- Mumbai City is spreading its wings of connectivity & we decided to drive to the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport in morning as well as evening rush hour to understand which route is faster. Ofcourse once the airport opens up in 2025 and other links on the Atal Setu are operational as well, traffic situation would need to be revisited. But this video gives you a clear idea of the distance & time difference between two routes in peak traffic.

Toll at Vashi is about 47/- one-way as compared to 250/- on Atal Setu. Only setback is annoying traffic jams at Vashi toll plaza. Expecting the new deck will bring some relief.
+1
MTHL is currently usefull for only specific parts of Mumbai along the eastern freeway going towards Ulwe & Panvel...without the connectors traveling west-east to reach sewri exit is a nightmare..this bridge will unlock its true potential once Sewri-Worli connector is complete!
More money in my pocket is always less stressful 😁
Time difference is very less to justify the 250 toll charge.
I feel so too 😅
Yes totally
10-20 min saved for Rs.250 to an airport that does not even exist yet.
I wonder who it saves 2hrs for as per all the headlines it was launched with.
The old route to the actual 'Navi Mumbai' is the same time if not faster via the old route.
So there is a slight benefit if your are travelling to the proposed airport. Leaving that place you take any other place in Navi Mumbai, the Vashi route takes less time. Some day when there is connector from the Trans Harbour Link to the Mumbai Pune expressway at the Chirale end and one to Worli to connect the Bandra Worli sea link, then this link will be indeed a game changer.
Rightly said. Worli Sewri connector is under construction and Express way connector will be under construction soon
While I agree with it being a gamechanger, we'll have to see how much it's going to cost everyone.
Mthl is already connected to Mumbai Pune expressway
@@ambar8153 They are planning an elevated corridor over existing highway
Well BEST is going to start a Bus S-145 from Belapur till WTC, covering CSMT & End at Cuff Parade, with help of Chalo App. So wait n enjoy the view without Toll 😊
The time difference is not much to justify the price being paid here.
Very informative video 👍🏻 I live in the suburbs too, will go Vashi only. Will go on Atal Setu once out of curiosity though.
People just compare the amount which they are spending. The thing peace of mind and the rush and traffic is more than any money. And in peak hours if any car breaks down then u may miss a flight.
True, it's always the ease of commute for me.
Miss a flight? Wherefrom😂?. An airport that doesn't even exist yet
If you are travelling within city then there should be no tolls
How is the Indian government suppose to repay the 16,000 crore loan from Japanese banks!? You pay for convenience and better facilities
@@Abhi-now yes your last sentence is right in Delhi there are two ring roads, you can go around and around Delhi without paying a single paise from day one
If toll is less then more vehicles go from atal setu thats the thing@@Abhi-now
Thanks @sohinidutt6031, very informative. Quite convenient for people from Pune.
I use the MTHL almost every weekend. I live in panvel and like attending mass in matunga
It’s killer and also if you’re at the speed limit that distance is now only taking 40 45 minutes as opposed to the previous 1 1/2 hours
And it’s a much much easier drive
Also the mankhurd flyover is so bad
Vashi zindabaad 😊
Whether or not the Time is less for the MTHL but it does save on fuel plenty of it.
I just took the MTHL/ Atal Setu today while returning from Alibag….it was a terrible experience. The Cameras scanning the fast tags were not working at any of the toll lanes, resulting in at lest a 10 minute long wait, the toll attendant was manually entering the vehicle number into a machine for the toll payment. It caused a complete mess as she couldn’t get the number properly and had to type it again…..so much for saving time while using this bridge.
2:27 its not bucks its rupees
This depends from which part of the city you depart from Mumbai. Try starting from Bandra West or even Andheri. And then see the difference. You will see a different outcome
Initially that was the plan but doesn't make sense for a Bandra/Andheri person to take Atal Setu yet. Hence, a common point at worli with exactly the same distance.
@@sohinidutt6031 that's true. There is no merit for suburban Mumbai traveller to take the Atal Setu for a travel to Navi Mumbai, Lonavala or Pune. Unless there is a link via the BKC which bypasses all the traffic upto the Wadala/Sewri entry point
EV good
❤
It is not useful for anyone in navi mumbai. Only people who are traveling from pune to South or central mumbai and people nearby to mthl like ulwe pushpak dronagiri will benefit.
Yes, its not usefull for Navi Mumbai NMMC areas like Vashi-belapur.....its specifically aimed at developing new areas in Raigad district..Ulwe, Airport, NAINA, Pushpak Nagar, Panvel.
Before going to the airport, You must wear a helmet and install a rollover bar in your car. I hope you understand
Sohini would've reached even more faster had it not been the Comet
18,000 Crore of our Tax money gone to save 10Mins.
What a Waste!!!!
Another Jumla of Narendra Chodi.
10 mins saved 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The MG is better quadri cycle than the Qute
Pseudo marketing video of ATAL bridge... 😂 err.. collab shd i say😅
Hi Sandeep! Our sole agenda was to find out the time difference between the two routes in morning & evening rush hour. Hope you found some interesting takeaways.
PLEASE DONT BUY A CHINESE CAR
Promoting MG hector 😅😂 cheap Chinese brand 😬🤪 Big dislike
Are baba Marathi madhe bola bakichyana samajla pahije tumhi kya boltat
Kaat rhe Hain ye log ... This is not useful for Navi Mumbai(panvel, kalamboli , Kharghar, Belapur, seawoods , Vashi ). PPL who travel to colaba or south mumbai not the Koparkharhine or Gansoli.... It may help those who live nearby to the new Airport area URAAN ... Also not helping pune PPL at the moment might help in future... I travel almost daily and google never shows me atal setu at any time from kharghar...😅😅
These sort of videos don't do any good for anybody. They just burn fuel and energy unnecessarily
y ur promoting nonsense car
High toll on atal shetu
Bakwaas video no logic
Hi Kalyan Krishnan. You seem very upset. Would you like to elaborate as to why you think this story lacks logic?
What a nonsense video
India has to learn how to say the simple word...vehicle.... everyone in India says it wrong...😅😅
@sohinidutt6031 would love to see more reviews from you along with rohit paradkar
:) shall figure some stories. Thanks for watching!
