I had heard from smt. Hansa ji (director of the yoga institute)in her RUclips video on the benefits of aloevira for health, skin and hair that application of aloevira jel would help remove dental plaque. So now could i use this combination: oil pulling in the morning(empty stomach) for 5-10 minutes followed by brushing with the clove and Fenugreek powder , then again brushing at night with clive and Fenugreek powder , application of aloevira jel and sleeping?

I use a mixture of clove powder, turmeric powder and black salt instead of toothpaste and it's actually better than chemical filled toothpaste.

Yes flossing is necessary to remove food from the contact areas of teeth.
There are other solutions to clean in between your teeth. You can use intradermal brushes or a waterpik if you have problems flossing. Biyearly teeth cleaning will also help minimise the potential decay if you do none. If you can, try to ask your dentist about options they recommend.

I had really bad calcium build up on the back side of my lower front teeth. I actually got rid of it by using antiseptic mouth wash and eating some pineapple everyday. The calcium literally started becoming very brittle and flaked off easily.

Whatever is the treatment told one has to visit the dentist at least once in 6 months or if you maintain properly (ie firstly floss then brushing then good gum massage ) at least once in a year for total oral prophylaxis that is scaling and polishing to maintain good oral hygiene

@@parvathib.n3970. Baloney. You’ve been misinformed. Scaling removed the irritating calculus so that the gums can heal and stay attached to the tooth structure. A good analogy is like having a very splinter or rock embedded in your hand. If you don’t have it removed,then infection and inflammation will occur. It is true that once you remove the tarter,the gums heal and can pull back a bit. But pulling back means the inflammation is gone and the gums are healing. Don’t refuse to have scaling done by your dental hygienist. That tarter build up contributes to disease and overall general health.

the natural coconut oil is actually very good, I have read about the western reviews and views about coconut oil and its uses, but in india,its been used for various purposes probably since the beginning of the time. the oils he mentioned, my granny has been using these methods and she learnt it from her granny..
