Very few cops are paid well enough, so mamy work 2 jobs/sidehustle. Some cops are paid even less than teachers for reference. All of this is based on the US btw.

Is it like a specific form of police officer or a specific state? I've always heard they get paid bonkers but maybe that's just in Oregon
Edit: so I did look up teachers too and Google is definitely inflating numbers from actual teachers I know so maybe it's doing the same with cops. Idk.

That time, I, Doctor Octopus, got reincarnated as an Octopus!
Reminds me from a storyline from a superhero comic called Astro City. Essentially, a supervillain was released from jail after serving his sentence and tries to find work. Most places refuse to hire him on account of his criminal record, and he struggles with the few places that do. He's essentially made entirely out of metal and has some super strength on top of that, but his manual dexterity is reduced as a result. There's a scene of him at a dishwasher job with him accidentally breaking plates and getting fired as a result.

This is sadly accurate to the actual comics, where in the early 80s Spidey promised to help Doc Ock out with his personal problems but completely forgot about it, and when he turned back to crime and Spidey came after him going "What the hell man" Ock called him out for not following through.

Doc Ock was always one of the weirdest villains that authors always had to FORCE to be evil. He has working neural interface, he build unmatched cybernetics and robots, he's one of the leader in fusion tech. He's the guys Justin Hammer and 90% of Iron Man villains wish to be😂
He's also criminally insane. Always was, except when he took over Peter's body and grew a conscience.

Typically, it’s due to his tampering with his own nervous system to control the arms, which, due to an accident, or the interface not working, ends up giving him several devils on his shoulder, with no emotions whatsoever towards his plight. Or the neural connection just removes his inhibition and makes him go bonkers.

Doc Ock is the most relatable supervillain since I lost my kids and the gas prices caused me to run out of fuel on a camping trip and lose my car since I couldn’t pay for a tow truck.
