of being conscious) to have those dreams pointed to direction that lets life flurish. Lets outgrow this planet, move industry in the sterile space and restore nature and let it have its way here. I think the beauty of this world lies in the continuation of nature. of human nature and of natural nature. we are here to observe and participate.
I think that this planet is a prison planet and maybe that's why we experience the evil. Somehow our souls have done wrong in the past and we were sent here. The good news for you I feel is that you're so aware of what this world is, that you are showing a older, mature, soul. It's really interesting that we as humans forget that without the circumstances we are born into, we are literally the same as any other animal in the wilderness. Humans have conquered the world thru tool making and organizing/disorganizing (apparently made possible thru our big brain to body ratio), and while that could say a lot about how great as a species we are, we are still completely in the dark about how insignificant our scope of history is. We could just be a blip in the entirety of nature on Earth, and yet we are always touting ourselves as the top of the food chain. Civilizations rise and fall, and all it takes is random chance. And there's a point to be made about how we, at this present moment, are stuck in a course of history and time that is beyond our control. We are always going to be affected by the things that are going on, and no matter how we will and wish things to existence, we are just going to be trapped in our own time and circumstances. And you are totally right, Kev, life is a constant loop of suffering, and even while we know this, we still fear death and desire to keep living. I still want to stuff my stomach with food that derive from sources of suffering which makes me feel like such a hypocrite saying I want to lead a more ethical life. And it's not just food (while the systems we deal with most of the times concern themselves with supplying food), but also the "essential items" we have to have in our daily lives. I really do wish the world made more sense... I wish the world was filled with love, and compassion, but small acts like that can't really detract from the complete picture of suffering. But at the end of the day, we can just say ignorance is bliss. I'm not saying no one should ever think deeper, but maybe there's a certain level of thought that just becomes nonproductive and destructive. I believe nature and ultimately our lives are born from a chaotic randomness, and that there's no meaning to our lives after all. We are all driven by impulses and maybe morals were created to help us make sense of the world around us in a certain angle. But to be honest, I still want to keep living, and I still want to imbue meaning into what I do. I want to make my parents/friends/partner proud, and love them with all my might even if it doesn't mean anything to anyone else. My life is insignificant, and so is anyone else's, but hell, I just want to be happy knowing that I made the time shared with these people I love worthwhile.

You are so right, everything has feelings and I was a vegetarian for years for the same reason. Everything seemed cruel and pointless and a distraction from the fact that we die in the end. Ask God to show you who you are. You are fearfully and wonderfully made brother. Do yourself an enormous favour and seek God seek Jesus now before everything else. You can have everything else but it is pointless. Love is the only thing that isn’t. The ultimate love is God and Jesus willingly laying down His life for all of us. I am pretty sure you know at least one Christian, ask them and keep being yourself, do what you love.
As a disabled person with "invisible" disabilities and forced for decades to try be "normal" until i collapsed health completely destroyed... I can't remember a day where I didn't wish I died as a child. Finding out about these disabilities late in life there are no supports, there are no opportunities, there isn't anything I can do anymore.

Just find a skill you are good at and keep crafting on it. For me I love cooking and culinary and it's one of those things that I always look forward to when I wake up in the morning to find what recipes to cook and experiment in the kitchen.
Unless you are a cat and live with my daughter Amber, she never wanted children so her 3 cats are her children and she loves them so much she makes sure she feeds them the proper nutrients and minerals enriched foods..toys all over the place, 3 cat trees, plenty of cat beds and hidey holes,scratching pads and poles,, never vet visits unless they hurt themselves after getting crazy on the catnip 😅, they are ger babies, names, Simon, Theo & Lilly..❤

Just like evolution of physical life on Earth, there is evolution of the soul, which shows up as wisdom. As to the purpose of life, we can rise above the eat-sleep-procreate world which is full of pain and suffering, and experience the happiness and peace that arises from gaining wisdom. What is wisdom? It's not the knowledge of scholars, scientists, theologians and those who are egoistic. Wisdom is gained by life experiences, learning from those who have wisdom, understanding one's emotions, developing love and compassion without attachment, and deep meditation.
Purpose of life is just to simply LIVE UR OWN LIFE without worrying bout "what people gonna say"...just live..by live not means exist...live the way u feel like u r free. Free ur soul n live. Don't worry.

