The Chinese government had made it known that all vendors must take cash if customer don't have Wechat or Alipay but it is still very inconvenient... making change seems to prone as an issue so make sure you have change on you so you can pay the exact fee , it is so heart warming to see you and your dad reunited after four long years ❤
The cashless norm is not friendly to visitors. Been there couple years back, it was so inconvenient to not have wechat or alipay. Of course, they would still accept cash, but some of them gave me an annoyed look because they had to go through the trouble of returning the balance. Also, if you happen to have only 100RMB when buying a 10RMB snack, they would probably just deny you saying they dont have enough cash for the balance. Which is probably not true, they just dont bother. Just a reminder to set up wechat or alipay prior to visiting China to ensure a wonderful time there

When i was little I used to watch series that's directed by your daddy. Its called "pink lady", i really loved that series. I believe you can become a famous movie director like your daddy, as you are your daddy's son.
I've been to Shanghai way back in the very late 80's and went to Shanghai's biggest Chinese restaurant where i was the only Westerner in there and accompanied by four very genuine born and bred Chinese ladies. They ordered for me back then as there was no English on the menu. We had Viper snake bought to the table in a hessian bag and put on the table then all the ladies stepped back from the table, I sat there. Then after nodding my head in a yes motion they was collected back up from the table. They then bought out the snake vial in a short shot glass which I drank and the ladies laughed. It was like a natural instant hit awakening me , and the ladies said it will give you Longevity. Then the dishes they ordered appeared including Sliced Jelly Fish, Sliced Dog meat aswell as the Red Hot Chilli Viper Flesh which was amazing to say the very least. One of my very most best ever experiences visiting my Father who lived there and spending a month there to experience the culture. Not to Mention going to an area outside of Beijing where I walked the ruins of the great Wall of China that no one goes to with him for 4 hours aswell as Tiananmen Square. I so want to visit this beautiful Country once again. I had the time of my life. I felt absolutely very humbled there and loved the culture. Would Martina take me back to show and enjoy the Country once again ? ❤🙏🙏🙏🙌👏👍
