Imagine forcing someone to bonfire fight for over 10 mins, using a Murky and quickstep and hiding half the time, only to quit out when you nearly die. Imagine being that sort of person.

@@vengefulone6282 I don't wanna be that guy but it's really only co-opers. Invaders are really the real bros. 90% of the time I get invaded the invader always duels me, no estus, no cancer weapons and if they beat me they bow and if I'm fighting pve they wait and they don't gank me, hell, sometimes they're even down for a fist fight.
@@MrMetalhorse I mean i thin the cancer is on both sides tho. I've been invader and i've been in coop teams too cuz i like playing with my friends and I gotta say that even if you dont gank, even if you are playing respectfully and even if you are trying to be nice most of the times invaders will be that guy that points down when you were trying to 1v1 them (even with the whole team of 3 behind of you watching and letting them fight).
Coop teams can be annoying and all that but after all you are the one invading them and trying to kill them even if they just wanted to help out a friend who is having a hard time on an especific area. That wont justify all the salt and toxicity they also show but when it comes to DS3 community being bad, its on both ends.

@@dungeonmtr5145 yeah, there's for sure some rude invaders but is waaaay less common. Fight a gank and it's always the same bullshit. 3 tanks, one pyro douche or mage to throw shit at you when you're not looking, re-summoning if they die, they only fight the pve 1 at a time, and if they win you are basically guaranteed to get a point down.

Why bonfire duel is consider an advantage tho? I mean for summon yeah, but nowadays it aint an advantage to me since player count has dropping for 1 signs to even show up.
@@danialnajmi6301 As a host you can have 30% more health, double the Estus, 20ish SL more and 2 weapon levels more than the invader. The first listed advantage is huge alone.

-_- imagine thinking the skill to freeaim in DS3 is broken vs katana level stagger on a dagger...
the crossbow cant be reaction rolled or quicksteped at a certain distant combined with a player who has a great ability to free aim makes a crossbow set up with a corvian about the same tier as a murky. However if a player has latency (it doesnt even need to be super high) the quickstep weapon art can never be punished meaning every time you're going to be hiting someone its going to be a trade which more than likely the murky will win the trade vs any small weapon or even medium. This is not only because the murky has one of the highest ar of any dagger but its stun means it will win the next hit if you hit r1 after stun if you dont r1 youll be forced to roll wich a competent murky player will easily be able to catch, meaning three free hits for the murky. Basically murky is already stupidly broken on perfect latency but can be fought with a curved sword or another dagger where as a murky with latency the fight is practically impossible to win against somebody who actually knows what theyre doing without using a murky or harpe yourself
That last guy is a perfect example of a dark souls player that thinks their really good, but doesn’t actually know how to fight at all
For real, ego players are the only ones who bring toxicity into games and make them unfun.
Let's not lie to ourselves; he clearly knew how to fight. However, he definitely over-estimated his ability (the host advantage would have boosted his confidence more). It did seem that he lacked understanding of when/what weapons to switch to though.

This seems to be more common nowadays. Half of the people I invade just D/C if they start losing. Hopefully Elden Ring bans harder than DS3 to combat this issue.

I imagine the last guy expected his snipe duel to go better, but got really embarrassed when he got wrecked so hard because he knew alot of people were watching and judging. I'm not excusing his behavior, but I hope he looks back on it with shame, but strives to be better in the future.

I genuinely think that's why Krucy lost so hard lmao. I could tell from Krucys movements he wasn't bad but he kept trying to bait chase into swinging so he could outspace it. I believe they were both attempting to outspace one another the whole fight and when krucy realized chase was just going to wait for him to attack he started running around and hiding etc to get chase to attack out of annoyance.

Yo chase I heard you didn't like wizards, so I got a build for you: It's a faith/strength build level 120 thats focus is on darkmoon blade and weapons like splitleaf and the dragon tooth(gives passive +12.5% magic and fire resist) and having the miracl great magic barrier. Armor wise Mornes helm, cathedral knight armor and gauntlets with karla's leggings(has highest magic resist of all armor).
Your reaction to murky represents us all Chase. Honestly when they whip it out losing the fight...I feel a sigh is the most appropriate response. It won't save them but they seem to think it's unbeatable.