You do what you commented in the video... you think too much and are very good at sharing your thoughts with others. You are an emotional sensitive person. So I hope you continue thinking a larger percentage of positive thoughts and don't let the negative ones consume you. I think your videos are speaking to a lot of young people. So remember you can give them hope and you can make them feel hopeless along with you. Not to gloss over adversity, but if we cannot change things we have to try and deal with it as best we can. Long ago I shared with my child my view on life. "There is no such thing as true and total happiness. You need to find the place in life you are least unhappy in." So accept the bad things as best you can, try to change them if you are able, and focus on things that do bring you happiness and joy. This is balance.
For me there isn't a single purpose of life, there are many. At the moment my purpose in life is to pet my cat who is purring as he she cuddles on my lap. She is content because I provided for her needs. I did that.
Our life condition is priviliged but is still not enough. Nature is cruel but , thanks to empathy, our species is able to fight death , pain , boredom and give comfort also to other species. We are so far the best cure to nature but at the same time It feels like we were made for a Better Place . Some of us we can't get used to the brutality of Life even though some people seem to thrive ( which goes beyond my comprehension)
I chose to live a simple and easy life. No hussle for me. Minimalism. I will just go with the flow. F what my family wants me to do. F being successful in the eyes of other. F living like people in the ads. And I feel pretty good! I dont want to be 'the best ', I settle for 'good enough '.

My advice is find an old good Book. Read it carefully. You may just feel like it's a collection of just verses that some unknown person threw together, but it is much much more. It will guide you to find answers for your hard questions and theories that you have had to surround yourself with that haven't helped you. I faced the same walls you are facing now. But, I read this Book and learned how to overcome and climb out of my cell. Facing life is still challenging, but I have Someone I can fall back on and receive comfort from. You can find this same inner peace and joy that I have now. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

A lot of people need to hear the same words, many are too distracted and uninterested in personal growth. If people around us wised up to these issues and cared about personal accountability, we would improve the mental health crisis and achieve better communities that try to look after one another.

Just seeing this right after the “Life is Bullshit” vid. I’m glad to see the resolve in this one. We all feel like life is BS at times, but the purpose of life is to find your purpose. That means different things for different people. It’s not always comfortable, but the journey of finding the best version on yourself is a journey worth taking. Find the discipline, consistency, persistence to keep moving forward. Feelings come and go-good and bad. But the daily habits you form and keep will determine your journey. And don’t be afraid to fail. You will. That just means you tried something new-which deserves its own reward.

I wish I had you telling me those things back in my days. Back in my days people are very harsh they don’t have the time and day to really tell you like how you’re telling us. Listening to you is like listening to the thoughts in my head. I also think you did a good job applying your observation in what you see in nature to human beings. The purpose of life is to find God & to learn how to love. If we keep searching for the things in this world, we won’t find TRUE peace, joy, and love. We’ll find temporary peace & joy. All things here are temporary so it may seem like a cycle. Know that you were created & that our Creator loves each one of us. You may experience suffering (I know I did countless times), but now that I’m almost 50, I can say I’ve learned so much. All the hardships helped me to become the better & stronger me. I can see the purpose of my sufferings, but I wouldn’t ever want to go through them again, thats for sure. Always look for solutions & have a growth mindset. I don’t want to get too religious so I’ll say this much for now: God is REAL & He will allow things to happen ‘cause that is how we grow. In order to appreciate the light, you’ll have to experience darkness.

There are many, almost innumerable 'whys' to articulate for the way we live, and addressing some of them is where the progress to self-actualization kicks in. "Why do I want any of this? What does it do for me to have it? If that isn't the ticket, what is?" or "If that's only part of the answer, what's the rest?"
What we devote ourselves to says a lot about who we are and want to be. If you don't devote yourself to anything, you're probably lost. Devote yourself to immorality, and you're still lost. At some point, you have to agree with your soul, and it's very tricky to even approach that element of yourself.

