- Actor Jack Black’s band Tenacious D has cancelled the remainder of their Australian tour.
It comes after a joke was made about the shooting of former US President Donald Trump.
Band member Kyle Gass made the joke while on stage in Sydney on Sunday.
The tour promoters fired him! He did not decide to cancel the tour. He was canceled!
That makes real sense! That guy could care less what people think! So getting fired makes perfect sense!

Yeah, I mean Tenacious D have been very anti-Trump since he got elected (so much so that their last album suffers so much from it and the Time Warp Cover they did a while back). This was a long time coming (since the Post-Apocalytpo album) and it's a shame because I love Tenacious D but the way to go about criticizing Trump is just boring and unfunny and everyone just suffers from it

They didn't just cancel the tour!! Their insurance carrier said that they couldn't insure the band with hate speech comments and dropped them. The concert venues said if you do not have insurance, you can not perform there. Hence, they had no choice but to come up with some lie and cancel all tour dates.
