Wow, she was completely against allowing you to get underwater footage of her swimming. It shows how smart sharks really are if she really was waiting for you to take it off. Glad she swam off with such enthusiasm and definitely a success in my book. Great video as always!
Do this in a clear lake (Canyon Lake?) strapped to a big gar, catfish or carp when you get back to Texas. Awesome camera rig and great fishing, and I love that you're branching out into salt water!
I think putting the strap around her body messed with her senses somehow. Other successful videos I’ve seen do this they clip the go pro to the sharks dorsal fin
Have you been thinking about getting a drone with a release hook so you can go fishing far, far away from the ocean or any long-distance fishing areas ???? 🤔
Make magnetic straps or buy some. Make sure it's not to strong. That way you can tie a line to whatever u catch. To the camera/straps. It will release when you put enough pressure on the line. Great video.
@@matrixsequencescripted I like that idea. I don't know if it would work on a shark, as they are extremely sensitive to the magnetic field, but it's a really good idea for a lot of the stuff I normally see.
Alright before I even watch the video, I gotta open my yap and ask what I'm dying to ask : How the heck are you going to get the go-pro back once you strap it on the shark and it swims away? 🤣 Now its time to do the sensible thing and watch the video to have my goofy question answered 🤪🤪
If you touch their underside they normally become dormant gives same vibe to them as when you roll them on their back. Just a theory but ive seen it work almost every time. Im an icthyologist. Im not sure doing that to a shark would be wise.
That was real interesting to watch... Yeah, my take is the whole feeling of a strap around her body was so foreign, she just froze and dedicated all her brain energy to figuring out WTF was going on and HTF she was going to get out it all. Agree - NOT a fail; a learning experience!
I think the shark was just camera shy, lol, no really the strap threw off its sense of electromagnetism and it wasn't able to process the camera harness.
well duh buddy. put a dog collar on a dog thats never had one the dog will act the same as if its diying . they have to get use it to first ... its the same just a shark
@@filipbruylant2021 I see no valid criticism and no valid information being offered at at, so I'll just counter with the same: you need to learn a lot.
My theory is that the shark was overstimulated/stressed by the camera mount strap across its lateral line. If you have a theory, post it below.
Possible that it just sensed the electrical field put out by the GoPro and just wasn’t having it
you are one hard working fisherman
maybe she needed the time to recover. greetings from germany
Played dead?
Think the strap was inducing tonic immobility
It was like putting a sweater on a cat, they just kinda freeze up and clumsily skulk around until you take it off of them.

Ladies and gentlemen, this man has huge grapefruits! That was awesome
What a beautiful beach!
The last time I caught a blacktip was before my daughter (Jessica) was born in 2018. I can't wait to do it again.
I have a theory. She's one of the sharks that escaped the lab in the movie Deep Blue Sea 🤔 Clever girl!
You are a real lover of the sport of fishing. Your top priority was ensuring the safety of the animal. Thanks for sharing.
LOL. "Whatever" talking about how NOT far the cast was. That's how I feel sometimes. You can still get bit on short casts. :)
Bro you are the man 💪🏻
Love the videos!!!!
You're so lucky to be able to catch fish like that we don't have the ocean in Colorado LoL 😭

I wonder if she thought she was hung up on something it was just so tired and then felt free and took off that's interesting.

@chrisparlette3097 I have one but wasn't allowed to use it here as this was a bird refuge.
Sharks don't like seatbelts, it cramps their style 🤣
We here before the million views boys! Cheers!!😊

should had put a jetpack on the shark.
Yes!
That's too easy. I put a Shark on a GoPro. Try that then I would be impressed. Lol' Great video.

Let’s put a GoPro on a Shark? No, I said Laser. Let’s put a Laser on a shark. It’s not that hard.
Never ever fish with braid .... It's a disaster