We tend to take all positives for granted, and focus on negatives a lot. It's the "grass is always greener" mindset. I always try to be grateful for the good moments in life, even when I'm down. Because someone, or something could always be having a worse day than me. I may be down, but I'm still going to make the best choices I can, at least try. We'll all be dead someday, and when you get there, life is going to seem like the blink of an eye.

The purpose of life is LOVE. Everything else work toward it or express some way or fashion toward it. Like the sun, it shines freely upon everyone no matter if you're good or bad. It expresses freely with no condition...the question is...can you do the same? Can you not hate another person because they're not what you are or not what you want them to be? Can you not hate the world because you didn't get what you want? Can you not hate another animal for eating another because it has no rational mind, no ability to think like human? If you can do that, then you're on the right path and your purpose is genuine.
Over the years you will realize that it's not about adding, building and accumulating what we're conditioned to believe we need, but it's about shedding and dropping the lies, a carrot hanging from stick in front of us that whenever we get it, it turns out unfulfilling; then we start chasing new carrots on new sticks; we keep running and chasing, trying to fill that void in our heart, but it never gets filled. Seeing and recognizing that defective pattern and that bottomless hole in us will help you see true reasons why so many of us are miserable. It's an addiction, and we're all in denial. When you get tired of all this circus, or when you hit the rock bottom, and are desperate, call on Jesus. I don't know your spiritual convictions, and right now it might sound off putting or cringy and difficult/impossible to even think about asking Him for help (I was like that - didn't know how to treat myself well and I was a stubborn atheist). But just remember, when you've tried out everything and run out of options, call on Him, He will answer, and you'll be mind blown. Peace to you.

If i may, but for a moment. I was told by a mentor many years ago that it is most important to understand what you do not want. You have the rest of your life to figure out what you do want. This is important. Its important to understand that this is an extremely important thing to understand and gain access to. The knowledge of what you know you do not want. Its right up there with the need for food water and shelter. It is the understanding of ones self. The fastests way to destroy something (or someone) special, is to compare it to someing else. Fill in the blank. Make choices that make you happy. Honestly. Sometime i live like a loser. The "grind" mentality can be poison. I live simply and do not "grind" instead a quietly gather and train skill sets. Both with work and in my personal life. My point is. You dont need half of what you sated was needed. You just need to be honest with yourself today. I started a job about a month and a half ago and im already jumping ship for a different job. Why is that not job hoping? Because i took the time to understand myself and i can concisely speak about why this new job is a better fit than the other one. This is one example at the end goal. Once you get yourself and know yourself and what you do not want. It creates mental and emotional clarity. Both are needed for true strength. And all truly strong people are kind. You just gotta figure out you, bro. Find a mentor. Teachers illuminate the path. Your path so you can clearly make your decisions from the heart. Its not about all the things u gotta have. I have 1 friend. Its about your mind body and spirit being true to itself. Find a mentor. Youll go through dozens before you find the right fit. Then when you grow out of them. Find another. And on and on and on.

bro, it's true that for us to live others have to step aside. But we weren't put here we emerged out of it. we are part of the system. nature always had different species that overtook each other. Now its us. Sure we are on a different scale in terms of impact, but we are here non the less. The important part is: Life isnt a zero sum game. There are so many possibilitys at the horizon to a greater future with less suffering. Death is a part of the game as is birth. No suffering is, on one side not possible and on the other side necessary to feel life and the good. (In certain bounds of course). We a conscious beings that can chase dreams. and i think its our responsibility (given by the ability of being conscious) to have those dreams pointed to direction that lets life flurish. Lets outgrow this planet, move industry in the sterile space and restore nature and let it have its way here. I think the beauty of this world lies in the continuation of nature. of human nature and of natural nature. we are here to observe and participate.

