I can’t believe the EX started around $22,000 back in 02. A top of the line CR-V now starts around $40,000. Also, I currently drive a 02 CR-V, and while it’s old, it’s still dependable.
I have an 02 crv with 150k on it. It runs drives and looks amazing for its age. I think the 2nd gen cr v has aged extremely well for its styling. People often guess if it's around a 2010.
@@cameronb3834They also have very attractive styling, and the rear mounted spare looks right at home. The '07 model is hideous, later CR-V's are a bit better, but nothing beats a '97 or '02 CR-V, the only ones I would ever buy.
Bought one yesterday 286,344 miles Drove it from Rhode Island to Pennsylvania (8hr ride ) made it back so smooth I’m impressed for a 21 yr old car it drives nice
Ive got an 02 with 150k on it. 2nd gen crvs have aged extremely well and dont look like 20+ year old vehicles. Also it cruises 85mph on the highway at about 2.5k on the tach. I love every thing about it, except the ac system.
So do I. One benefit is when you're checking the air in the other four the outside tire is still right there and easily accessible. I wish more cars hade that feature.
One thing that sucks that with the outside mounted tire is if you get into a fender bender in the rear, the repair costs are higher. Edit: Check this Link out: m.ruclips.net/video/9mKNNfjjGIY/видео.html It costs $2,500 to fix a rear fender bender
@robertknight4672 from a practical standpoint, it does look unique back there. the Rav4 was the same way, but from a risk point of view, probably not the best place to put it. if you get rear ended, or God forbid some idiot hits it from behind, it could damage the tire, and that is your spare. other than that yeah i do miss that mounted spare tire look, but i can almost guarantee you, the EPA goons looked at that, and probably told Honda, which they likely told Toyota to, we can't have that. so that's probably why they changed with the 07.
The funny thing about this is I have the same exact car except its an 04 4wd and its got over 280,000 miles on it and its got almost no issues with it.

Adjusted for inflation that $22,000 in 02 is about $37,000 in todays money. Inflation is a b*tch 😂

@@youtubecritic4360I do also have a 2nd generation CR-V with 160 miles on it and it runs just perfectly fine and it looks good to me. Love it
It's much cheaper today if you factor in inflation
One of the best cars ever built. Still driving my 04 to this day
They're roomier than the newer ones.

Yes they are. I have an 05 EX with a stick also in redondo red. I love it!

The AC is weird, same for heating, something in the interior is always making noise whenever I need some air 😂
What's wrong with the ac?
Im still driving on Gen 2. 2003, great car!!! 200000 km without any problems!
One of my dream cars❤
That's really cool. I'm hoping to find one with the side airbags and anti-lock brakes!
ngl i like an outside mounted tire

Beautiful and great car this Honda CRV
Honda CRV is best SUV of Honda and VTEC is best engine of Honda

In 2002 the Crv was redesigned and launched in philippines as 10 seater
The second generation Honda CRV was launched in 2001 for 2002 model
I test drove a white EX 2003 CRV manual. Absolutely loved it except for the fact that i barely fit it in because I’m 6,5. 😢😢😢😢
It feels like you're driving in a literal box or square they're so roomy though. I drove one for the first time it was an 06 EX-L w/Sunroof
My 2006 had to have a clutch at 190,000 miles in 2020 , and a brake light bulb . May have to write a stern letter to Honda about reliability.........
This crv is one of the best crv ever made hands down is they give me for free a 2025 crv or a 2002 crv Il pick the 2002 crv way better
Can you find the 07 crv? Loveeeee your channel😊
Look up Chuck missler
