No wonder why my low spec PC too long because there's a stupid antivirus and message advertisement running in the background
30minutes! 30 minutes for my computer to start!! 😭
Same
Thanks for the information, this something I do from time to time, but have never worked on the Services part of it. Time to print out the list of programs/processes and doing internet searches for them. I understand what some are, but others, I just scratch my head.
Call me silly but why can't Windows tell you what it is doing rather than simply displaying an idiotic circle of rotating dots?
That would definitely make for more of an interesting boot screen, as well as a learning experience.
I tried the system configuration with Diagnosticstart up. Thereafter on restart I had the message "No pin available" . The screen offered a way to get the pin but that did not work. I could not access the computer. After consulting other help pages on RUclips none provided an answer. It would appear that the option to enter the Pin was not on the diagnostic start up. After hours of frustration I risked a System Reset and this was successful but of course the computer is still slow to start.
I followed your direction with using diagnostic mode and thanks, now I do not have any access to my computer, it will not accept my password so actually the computer is now junk. You should definitely give a warning to viewers before they set that option. So tell me, if you will, how do I correct this. Please get back to me. Thank You.
my used to take 11.2 - 12 sec but now its taking 24 - 26 sec and every thing is booting super slow .. please help
The man behind the slaughter
Thanks bro ❤ from India
Be careful if you use the diagnostic mode with the system config and you use a pin and forgot your password
How can you fix this problem.
used diagnostic startup now I can't access my pc...
I feel like my Jram is getting throttled by the Front Side Bus by way of the Control Panel's Administrative Privileges but then again I'm wrong 73.8% of the time and I don't own a computer either. Soooo.
I think this guy trolled me now I can’t sign in.
Followed the tutorial now i cant log into my computer 😝
After i startup my PC it wants to wait until i put in the password to continue the bootup process. how can i make my PC continue booting up even before i enter PW.
Thank you! hope this works for me!
I put diagnostic startup and now it takes me to some bios options and now my pc don’t start up
I tried the Diagnostic Startup as well, now the sound card is missing
DO NOT TRY THIS if you have a PIN!
My pc slowed wayyyy down and almost not functional at all, since I installed Avast one service.
Could that be it?
Probably real time virus scanning. If you have an older device with modest specs, the real-time scanning can really drain your cpu.
Great i did the diagnostic now it wont remember my pin. You guys shouldve really showed that part step by step. Anyone have a way to bypass the sign in w/o a pin?
Did you put a password on your computer?
I can’t seem to open task manger or see the internet or anything! I’m not sure if it’s because my pc is updating or the apps in the background but I’ve had slow startups before but after at least 5 min the apps start to appear. Now there’s nothing showing
Great video! Startup services are often overlooked👍🏾
Yes they are!
I tried the Diagnostic Startup as well, now the sound card is missing
Thx so much :).
Mine takes around 34seconds. Is this normal with my specs ?
13900k
4090 suprim x
192gb ddr5 5200mz ram
Wd 7500mb read and write m.2 gen 4
Is it because there is so much ram?
My problem is that the PC (Dell laptop and HP desktop) takes forever for POST to start. On the laptop a cold boot is fine. Only on a restart does the issue occur. On the desktop it doesn't matter. Booting into Windows hasn't entered the picture at this point so any Windows settings aren't involved. Ideas?
My computer is taking an eternity (if ever) to get on after pressing the power button. even without a hard drive... How can I solve this?
Mine takes a hour plus
MIne took 10 minutes and I have SSD so annoying
THANK YOU!
This is really helpful
Great video. But, I initiated the "Load basic devices and services only' as was suggested in your video and now the desktop no longer gives me the ability to sign in. The message after the basic boot up is "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN. [Set up my PIN]. I click [Set up my PIN] and received the message, "Search for app in the store?" [Yes/No]. 'NO' takes me nowhere and 'Yes' give the warning message "The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application." The sign in screen no longer displays the option to use a password. I have used a PIN for years and now it is asking me to set up a PIN. Any thoughts? Although the performance was slow, at least I was always able to sign in with no problem. Now, after trying to boot up with only the Basic Devices Load, I am locked out. Need help please. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks
start up : " not measured "
Nice, can you guys do a same video for macs
Great suggestion!
Awesome Vid thanks for the info :)
Glad to help! Thanks for watching.
An hour!!😭😡🤬
If you are removing a virus which is a fake anti virus use the diagnostic mode. But If not, don't use it
Typical PC.