It's really interesting that we as humans forget that without the circumstances we are born into, we are literally the same as any other animal in the wilderness. Humans have conquered the world thru tool making and organizing/disorganizing (apparently made possible thru our big brain to body ratio), and while that could say a lot about how great as a species we are, we are still completely in the dark about how insignificant our scope of history is. We could just be a blip in the entirety of nature on Earth, and yet we are always touting ourselves as the top of the food chain. Civilizations rise and fall, and all it takes is random chance. And there's a point to be made about how we, at this present moment, are stuck in a course of history and time that is beyond our control. We are always going to be affected by the things that are going on, and no matter how we will and wish things to existence, we are just going to be trapped in our own time and circumstances.
And you are totally right, Kev, life is a constant loop of suffering, and even while we know this, we still fear death and desire to keep living. I still want to stuff my stomach with food that derive from sources of suffering which makes me feel like such a hypocrite saying I want to lead a more ethical life. And it's not just food (while the systems we deal with most of the times concern themselves with supplying food), but also the "essential items" we have to have in our daily lives. I really do wish the world made more sense... I wish the world was filled with love, and compassion, but small acts like that can't really detract from the complete picture of suffering.
But at the end of the day, we can just say ignorance is bliss. I'm not saying no one should ever think deeper, but maybe there's a certain level of thought that just becomes nonproductive and destructive. I believe nature and ultimately our lives are born from a chaotic randomness, and that there's no meaning to our lives after all. We are all driven by impulses and maybe morals were created to help us make sense of the world around us in a certain angle. But to be honest, I still want to keep living, and I still want to imbue meaning into what I do. I want to make my parents/friends/partner proud, and love them with all my might even if it doesn't mean anything to anyone else. My life is insignificant, and so is anyone else's, but hell, I just want to be happy knowing that I made the time shared with these people I love worthwhile.

You can have everything else but it is pointless. Love is the only thing that isn’t. The ultimate love is God and Jesus willingly laying down His life for all of us. I am pretty sure you know at least one Christian, ask them and keep being yourself, do what you love.

I can't remember a day where I didn't wish I died as a child. Finding out about these disabilities late in life there are no supports, there are no opportunities, there isn't anything I can do anymore.
Youre so right .im so happy hearing this .this worls fan be harsh but yea as u said when u apprciate how beautiful we can make it ,its alk about our persepctives as humans ,our exoectations, and our choices that shape the view and sometimes the outcomes of our realities. Just find a skill you are good at and keep crafting on it. For me I love cooking and culinary and it's one of those things that I always look forward to when I wake up in the morning to find what recipes to cook and experiment in the kitchen.
Unless you are a cat and live with my daughter Amber, she never wanted children so her 3 cats are her children and she loves them so much she makes sure she feeds them the proper nutrients and minerals enriched foods..toys all over the place, 3 cat trees, plenty of cat beds and hidey holes,scratching pads and poles,, never vet visits unless they hurt themselves after getting crazy on the catnip 😅, they are ger babies, names, Simon, Theo & Lilly..❤

Just like evolution of physical life on Earth, there is evolution of the soul, which shows up as wisdom. As to the purpose of life, we can rise above the eat-sleep-procreate world which is full of pain and suffering, and experience the happiness and peace that arises from gaining wisdom. What is wisdom? It's not the knowledge of scholars, scientists, theologians and those who are egoistic. Wisdom is gained by life experiences, learning from those who have wisdom, understanding one's emotions, developing love and compassion without attachment, and deep meditation.

Our life condition is priviliged but is still not enough. Nature is cruel but , thanks to empathy, our species is able to fight death , pain , boredom and give comfort also to other species. We are so far the best cure to nature but at the same time It feels like we were made for a Better Place . Some of us we can't get used to the brutality of Life even though some people seem to thrive ( which goes beyond my comprehension)

My advice is find an old good Book. Read it carefully. You may just feel like it's a collection of just verses that some unknown person threw together, but it is much much more. It will guide you to find answers for your hard questions and theories that you have had to surround yourself with that haven't helped you. I faced the same walls you are facing now. But, I read this Book and learned how to overcome and climb out of my cell. Facing life is still challenging, but I have Someone I can fall back on and receive comfort from. You can find this same inner peace and joy that I have now. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
