I can appreciate the term “Karen” because the meaning it’s taken on communicates a concept quickly. To me though I think there’s something unhealthy when a persons name gets co-opted and used this way and a label is created to discredit anyone. Just checking google it appears to have a racial element in the insult. Understand my dad wanted to make sure his child wasn’t given a name that he was made fun for. Don’t get me wrong Debbie downer, Georgie porgies … Karen I get what we do. It seems Karen is a bit more loaded in meaning. I just hope if there is a real Karen she has gotten compensated. Great talk I appreciate Shawn’s incites on many things and the way he communicates was easy to understand. I’ll check this show out again because I think he made some good points to revisit and pray about.
