Great video! Thanks for the transparency. I’m 67, still working full time. January 2025 was the start of my fourth year. Can’t yet do it full time. Hopefully in a few more years!
Very welcome, thanks! I'm sure you can get to it even sooner. Is your full time job holding you back from scaling also? I remember how difficult it was to finally make the jump from a job to doing this full time and the amount of time I gained back to scale was huge. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing this Andrei! I've been approached by a few realtors and business about a video shoot for them and I recently came across your channel. I have watched almost all the videos to date and I have to say I think the real estate Niche is something I want to pursue. I feel confident in my skills and gear that I could do a good job from all the tips and educational videos you have made. Thank you very much for sharing!
That's awesome, glad to hear it! I think you should definitely try it out, not even something you have to fully commit to first but definitely do a few shoots and see how you like it! The biggest factor I love about this industry is how you can work with a handful realtors consistently for a steady stream of income vs constantly finding new clients for work like other industries. Thanks for watching!
@@AndreiRestrepo That point exactly is why I loved this niche, working with a handful of realtors sounds low stress compared to many new clients on a monthly basis. I use to be a contractor and I know the pains of this all to well. Thanks again Andrei I look forward to future videos.
Thanks! Yeah most of these points are pretty straightforward, but some may not know in the beginning stages when starting their RE business. Thanks for watching!
That was the hardest solution to find. I tried a few RE video editing companies, like there are for photos, but just not what I wanted. Can’t control how I wanted it done, they’re rates, only communicate through email, so on. Mine was a referral from another friend of mine that used to edit for them, and was looking for a new client! I’d suggest reaching out to other RE media businesses outside of your area and see if they can share what they do! Most higher end ones have their own in house editors from when I asked around. Thanks for watching
Great video, thank you for sharing! I’ve really been wanting to get monthly retainer clients like you mentioned, specifically brokerages that do a decent chunk of volume. How do you break into these accounts and get them on boarded with you for the long run? How do you go about the sale? A lot of these people I find are very committed and loyal to their media specialist that they’ve been using for several years now.
Thanks, glad you found it valuable! I think first coming up with solid examples to show potential clients is important to show what you can do. Like when people ask about it, I can email them short form examples, lifestyle photo galleries, so on. So even if in the beginning you offer it free of charge to some of your current clients just to get the example work, it would be worth it. Next, find up and coming agents or teams in your are or on social media that you could maybe do better for them! Or find locals that aren't even doing social media stuff yet, still come across those, and they always say "I want to get into it!" Third, come up with a simple and straightforward plan or three tier plan to pitch to them and maybe a free month trial or half off or something for more incentive. Thanks for watching!
Glad it was helpful! Both were referrals from other RE businesses, and my video editor works for us full time now, and the photo editor is a one off editor overseas, not like a big company to refer. For a good while I was using BeePec for photo editing, they were pretty good. Thanks for watching!
So much useful information!! Thank you!
Glad to hear it, thanks so much!

Andrei, thanks for making this information available. Your business model of growth is common sense.

Do you have any suggestions for solid video editors?

@ solid points and insights! Thanks for sharing
Thank you for all this information, very helpful. Could you share a photo and video editor that you use/recommend?