I never understood how people would get so salty that they would quit. I get upset when I get beat up in PVP because I'm not good at it but I don't get so mad that I quit. It just ruins the fun for anybody else.

Why does it almost always seem like you have double the HP of the enemies? Do people not invest levels into their health?
Optimising the build helps a lot I think. I copied others builds, people who have more time to work that stuff out, and in duels sometimes it feels equal and sometimes i two shot people. I'm guessing some people are either going through casually and don't care to optimise their build for PvP so much. Or they are experimenting or something
@@jackmoore2349 it’s usually because he extremely tanky and has a lot of poise, combined with using a non stat heavy build so he can put most of his points in health, damage and defense, aka vitality, vigor and either strength/dexterity or quality build
Yeah he has optimal builds that focus on health and non-one-shot-ability which is necessary for the 1v4 blenders. And other players sometimes dont have optimal builds or just focus on damage and get no health
in my experience pve players FOR SOME REASON almost never invest enough points into vigor. like, seriously. you can go above 24 vigor, dude.
@@pizza-for-mountains I play purely PvE and always invest 30+ points into vigor. It really can't be fun trying to do PvE and getting oneshot by the late-game bosses.

He uses the Honest merchant mod to get them. He often has extra weapons to make it easier to swap. (Like just having to push 1 down instead of 1 down and 4 right)

@@Folbak Because at least for now they have it were only host with phantoms can be invaded. Now if they change it by doing something such as adding a item that allows people to invite invasions into their world then I can see some bonfire type duels happening but I do think Elden Ring will at least reduce this by a huge amount.

I don't see why phantoms would cause they don't lose anything. Making me wish I had this game on PC now that I have one and that PS4 is dead, I like to co-op and invade in equal measure. Though if I'm summoned into a gank squad I just sit and watch if the host doesn't send me home lol. I've even been sent home by a ganking host for clearing the area of enemies which is weird cause it helps them, though I guess if I'm not helping the stupid host against invaders it warrants being sent home lol. I'm the most helpful to a host if they're actually trying to progress the game and not camp for invaders to "teach them a lesson so they'd stop invading" lmfao, actually have heard some hosts say that in the in game voice chat. Once I was kicked from a host's world and blocked on psn cause I called him a moron and that'll never happen lol, worth it XD

The only reason I can come up with for quitting, is the host doesn't want to lose his ember...kinda weak...Maybe the host should farm more or make another character

Most of Chase's build are sl90+10 since that's the "invasion meta". It gets the most activity for these streams. PvP meta is 120-133, centered at 125. As a word of warning, if you're new to PvP, don't go to meta. Low-mid level invasions at 30-60 will give you more chances to learn the game

I wouldn't be surprised if he did, was actually ironically using "meta PvP weapons," and intentionally playing poorly. When he hid away from chase, I suspect he was checking the stream comments.
I don’t get people. I’ve always been terrible at PvP. I get easily triggered by trolling behaviour, I’m bad at parrying and spacing, and don’t really have many alternate strategies when I’m doing badly. And yet, I have *never* disconnected. That doesn’t make me worthy of praise, the people who do are just fucking pathetic. If you lose, accept that you lose. You don’t gain anything by being a complete coward, and it’s just undignified.

It's a Curved Sword from the Ashes of Ariandel DLC. It can be found in the Painted World of Ariandel, located on one of the many roots that are on the Cathedral's cliffside, which are accessed by cutting down the rope bridge on the Cathedral side to convert it into a ladder you can climb down.

@@Folbak I think people sometimes just get unreasonably mad when they lose in a game, because you lose to a real person, that's all, otherwise, there is no point to ruin your game experience which developer had originally intended
I mean, today I met a guy in fight club who lost me with no chance, I wasn't toxic or anything, but a bit later he summoned me and somehow reseted my save so I've been teleported to the first location and all progress was erased. This is just sad.
