Well done, Rajdeep, very well done. We should stand with the people of the country, not necessarily with the leaders they elect. What a logical argument. India has always, and should always, support the country’s leaders-whether they are elected or selected is irrelevant.

3:25 Ms. Sara Hossain definitely has an angle to her monologue 😀 She said India had protests about job quotas and reservations. The protests I remember about that issue were 35+ years ago. Unless I’m mistaken it’s a strange parallel to bring in when talking about the students protesting in Bangladesh

Sara is absolutely right. For the last 15 years, we've had no voice, no human rights, and no functioning voting system. It's appalling. Rajdeep's loud, disgusting interruption of Sara Hossain can't change the harsh reality on the ground in Bangladesh. Please visit Bangladesh and see how we truly experience our victory and democracy back.

Rajdeep's whole narrative during this debate is not about Anti-hindu roits in Bangladesh or of the mobocracy. But his narrative is not that if India an oasis but what he really is probing is how can the same be done in India and encouraging the relevant stakeholders to think on this and why don't they try it in India and it would be such a beautiful thing, the mobocracy revolution so his friend Sara was given full air time to say this.

My two words on this, Rajdeep is as usual wrong and beating around the bush by comparing what happened in Srilanka, Afghanistan and for that matter Nepal and Myanmar with what has happened in Bangladesh but the is no equivalence here.
Withs regards to India's position on this affairs in the neighborhood yes India needs to help them in whatever way it can but with regards Bangladesh india does not need to do anything for bunch of thankless people and we just need to guard our borders and if push come to the shove India shouldn't think twice to take the terror infrastructure inside Bangladesh both overtly and covertly.
We have done enough for these thankless people till now.

It was the President of Bangladesh (not the Army) that installed the new Interim Government. And all the Advisors (Ministers) were chosen by the students. So let's get some facts right. The Army Chief answers to the Chief Advisor.

Whenever I see BD experts, they will find a way to blame India for their own systemic problems. India has no responsibility towards Bangladesh, and it's internal affairs. Yes, Hasina wanted to give sweet deals to India, so why should India not take advantage of that? India should focus on its own interests and not on pleasing Bangladeshi people and India has done that exactly.

    • @ImAbdurRahman1
      @ImAbdurRahman1 29 дней назад

India, for it’s own interest, always tried to have faith only in Hasina by neglecting Bangladeshi people. India was the first to acknowledge Hasina’s 3 highly rigged elections. India always backed hasina in every type of problem. Right now, no other country is giving hasina asylum but India gave shelter to the murderer.

  • @AjitKumar-lo9yu

Rajdeep just would not want talk about anti-hindu attacks and killing and if it was in India the attacks against the muslims then he and his coterie would have running with hound to claim there is muslim pogrom going on in India.
Do not understand why the Indian panelists are so accommodative of the Sara verbal diarrhoea against India and she equates her revolution with Srilankan but she should remember that after the revolution the srilankans no-one went after their minorities. Also plz explain What they mean by putting our eggs in people's basket, India has to deal with govt and not the people. Pakistan panelists says India boosting of killing of individual known terrorists in Pakistan but no Indian minister has said that, "Gus ke maregay" is a different. No terror attacks have been carried out by India in Pakistan. Also in which world is Rajdeep in SAARC is dead or has been killed and BIMSTEC is the future, where were you sleeping dude.
Sara Justify AL leader and party workers killing be it the Hindus who were affiliated with them. Shee goes on to say that there should be people to people contact, she must look at India Pakistan relationship especially people contact it has frozen with virtually no visas been issued. During the cricket worldcup in India hardly gave visas to 50 Pakistanis including journalist and those who were given visa were mostly Pakistani Americans. Did India do the same with Bangladesh, has India frozen the visas for Bangladesh to stop people to people contact, in fact as many 1.6 million visas has been given to B'DESHI, so wat is she talking about.
These elites were sleeping for the last 10 to 15 years and have woke now riding on the piggyback of the students protest who themselves have been protesting for the removal of quota system alone and the intellectuals with the elite have used this protest to overthrow a govt with western help. B'Deshi intellectuals are shifting the blame from them to India, how is India responsible if B'Desh haven't strength their judiciary, election commission, public service commisions, and police. If India had intervened then the ruling party will say India is interfering in internal matters.
India also does not allow Western nations to interfere in its internal matters and very staunchly guards and defends it, so how could India comment on internal matters of other countries if it isn't concerning the Indians.
The people of India vote in a free and fair manner in the election conducted by the election commission of India But people like Rajdeep, Barkha, Arafa Khannum, Rana Ayub a hell lot of them having been vehemently saying that India is an elected autocracy day in day out without any fear and people India are able see their agenda and some take them and some ignore them, but nobody stops them. So when have the B'Deshi intellectuals been critical of their govt and why haven't they strengthen their institutions under the different parties that were in power. How convenient was it to put all the blame on India. Why didn't the panelists bring out these points in this so called debate of democracy.
Rajdeep's whole narrative during this is not about Anti-hindu roits in Bangladesh or of the mobocracy. But his narrative is not that if India an oasis but what he really is probing is how can the same be done in India and encouraging the relevant stakeholders to think on this and why don't they try it in India and it would be such a beautiful thing, the mobocracy revolution so his friend Sara was given full air time to say this.

I think Indian viewers need to take some time and assess the situation from the a neutral and critical point of view. Don’t randomly buy any narrative from so-called GODI media. The relationship between two counties should be based on mutual respect and interest. And govt should have the public mandate. Here Indian politicians and think tanks backed the unelected government for past 15 long years. All the Bangladeshi millennials and gen z are very much aware of this democratic backsliding and one dimensional relationship between India and Bangladesh where India always took the advantages from an unelected govt. In return India ensured Seikh Hasina to hold and consolidate power.
