As ibis paint artist,the first problem sometimes happens with me. When it happens,i change force to more or just use pen and color these thin blank space. For the second problem,i do the same thing you said
u can change the paint bucket strength in settings btw, kinda helps for me

just turn on more expansion, preferably about 1.5 or turn on more strength
expansion option in the fill bucket tool options:

Are you by any chance working on a different layer? If so make sure to set the layer you want your color drop to fill to reference

Mistake number 3: don’t have the pen you are drawing with at a certain opacity. Having full opacity would also fix the filling issue

i usually color the thin line using a pen tool to draw over it in flipaclip
First trick on IbisPaint X!
Fill the area, if it leaves an outline, keep tapping the area until its full.
You forgot to put that if your color is on another layer, make your lines a "reference"! Otherwise the color drop wont work

An annoying thing with procreate, is with the animation tool. The more pixels the less frames. So if i wanna make something 1k by 1k i can only do like 60 frames 😭😭😭
